I give this place a 4 all round. It remains consistent in quality over the years hence why it has opened up several establishments across the region but I tend to frequent back to the World Trade Centre spot. Though the interior is starting to look a bit tired and could do with a interior refresh. The Seating arrangement is private and large. There was only 2 of us and they gave us a booth that could fit 6 people. The food was served extremely quickly - took around 10 minutes for all the items to come in one go. We hard ordered starters and one of the starters came after the main... So if there is room for improvement - it is to fire the mains after the appetizers have been served. Otherwise you end up wasting some of the food as you don't want the mains to go cold.... One way to tackle this problem is order the apps first then and when the first item comes order your mains to control the timing better. We ordered the Kagoshima Thick Cut Royal Pork and the Royal King Prawns. The Royal King Prawns were monsters. As a heavy eater you would think would two prawns be value for money as they are priced at premium  and it doesn’t disappoint. The prawns are meaty with lots of Roe. The Royal Pork was good but could have been more flavourful and slightly juicier. I prefer my pork slightly fattier and I would like to see Iberico pork being used to give it a meatier pork taste. The breading was light and crispy – the items were executed well. The accompanying Miso soup and cabbage is okay. It’s what you would expect but sometimes I wish they would jazz it up and add some dressing like a Goma or Wafu dressing. I give it 4 just because the meat doesn’t disappoint  and always consistent though the concept could do with a refresher as tastes have changed. Ginza Bairin offers a similar product at a cheaper price point – though less options on premium items which Tonkichi does excel at.  繼續閱讀

好耐冇黎呢度食佢嘅招牌菜。。概然黎得,梗係要試番兩款招牌菜式炸豬扒及大蝦。食吉列之前。。梗要做下運動。。手磨芝蔴。。白芝蔴夠新鮮。。一磨即香氣撲鼻。。正主角到。。。吉列豬半肥瘦。。炸得香脆乾身。。配合沙律醬。。我個人覺得比芝麻醬更好味又冇咁油膩。。超正吉列大蝦。。亦炸得乾身。。蝦肉大隻又爽口。。配芝麻醬就天衣無縫。。好正耶莱絲超新鮮。。正好在炸物中平衡口感。。值得一讚係侍應會主動建議將食物组合送上。。啱唒二人前(耶菜絲亦自動refill) 繼續閱讀

只在日本和台灣吃過這種炸豬排專賣店,念念不忘,今天去試一下這家大家都讚揚的店。接訂座電話的小姐似乎很忙,怱怱忙忙記錄了説只等5分鐘就掛了。我7點準時到時還有很多空位,到吃完也沒有滿坐。叫了赤身,甜美,但直接放在冰上😑。。。。。港式料理。再叫了炸豬排豬柳餐,炸豬排偏硬,豬柳可以但我覺得好似食緊香港買d豬,無特別香甜。桌上的兩種沙拉🥗汁偏咸。麵豉湯正常無咩特別,白飯🍚非常好味,有在日本北海道的感覺,添食了一碗。下次要試第二間了。 繼續閱讀

已經認識丼吉有10年,上星期再到銅鑼灣分店,水準依舊的好。新鮮即叫即炸,炸得非常香脆,皮薄,夠熱。今次豬排點了京都產的,價格是有點高,不過值得一試,份量足,有肉味,夠油脂而不太膩,很稔。炸蝦中規中矩,炸帶子非常大粒,夠厚身,口感很好。比較遜色反而是炸神戶牛,$3xx 60g, 只有4小粒,不怎樣有牛味,也沒油香。最後飯夠香,日本米果然比較軟滑。整體仍然非常值得推介。3人消費大約 $1200。我們即場加入會員更可即減優惠。 繼續閱讀

這家應該是最早登陸香港其中一家炸豬排專門店。基本每年到到訪一两次。食物品質和服務仍能保持高水凖,菜式亦増添了一些。今天就點了:1. 京都花脂黑豚定食厚厚的带點肥豬肉,沾上薄薄的麵粉、蛋汁和麵包粉後油炸而成的炸豬排, 看似简单,其實甚爲講。炸到金黄色,吃落外脆肉嫩,保留肉汁。2. 特上吉列海鮮定食(大蝦、帶子、生蠔、蟹肉薯蓉)- 大蝦吃落新鲜爽脆- 带子要刚刚熟- 生蠔外脆内腍,不能熟透- 蟹肉薯蓉做得好juicy配合自己生磨和特制酱汁,還有無限量供應椰菜丝沙律,令你吃落都没有油腻感覺。今晚唯一美中不足是麪豉湯不夠熱。 繼續閱讀
