I decided to try this restaurant for my birthday. Whilst the food was good, and it was overall an enjoyable experience thanks to the efforts of the chef, everything else was not upto the mark. When the chef presented our 1st course we had no cutlery on our table, neither had our drinks arrived which we had ordered about 10-12mins ago. There was only 1 other table with 2 people at this point too. After reminding they apologised and brought the drink, still a few minutes later, no taste testing offered, just poured it on. In short the service team was very below par for the price range at the restaurant The food itself was hit and miss. The chef present each course himself but I suspect this can be sustained of the restaurant had more guests and every table at a different course at different time. I do very much commend his efforts to create some unique flavours. But some dishes probably too complicated and missing the mark. Their cancellation policy for one did make me wonder if it was worth going- I forced to go. About 36 hours before my reservation, I wasn’t so well and did think about cancelling the reservation or moving it. Only to find out once reserved it cannot be cancelled at all! And any chances is 21days in advance. Pretty much felt trapped. They would charge 500$ per person. Even the best Michelin restaurants or others offer 24hr cancellations. This only made me think they are not confident yet!In the end they only had about 8-10guests overall that night. Hence every thing given, it was an underwhelming experience. After waiting months to get a table here, it certainly didn’t disappoint! An intimate restaurant and we were lucky to get the kitchen counter tops! Watching the chefs at work and then tasting the food just elevated everything. By far one of the best meals I’ve had in HK! A well designed large space, and at first very inviting. Friendly service, and we had high expectations having followed them on social media pre launch and since. However the over all experience especially the food was a little underwhelming, and questions the value for money. Cocktails were OK but nothing to shout about. Been here twice now, one during the early days of launch and more recently. My knowledge of Filipino food was limited and interest very little. I am so happy I went to try this. It’s food definitely made with love. No frills, just beautifully cooked and presented meals for hearts content. It doesn’t stop there- pretty much all of their unique cocktails are worth a try! The Calamansi margarita and Pandan negroni a real must try!Service with a smile, and in general oozes a great vibe. Thank you for bringing authentic Filipino food to HK Dara! Love the little twist in the dishes they offer. Been here a couple times and the food hasn’t disappointed at all! The oxtail hummus is simply mouthwatering! Perfect service, but does seem very rushed. Not a place you can sit and relax over food and wine- blame their popularity I guess! Worth more than a few visits to try their various dishes. Been there for lunch and dinner, definitely recommend lunch! The options on the menu can be different between the two. Some dishes are a hit and miss. The red prawn squid ink pallela is definitely worth trying. The steak tartare with brioche wasn’t upto par at all sadly- expected a lot more given the quality of their other dishes. Booked their lunch service recently and my guest was vegetarian. Their lunch menu on their website showed vegetarian options. On the day however not only did their set lunch have no vegetarian option, neither did their main menu (except starters). Not only was this highly embarrassing for me, but unacceptable! The chef offered to “make” a vegetarian dish… which my guest very kindly said was “nice”. I had their Uni Carbonara- pasta not cooked properly, and really an overall below par carbonara itself with a serving of uni on top. Very well presented and value for money lunch set. Plenty choices to pick from. Probably would help to have more non alcoholic drink options, especially in summer and maybe options to add some small side orders of tempura etc. But overall good. Look forward to returning …查看更多

Pretty average food especially for what it’s priced. We ordered a Beef Rendang and it was nothing like one but just another curry. All very mild, average with no taste.
