Went for Vietnamese food with my friends in Festival Walk and came across this restaurant. The atmosphere is excellent and the food is alright . I ordered a bowl of beef pho and it was good. The beef was just right - not overcooked and not too raw. The soup is tasty and the noodles are good as well. It was not too salty nor sour compared to phos served in other restaurants and I really liked the rice noodles - its not too soft! Its just that some of the beef is connected to the bones which makes it less attractive. It is a bit expensive but considering it is in Festival Walk the price is acceptable.…查看更多

I use to visit Queen's Cafe regularly but the frequency has decreased. The atmosphere is good in the restaurant but the quality of the food is not as good compared to before . The rib eye steak that I ordered was supposed to be medium but they somehow overcooked it but the sauce, soup and the others are good. The cream soup tasted good and the steak looked alright with rice but it was a bit dried out and hard to chew as it was overcooked. Heard that teawood is good so I have decied to go and try it out.I ordered a toast with ice cream, and a mango pancake.Both of them are delicious especially the toast with ice cream.The toast was pretty sweet in flavour and with the strawberry icecream that was on top of it matched perfectly with it. Both of the food are quite sweet!For the mango pancake the cream inside was just right both in terms of sweetness and the amount, and the mango flavour was well preserved in the pancake.It is one of the best I have ever had!However it takes time until you can go in and sit as it is quite busy.…查看更多

So one day I decided that I want to have vegeterian food .There is only one veggie restaurant in HKU so I went to Bijas.It is like a buffet - You grab a plate and pick your own food , but then you go to the counter to weigh it and pay according to the weight of the food.It is a bit expensive but you get to have as many rice and soup as you can so it is worth it.The vegetables were delicious and there were also some veggie meat available. Some of them tastes like actual meat and the flavour was well adjusted. Was kind of tired after football and decided to grab some food.It's food court so I didn't expect the food to be high quality food but it turns out to be good food The beef rice noodles was delicious.The came as raw beef slices but after being in the soup for a while it became cooked. This restaurant is quite popular among HKU students and I have decided to try it out. I ordered a bowl of ramen and a mango pancake. Both of them turn out to be good   and the taste is better than I expected!The ramen was a bit spicy but it was acceptable and the mango pancake was sweet.It might be too sweet for other people but it was just right for me and I enjoyed the taste of mango with the cream.Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely come back again!…查看更多

Wasn't feeling so well and I had congee for dinner.The congee wasn't so good it looks like pure liquid and I felt like I am having some kind of liquid-ish food. Went Yum Cha with my family during the weekends. Went there during peak hour so it was a long wait before we get our table. It was packed with people but the seats were alright and I wouldn't say it was bad.As it was during the peak hours it took some time until the food arrived after ordering  but it was good which made it worth waiting. The dish that was unforgettable was the Four treasures roasties (四寶飯). The roasted pork was delicious - it has the sweet taste and it wasn't overcooked. The roasties were good overall and the meat was soft and the flavour was just right. The noodles in this restaurant is pure class - its relatively cheap and its very tasty . You can choose your own combinations of noodles with different soup, food and type of noodle. Mine was beef flank, beef tendon and beef meatball rice noodles with broth as the soup. As a fan of beef, the texture of beef was good compared to the other restaurants and I would say the meat combines well with the broth. Best Cake Shop ever! It is famous in this area and people often buy from this shop.  The egg tarts were truly delicious and freshly baked. The crust of the egg tart was different from other shops - it was very soft and tender. It is worth every dollar you spend on it!
