It’s a shame really - I was looking forward to getting a taste of London in Hong Kong but there’s still so much room for improvement at Fortnum Hong Kong. I hope it will live up to its name and get better once it runs smoother. The table service efforts were ok but still pretty inconsistent. We went unnoticed for a while, while we waited for our orders to be taken and there was a long gap between our starters and main course while we watched the table besides us finish their mains and desserts. The meal itself was also mediocre. Our seabass was over-done, with the bed of beans arriving dry like it had been sitting under the warmer for too long. The roast sirloin was also too well done for our liking- just wish they’d serve it slightly rare, but the cauliflower cheese was amazing and moist.

This is one of the tastier soup noodle places in north point. The spicy pork chop noodles are so good, but unfortunately the staff at this branch really need some training!

Last week I ordered a delivery meal and the lady who took my order was extremely rude when I asked her to repeat my order and tell me the total price. When the delivery arrived, the delivery man tried to walk away with $150 when the bill was only $112...

My friend and I went there for dinner last week and really didn't understand what the fuss was all about. The food wasn't bad but the service is as bad as it can get.

Bf and I made a reservation so there was zero waiting time. We were offered the outside seats to begin with and as I preferred not to sit in the shopping centre, we opted to sit at the bar. The atmosphere inside is so much better! Sat at the bar, we were looked after well by the bar tenders and the chefs who were really friendly and interacted with us! While managers and chefd were fantastic, only criticism is that there were a few members of staff who were blatently less experienced- possibly because the restaurant is still quite new. I really enjoyed the food, with my favourite dish being the Arova styled "brava" potatoes! The leek and potato soup also tasted good, as with the slow cooked egg with iberico ham and fried potatoes. For dessert, I recommend the piña colada! Although the name suggests cocktail, it was actually a nice creamy dessert with coconut foam and pineapple bits, served in a coconut shell! to justify price we paid, we ordered 8-10 dishes and 3 alcoholic drinks! Overall, an excellent experience and an evening well spent!!!
