Have been coming here regularly for over 1 year. The food is consistently tasty and reasonably priced. The restaurant is small and cosy.  The staff are nice and usually playing Michael Jackson soundtrack. The beef vermicilli and prawn cake vermicilli are my favourite foods on the menu. Tried the chicken curry today and that was very good. Definitely would recommend this place. It does get very busy at lunch so suggest turning up at 12pm when they open. …查看更多

waitress incredibly rude and bad attitude. food very greasy and doesn't taste fresh. prawns had an off taste but luckily they were so stingy with it we didn't have to eat too much of it. pork with pomelo was probably the only thing tasty. the starter platter is very small and again not fresh tasting. interior is OK. food is too expensive for zero service and food quality. we almost left because the waitress was so bad. wouldn't come back again and there are much better Vietnamese restaurants that are reasonably priced for good food, even if there is no service at least they don't make you feel unwelcome.…查看更多

Beef banh mi has been consistently delicious each time we visit. The bun is warm and toasted, the filling is just right and has a nice kimchi kick. Fries are crispy and tasty. Based on the overwhelming good reviews we went to this place. The shocking reality is that it turned out to be nothing special at all, in fact the customer service was awful which made our experience even worse. The burger is standard, the beef patty is chunky without any beef flavour. The chunky chips with melted cheese was like wet cardboard, the chips were not crispy and the cheese was stingy and had no taste. When we sent it back the manager was rude and said the melted cheese makes the chips soft, even though most of the chips didn't have cheese on it. Service: polite but have really dirty, bad habits. on seating we are offered bread sticks which are prepared and sitting in the open by the bar. it makes you wonder how long they have been there. the staff cleared our table and immediately collected left over bread sticks customers who had left and re-bundled them with unwashed hands. they then offer the bread sticks to new customers. this is just gross.when the staff cleared our starters, they made us re-use our cutlery and put the used cutlery on the table. we noticed the table is not be clean because they just use a damp cloth from the bar to wipe down the tables and don't rinse the cloth. it's not a buffet so why not give clean cutlery? again it's just unhygienic.Food: salad was small and soaked in dressing. potato gratin oozed oil when pressed gently, side veggies was sitting in a lettuce with a pool of oil. extremely overpriced for this low standard. my partner felt ill after eating their pasta.Decor: dark and dusty 80's decor with night club music at 1pm. feels really dated.Sorry would not recommend this restaurant and would even tell people to avoid it.…查看更多

It's not busy, the restaurant had about 5-7 diners. We ask to sit at the booth (all 4 are empty) and they say it's reserved for 3+ people and sit us elsewhere. 2 westerners walk in and they sit at the booth..........when I queried the staff they said the condition was the booth had to be shared with other diners. What? Even though there are 3 other empty booths and the restaurant is empty the staff wanted to sit strangers together?? Who trains their staff to be more concerned with seating rules than diner comfort and why are there different rules for locals? That is so warped.Ordered chicken quesidilla, although they gave an option to swap out the fried potatoes on the side to a healthy salad option, they still kept the limp, fatty skin on the chicken. That was a contradiction. It tasted quite horrible biting the slimey skin and the chicken was really fatty, it just tasted like it was boiled in water. It was way over priced for what it was.I had the pesto, mushroom risotto the first time I came and that was really tasty. But I also remember the booths being empty because no party of 2 where allowed to sit there. Regularly came in for soup noodle and salad about 2-3 times a week. They are both OK for quality and value for money. I tried the rice dishes but really disliked the meat/sauce slop. They have lots of good things on the menu which is why I became a regular. The interior is a bit dated but does the job. Generally the service is OK, no big expectations until one of the waitresses became aggressive and controlling over seating. Even when it's not busy she tries to seat all strangers onto 1 table. First impressions, it's a very good looking restaurant, lots of windows, bright light and modern interior. We were sat down and given a slightly confusing lunch menu. It's HK148 for salad bar buffet and you can 'add on' a main course for more money, or 'add on' dessert for another price. All the different breakdown of pricing makes it feel like 2nd hand car sales. We went ahead with 1 salad bar buffet and 1 duck breast main from the a la carte menu. I did not notice any time for the buffet and was given a last order warning 40 minutes later. I was actually hungry so I wished the waiter told me as soon as I ordered because I would have paced myself differently! The salad bar was quite good, no complaints there. Lots of cheese, bread, cured meat, soup, salad and fruit. The duck breast main dish, although they gave good portion of duck meat the side salad or lack of was very stingy indeed and skimping on salad or a little more side dish just looked cheap cause the ingredients are so inexpensive compared to the duck. The waiters were constantly walking past the small gap between our tables when they could walk around us where there are empty tables. I normally come in for coffee and decided to try their food. I have come here for lunch twice and been very impressed and happy both times. HK98 for soup, main and dessert which is all very tasty is a really great deal. It's a little cheaper if you just go straight for a main course. The first time I had grilled salmon and it was good quality. This time I had NZ roast lamb and the portion was balanced and just right for me, the gravy so good I could drink it. The lady's that work there are always chirpy and welcoming. The shop is actually in the lobby of a commercial building and they are set up next to a giant window with a great view of the street. Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here a few times a month and each time the quality is good and the service is good too. The food is tasty and the pricing is reasonable for the overall experience. I've become a regular and always bring friends here for a meet up over coffee or food. When we arrived upstairs there were some seats available but every empty table had left over food on it. No one seemed to be tidying the tables. We sat at a table that had the least rubbish on it.  Had a lasagne and it was a congealed lump with no difference in texture between the pasta or meat sauce. It was so bad I couldn't finish it. Ordered a pizza it was OK nothing special.  It has always been poor service even before it moved into Lee Tung St. Staff don't serve you, you have to get their attention. The food is very tasty and I like the various combos they offer. We came in the early days when this shop opened and love to see it adapting and grwoing their menu. The food has always been consistently good and it's great to see they are in the Michelin guide now. We got to meet Kelly who is a very charming and friendly lady. We came in and there was only 1 customer in the whole restaurant. They wanted to sit us right next to them in small corner! We chose to sit elsewhere and they commented 'there's no difference'. Anyway, we ordered sweet and sour fish and it was very tasty and also a very good portion. The value for money was good but all the staff looked like young adults who got detention on a weekend. They looked miserable and unimpressed! The interior is cool, it has a great HK vibe with a contemporary twist. No matter how great all the other components are the service makes or breaks your experience and that's why I'm giving a low rating. The food is pretty tasty, especially the stews and we were happy with our desserts. The interior is rustic and relaxing to sit in. The service is very hit and miss though with some staff being very good and some quite rude which affects the experience. Because of the inconsistent service the price feels on the high end.
