Recently, the service level has been continuously degrading. Staff looking like they’d rather be anywhere else, acting like customers are so beneath them, answering any question like they’re offended you even sat down. I’m so, so sorry I asked what the soup was. That’s sarcasm, in case you couldn’t tell. I’ve been a VIP member for 4 years now, and it’s starting to feel like you’re getting a bit too big for your boots.One staff in particular seemed to be having the worst day of his life, slamming menus down on the table, rolling his eyes, even ignoring questions. I tried to order a dish that was unavailable - instead of just telling me normally, he went “didn’t you see the sign outside?” Let’s be clear here: the only place where this information was written was on a 14pt font size A4 printout on the first table of the restaurant area. Nowhere on the menu did it say this, although when I came 2 weeks ago it was crossed off on the menu. So I’m sorry I assumed it was back in stock, and I’m clearly in the wrong for not reading your tiny paper.He then decided to speak in slow, mocking Mandarin, although none of the other staff had any problem with my Cantonese. Yes, my Cantonese is accented, but my first language is English. Surprise, not all your customers are HKers! Be more open minded. Isn’t the whole brand about being progressive, kind, and caring?
