This restaurant is situated in Causeway Bay, somewhere near Sogo. You won’t know the existence of this restaurant if you’re just strolling along the street unless you pay attention to the signboards or know the address beforehand. It is iin one of those plazas and you have to take a lift to reach. When I first stepped into the restaurant, the first thing that attracted my attention was the huge hot plate and the two Japanese chefs cooking on it. You can choose to sit next to the hot plate, or the
This is how it looks like inside. As for the night, I did not think twice, but directly ordered the cheese egg roll because it looks really good on photo. The cheese egg roll looked pretty plain at the first sight, but when I picked it up with my chopsticks, the cheese just kept flowing out, and when I raised it, I could see threads of cheese unbreakable. It was really 'cheesy'. Seasoning and flavor were great too. We also ordered the Pork Okonomiyaki. It was a decent okonomiyaki, but I would prefer more cabbage in it so as to give it more texture. The best thing about this okonomiyaki was the dried bonito flakes on top of it. It really elevated the whole dish, giving it an umami taste. I could not stop licking the leftover dried bonito flakes which had mixed richly in the sauces. We also ordered Fried Noodles Rice because we realised we need some staple food. Fried noodles and fried rice combined, cooking them on the teppanyaki hot plate. The generous sprinkle of spring onions on top of this dish really made me fall in love with it (due to my overly-affection towards spring onions). The beef cubes were really tender too. The whole dish was moist and nicely seasoned, and also most importantly, very fragrant. This restaurant serves one dish after another, without rushing (that is for my case). So this would be great place to eat if you want to spend time with your friends over the table.
