Went here with a friend on a Friday night. it was a very busy and noisy restaurant with simple Japanese decorations. Atmosphere : felt more like a fast food Japanese restaurant, very noisy Service : was fineFood: You get what you paid for. As the dishes were relatively cheap compared to other normal Japanese restaurants, you can expect food quality being lower. Some dishes were tasty such as the grill whole aubergine and sea urchin x fish don. Went for a weekend brunch with my friend and found out that they are doing a festive brunch for $450 +10% per person rather than their usual weekend brunch for around $350. The menu looked similar but they were just charging more... But above all we were SO DISAPPOINTED by the food... everything didn't have much taste. We thought Statement has one Michelin star but this quality of food was really unacceptable.We had a five course lunch and tried so many dishes but they were all so bland.For starters/tapas, even the almond on the salad tasted off... The smoked egg dish was just strange with no flavour. The mussels in tomato sauce tasted nice but the mussels were not cleaned well. The beef pasta roll has no flavour again...For main we had the fish and lamb. Came here on a Friday night with my boyfriend. it was fairly quite but has good music.we ordered the clam pasta, the fish fish and the pork ribs as mains. The 50% off all food attracted us to go there on a Monday night. It was quite empty with just 5 tables. We ordered two sets ( Angus beef $118, special halal beef $178) and wanted to add $68 for all-you-can-eat fish balls, vegs etc but was told that as we booked via openrice so offer of adding $68 for all-you-can-eat doesn't apply, which is annoying.The beef was really tasty but small portion. The vegetable platter that was meant to come with it was even small, had two types of veg about 6 leaves each. Don't think you can call it an assorted platter at all. As the portion was small, we had to add four more dishes but the service was super super slow. We made a reservation via E**** which gives us a 40% off all a la carte menu ( excluding special sets and other promotional offers). But when we paid the bill at the end, majority of the items we ordered were apparently excluded from the offer! We tried to speak to the staff, who had been rude from the beginning, and their response was “ I don’t know anything about the offer, but this is what it is with the 40% off certain items”. We ended up paying over $1100 for two persons ordering only from a la carte menu, when it should have been only around $600, if they followed the terms they set out themselves! Was here on a weekday and we got a table for dinner immediately.We ordered a prawn mango salad ( the dressing a bit too sweet for my taste), a lamb shank red curry ( so delicious and tender meat and mild curry), a roti, grilled pork neck and fried rice for $400 and there was the H*** S*** credit card offer with $100. Food was quite tasty but portion was a little small. The staff was also nice and it's a good restaurant that doesn't seem to rush you to leave. Definitely worth going back!…查看更多

Went here for dinner on a Friday evening. We were quite early so got a table within 15 mins. We ordered the $188 set and soy soup base. Despite the cheap price, the beef was actually really good! Along with the set, you get pork and chicken which were alright and the other ingredients were tasty with quite a lot of variety. The staff was super friendly and polite. one particular staff even came to spoon away the fat/ grease in the soup throughout the evening! We made a reservation by phone after calling many times and nobody picked up. We rang to double check the day before, but on the actual day, they said they couldn't find it so we had to wait. It was meant to be a friend's birthday drinks as well!Staff super rude and unhelpful. The "bouncer" on G/f by the lift were not letting our friends to come up at 12am, saying it's full and closing - the place closes at 2am actually.The roof top actually looks really nice with cute decors but only has one toilet for everyone, so always a long queue.Really wouldn't recommend this!…查看更多

The food looks alright when you take a picture but most of the things are very tasteless and not fresh, seems like everything was frozen for a long time and has lost the flavour.
