Finally comes to the long weekend. What's better than indulging ourselves in some good yet evil food. This time my friend picked Blue butcher and I am like "why not?!" since I have not been here for years. We got 4 ppl and ordered 2 starters, two sides, and two beef dishes as recommended by the staff there. - roasted bone marrow- blue mussels- Australian , M8, Wagyu, Sirloin 12oz- Blue beef ribs- fresh baby spinach- truffle parmesan friesLets talk about the goods first, Dining in such beef specialist place, it is understandable to have high expectation on the beef dishes. The Blue Beef Ribs scored a 10 out of 10. Credited to the slow-cooking, the ribs are so tender and juicy. One thing to comment tho, I personally think the barbecue sauce is a little bit too much which covered the beef flavor. Nevertheless, another beef is not as delectable as the beef ribs. The sirloin is just OK but not very impressive. It does perfectly cooked to medium rare but the beef flavor is not strong. Interestingly there is mint flavor on top of the beef. Not sure if this is there secret recipe. What's more disappointing is the truffle fries. I love the aroma and flavor of black truffle a lot, no matter its literally pieces of truffle or just truffle oil. The truffle fries in Blue Butcher is more like a garlic and cheese fries. Hardly can I taste the mushroom/black truffle flavor. I am not saying the fries are bad. It is crunchy outside and soft and stuffed inside. BUT, it is just not black truffle fries!!!!Overall, the blue ribs, starters, and customer services are quite nice but still not compensable to the disappointing sirloin and truffle fries. …查看更多
