We booked a table for 3 at 12:30. We ordered 3 courses and went for the red prawn pasta. Everything was so great until they were rushing us to finish the red prawn pasta quickly! More than 3 waiter came to asked us can they clear the dishes while we were eating. And at last they took our dishes while we were chewing and having our last bite! Which was u professional for Michelin standard given that they did not clear the table bread crumbs and refill water/ wine until we asked. Went there for a drink, view was lovely. There was a black low coffee table misplaced and accidentally hit it and started bleeding. The waiting staff saw it and I asked her for bandage and waited for forgot how long, no respond and no update, so asked again and they told me nope, left me bleeding and no bandage. I asked another staff who seems to be a manager and at last got me a bandage after maybe half an hour. Totally disappointed with the service despite how lovely the view is. Unbelievable to left an injuries client alone and unbelievable for a restaurant for not having amy bandage… nor to at least update and get back to us about it. Was looking forward to a relaxing lunch as I was much attracted by the balcony. Took some effort to book the balcony seat, and was told that steak was sold out once settled in. There were only 3 choices, with the steak taking off from the list, only fish & pasta left which was non attractive. I have asked the staff a few times if there is any replacement for the steak, like some other meat perhaps pork or chicken, they strictly told me no, no more steak, only fish or pasta.Was too disappointed as a normal restaurant would at least refill the sold out choice with something equivalent, but nope, nothing, either take it or leave.…查看更多

喺舊舖嗰陣已經幫襯，新鋪大啲，坐得舒服啲，但舊舖氣氛好啲。講返重點，佢哋個雲丹丼真係不得了，有三種海膽，分別係日本，韓國，加拿大。師傅比海膽一啲都唔手軟但一個人食晒一個海膽當始終有太多，所以每次都叫卜口丼share食，有吞拿魚腩，蔥吞拿魚腩同吞拿魚，雖然好邪惡，但系久唔久就會想去食一次Started going to this place when it was still at their old location, the new location is bigger with more seats, however the atmosphere was better back then.Anyway, back to the topic, their urchin don was to die for, it comprised of urchin fromJapan, Korean & Canada. Service was beyond worst, it was more rushed the dining at cha chan tang ( local casual place). Once we sit down, few waitress came and rushed us to order food, incredibly they were so rush that they went away before we fully ordered the food! There were 4 of us, she left after we ordered 3 drinks and we had to order with another waitress! That’s kinda crazy to begin with!Since then they just couldn’t stop peeking at out table and take our unfinished food and drinks away, till the guy ( maybe he is manager as he wore a different t shirt) came and told us there are people waiting while we still haven’t finish our last dish!It was ridiculous really! I do usually say good words but I guess this is my first bad review .... 😞Went there with a friend for dinner before public holiday, it was more than half empty when we went in, it wasn’t a good sign.I guess the restaurant was too empty that waiters and waitresses were paying all attention to us in a bad way and was rather pushy, few of them kept coming to us and kept asking what we wanted while we were discussing between 2 of us what to order.We at last ordered a few dishes and showed them a photo of a dish we wanted and sadly they made a mistake and served us a totally different one.Anyway the service was on the bad side while the food was pretty pathetic!  We ordered calamari, it was sooooo skinny and small that we can’t even taste any calamari in it!  It was so dry too!  We ordered our favourite dish suckling pig, it was crispy, but so tasteless and portion was soooo small!  Seafood paella was the best dish out of all but it was rather wet and the prawns on top of rice was not cooked!It was quite a shockingly bad experience as I haven’t had a bad meal in Hong Kong for years!  There is always something good to pick about each place I go, but sorry, there was really none at Zafran 😞…查看更多

Nobu has always been my favourite place for Japanese food in town until my most recent visit this afternoon.I went here for lunch with my girls and needless to say, food was excellent except I have a friend who is pregnant, and we asked if we could replace the salad from her lunch set to some cooked food, at least  the Japanese green bean or something.Surprisingly the waitress said they ONLY got salad, or we could have another miso soup.  Which she already has in her set and there is no point to have 2 portions.  This really didn’t make any sense and was really disappointing to learn how not flexible Nobu is 😞…查看更多

 Butao Ramen has been my favourite ramen shop for the past few years!Thought the noodles went downhill a bit, but had the most terrible service tonight! Served by a trainee, she forced us to seat at a very full table, which was so crowed that we were almost seating at the table corner and had to twist our back while there was empty tables around!I asked can we move there and she replied no with a poker face!  And as u can imagined, her attitude then went super bad when talking with us and throw temper on us and gave us the most black face ever!Sorry Butao Ramen, u have been my favourite but I doubt will I ever come back!…查看更多

Went to Captain's house with a group of friends, booked a table for 6:30 and they already called and ask are we on the way at 6:25...?!?We ordered the signature seafood bag with few side dishes and mains.Cheese!!!!!  The nachos was surprisingly good!The mushrooms were nice too.We were so excited and couldn't wait for the seafood but we ended up sooooooo disappointed at that.  The seafood especially the prawns weren't fresh, not at all!  It tasted like it was frozen for sooooo long that it lost the taste and texture.However, we ordered garlic bread and it tasted nice with the sauce.We were tooooo disappointed by that time and we all forgot to take the photos of the other 2 main.The ribs was soooooo dry!  The confit de canard was good, phew!  But they forgot our order and we had to follow up a few times... Decided to give a try at not only meatballs for my friend's birthday as she loves meatballs It's specious and love the atmosphere there.  Had a good feeling that it's gonna be a good dinner We have decided to go for their tasting menu so we can try a bit of everything, but it wasn't easy to nail down and decide what to chose as there were quite a lot of choices...The bread was chewy and nice, love their butter!Both of us are a big fan of parma ham so here we go!The scallops were juicy and fresh.Meatball time!  We prefered this one than the other .... If I remember right, it's with octopus and chorizo.This was the pork meatball and was a but dry....The pasta was alright, but couldn't taste the sea urchin.... The dessert was looking and tasting wonderful!Food weren't perfect but it was a wonderful night, guess everything was above average as a package...  Will go for more small dishes instead of pasta next time round..…查看更多

Always like the fishballs from Lam Cheong Kee, passed by today and was thinking to get curry fishballs, but they have recommanned me to try their new ' golden fishballs' instead.They said it's cripsy and hot outside and soft inside... hmmm why not to go for a change?They served it with thousand island sauce, as a spicy lover, I added chilli sauce on top...It's freshly fried and it tastes amazing!  I am glad I made the right choice …查看更多

Bahn mi is something very simple, but yet hard to taste good.And I can say this is possibly the best bahn mi you can get in town.It's tasting same as the one I had in Hanoi  The sandwich itself it's fluffy with cripsy skin, the veggie inside is so fresh and tasting very good with the sauce.…查看更多
