As covid quarantine requirement restricts local people from travelling to Japan, the sushi omakase has become much more expensive and difficult to book. The places I used to go become very impossible to book. Some other sushi chef even only serve private closed circle group. This place somehow went to my to-try-list long time ago and I decided to book it without any further due diligence. This however turned to my one of the worst sushi omakase experience. For lunch charging of $1080 per head, which has become the new norm in Hong Kong for sushi omakase in lunch time, I had some expectation.The omakase started off with steamed egg, which taste like imitate crab stick mixed with bits of crab meat. The next five dishes of sashimi use nothing of seasonal fish and they taste like the chef just randomly put some seasoning or flower or seaweed on it. The tuna is not otoro or chutoro. The remaining six sushi are same disappointing. With the poorly made shari and not very fresh sashimi, I could only imagine myself finish this meal quickly. The final one is uni roll which they didnt display the source like other sushi places. The only enjoyable dish maybe the Japanese melon in the end. They were quite fully booked so we waited until 8:45 for a table. The waiter said some parts of beef have been sold out. We ordered a few items and it took long time to prepare. Th waiter seem dunno what they are serving us and when ask them they simply disappeared and not come back to follow up. The beef is thinly cut and not fatty or good quality enough that I would have in Korea. It way much over priced for dinner. Definetly not coming back here again.…查看更多

Came here for lunch today for a lunch set of $210. This can considered as a mid range price now as sushi in Hong Kong became very luxury. The service is very bad as the waitress didnt let me order the tempura in one of the options in my lunch set as she needed us to return the table in one hour. She explained to me that it may take a long time but then I said I had no problem with it. The sushi was not fresh at all and I felt sick after it.
