🅞🅥🅔🅡🅥🅘🅔🅦 Heard so many rave reviews about Godenya's Sake Pairing Dinner that I had to make a reservation 5 months in advance! We were beyond excited and had sky-high expectations for the dining experience.But when we finally went to the restaurant, we were a little let down - the kappo dishes, sake selections, serving portions, and even the service itself all seemed a bit mechanical and lacking in charm. May be we just had bad luck during the visit, but considering it's a new Michelin one-star restaurant, I was hoping for a little more 🥲😔🅜🅔🅝🅤 🅞🅤🅡 🅥🅔🅡🅓🅘🅒🅣- 🍱𝙁𝙤𝙤𝙙: Most dishes lacked seasoning and natural freshness, making it a bit challenging to choose our favorites.- 🍶𝙎𝙖𝙠𝙚: Was a highlight - the sakes were served at optimal temperatures and paired well in general. The only downside was the serving portion, which was a measly small sake glass per dish. Travel all the way to Vantage at Kowloon City just for that Kyoto like vibes of the mall - and it turns out there’s not much shops/ places to go around in the mall, and so does the surrounding area 🥺Then we randomly picked a cafe and stayed for an afternoon tea 😗 Absolutely loving their natural, warm yet still have some sophisticated elements applied in their interior design with then use of woody elements, resembling contemporary Japanese style, cozy, intimate and chillax at the same time🤎💗However, we were slightly disappointed when it comes to coffee and food 🥲🍞 Truffle 65°C Egg on Toast $78➡️ The portion is smaller than expected, think they can charge more and serve a larger portion with at least 2 pieces of toast. Didn’t know there’s such a cool place at Jordan 😝 Was having dinner with friends on a random Friday at Tsim Sha Tsui, then we tried to find a bar that can do walk-in without booking. Been to a few that were packed and we finally managed to find this still have extra spots to accommodate us! 🤩Their outdoor area is kinda chill too, yet unfortunately it was a rainy day so we opt for staying indoor to be safe 🥹 But the bar table area is quite cool too and you gotta interact with bartenders directly 🤙🏻Loving their cocktail menu design with slightly rusty and nostalgic vibes😗 And their drinks taste great as well! 多年前公司活動和一班同事來過魚治Happy Hour和Dinner,印象中記得他們的燒鰹魚環節很有氣氛,而食物和飲品質素也挺不錯,所以便決定和朋友再光顧他們🤓可惜的是,這次和朋友都覺得他們無論是刺身或熟食,質素都很一般,整體來說除了枝豆和薯仔沙律的味道較為正常之外,其他都不太滿意🥹🥹🥪鹿兒島A4和牛三文治這個好像是魚治的招牌菜,除了過於油膩之外,亦欠奉A4和牛該有的肉汁和香氣,我和朋友都只能吃下半件🫣🥩燒厚切牛舌他們的牛舌的質感過於軟腍,沒有了一般牛舌扎實彈牙的口感,亦跟和牛三文治一樣欠缺牛肉香氣,有點不知在吃什麼的感覺🫠🔥 炙燒味噌刺身他他店員會在上菜時用火槍燒刺身他他,很有儀式感,但吃下時帶點魚腥味,不太新鮮,大概是以為炎燒後食客難以分辨刺身質量?🤔🐟店員推介的時令刺身以這個價錢來說,能夠提供這個質量的原條魚刺身也還算公道,但是他們上菜時的擺盤並沒有提供冰盤來保溫,吃到一半變暖了有點unappealing 🥲🥗煙燻鯖魚配半熟玉子薯仔沙律個人挺喜歡煙燻的味道,沒什麼特別但還可以🤓💚 枝豆炭燒過的枝豆比起一般居酒屋加鹽的做法更加香口,作為佐酒小食相當不錯💁🏻‍♀️我和朋友都認為這是全晚最好吃的一道菜🤣🥹 …查看更多

Lunch at 2-star Michelin restaurant - L’Envol was a modern French culinary experience at its finest ☺️ Food aside, their pristine open kitchen, jade and dark emerald marble with floor-to-ceiling windows giving in plenty of natural lights - the dining room is basically Andre Fu’s interpretation of a contemporary French salon 👨‍🎨We went for the Allure Menu, and it has given you a lot of freedom in choosing which starters, mains and desserts, also perfect for sharing with friends that you got to try all the signature dishes as you wish😛ᴄᴏʟᴅ sᴛᴀʀᴛᴇʀs🖤𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙧𝙖𝙯𝙤𝙧 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙨 “𝘼 𝙇𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙚𝙧𝙚”(𝘼𝙙𝙙 $280)W3 No.2 caviar pairs especially well with clams due to its mineral freshness and salinity, which also enhances caviar’s flavour. 🦪 𝙀𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙪 𝙤𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙥𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙩Personally think the sauce with Pedro Ximenez vinegar overpowered the flavour of Enibu oyster 🤔💛 𝙃𝙤𝙠𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙙𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙖 𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙗𝙤𝙭 (𝘼𝙙𝙙 $580) 🌟Generous layer of uni served in a Caviar box, with a bed of Gamberoni prawn and crunchy fennel on top - definitely worth paying extra for the signature dish (and for the #gram 🙈) sᴇᴀғᴏᴏᴅ🦞𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙗𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙙 “À 𝙇𝙖 𝙉𝙖𝙜𝙚” (𝘼𝙙𝙙 $280) 🌟Cooking with the classic French technique “à la nage” that combines steaming and poaching to ensure the lobster flavours are punchy with seafood, herbs and vegetable tones. 本來想要預訂較為著名的日式燒肉店來慶祝朋友的生日,但因為我們忘了提早預訂,其他餐廳都沒有位置,所以最後選擇來到了這家開業近一年的燒肉店來試一下😆他們午市的餐單選擇也挺多,有著各式各樣的刺身、定食和燒肉套餐任君選擇👍🏻 如果同行有選擇困難症的朋友應該要花點時間選擇喔🙈 三朗市場季節刺身御膳 $328 套餐包括七款刺身、沙律、蒸蛋、麵豉湯、白飯和甜品,而刺身亦出乎意料之外的新鮮,尤其是他們的馬糞海和炙燒喜知次是挺不錯的😙日本產和牛燒肉御膳 $498套餐包括四款時令和牛、沙律、蒸蛋、麵豉湯、白飯和甜品,質素ok,但餐廳說到午時並不會提供幫忙燒烤的服務,那只會在晚上order Omakase Set才會幫忙燒烤😥 明白午時可能較為忙碌,但員工回答的態度有點不禮貌,令我們覺得有點被訓話的感覺🫠開心果雪糕和柚子雪葩 $352 ($88 Each) 最後職員問我們是否需要再點甜品來為朋友慶祝生日,那我們便分別order了他們的雪糕和雪葩,但是當時職員並沒有告知我們價錢,如果我們知道每球雪糕需要近百元,應該都不會order四份🫠 價錢都不在話下,但最令人失望的是他們竟然用蠟來寫生日快樂的祝賀句子,感覺有點像中秋節煲蠟的月餅盒,可說是非常「唔老黎」😵‍💫 我們連忙跟生日的朋友稍為道歉,快快吃完就算了,尷尬得很😮‍💨😮‍💨💭總括來說,他們的食物質素還好,但服務真的很一般,總之千萬不要來慶祝生日就可以了🫣…查看更多
