食物還好，但是服務超差。當然明白有90分鐘限時，但是服務員真的很無禮貌地趕我們走。我們只是坐多了2分鐘(我離開時有check手機)，而且外面沒有其他客戶等位，真的讓人感覺超差。FYI, they chased us to pay the bill about 60 minutes into the meal, and then around 10 minutes later, the same waiter would chase us about finishing up and then would deliberately yell to another “colleague” that they have chased us already when we were within earshot (even when time wasn’t up yet!!!). When we were just finishing up / packing up and were over the time limit by about 1 minute, the same waiter came to chase us and then very rudely yelled out to another “colleague” that they’ve chased us again for the second time. We of course understand the time limit, but really it could have been handled with a much better attitude / service. Not to mention there was no one waiting outside for a table, so there was no immediate rush for them to turn over the table to other guests. Poor management and service. Would suggest everyone to head to the other hotpot restaurant in Citygate and give this one a miss. …查看更多

We came to this restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Service here needs major major work. Firstly, food took forever to get here. I ordered a sushi which took around 1.5 hours to reach me (I ordered at around 7:45pm, it got to me around 9:10pm). This was after issuing two chasers to the server. Secondly, when it came to serving the cake, the server neglected to provide us with any plates or cutlery (only provided upon request). The cake was obviously melted as well, which was extremely disappointing. I expected a bit more given that they charged us a HK$100 cake cutting fee. Not to mention I had to ask our server twice before they even served our cake.Thirdly, the servers served us the wrong food twice. Whilst ordinarily this wouldn’t be an issue, given the pandemic, this is worrying for other diners as their food has been exposed to strangers with their face masks off. Given how important it is for restaurants to keep up the covid prevention practices to remain open, I would have expected the servers to be more vigilant than usual.Although the food was decent, the problematic service had made the dining experience extremely frustrating. I made a reservation for Sunday 1130am a couple of days in advance, and when I arrived, there was absolutely no one at the counter. The entire place was deserted, yet there was no notice on their social media pages about how the cafe was closed for the day/for the morning. This coffee shop has definitely got to be one of my favourites. If I needed to get some work done, or just a chill place to hang and chill with my friends, I will always pick Black Sugar. The decor is nice, there is free WiFi, the staff are friendly, the music is great and the food is decent! Their coffee is also quite good, and the waffles are really amazing, and it is a must-try! The reviews seemed promising so I visited this place for a bowl of hot ramen on a cold wintry day. I was extremely disappointed for the quality of ramen I got for the price I paid. I got the butter ramen, and added an extra soft boiled egg. The soup base was tasteless and lacking, the noodles were not particularly good texture-wise, and the char siu was extremely mediocre. For the price I paid for a meal here, I could have gotten a much higher quality bowl of ramen elsewhere. Definitely a restaurant you can skip! Will not be coming back! …查看更多

After reading all the relatively good reviews here, I thought I would give this place a shot.Good things first: the service was decent - they were quite friendly and helpful. *note: this is a self-serving restaurant. The atmosphere and decor was nice too, however I wouldn't say the seating is the most comfortable.The Meh: the food was honestly not great. We got the steak that was purportedly a portion for two. Whilst it was thicker than the portion for one, the size was underwhelming. It was also extremely difficult to eat, almost impossible to chew through parts of the steak and I had to resort to swallowing huge chunks of meat after growing tired of grinding it with my teeth.We also ordered the ribs and that was alright - not bad but not great either.
