Made an appointment for a birthday celebration a week before and requested online for a table with view. And they managed to give us that. The restaurant was very spacious and each table was quite private - very awesome. Definitely has fine dining vibes. It was very comfortable to dine.The sashimi was expectedly very fresh. We also ordered 3 interesting side dishes. Tofu marinated with miso, radish with roe and uni, sea bream intestines with ricotta cheese.
My partner liked the radish the most while I like the tofu. The tofu dish was on the sweeter side.
Ark shell sashimi is decent, portion is a bit on the smaller/skinnier side.
We also ordered a bottle of sake - pretty good. Supposedly an autumn limited edition. This one has a sweeter taste to it. Which suits me perfectly fine.
Mackerel sashimi and we were offered the option to cook the leftover body (usual practice). We preferred horse mackerel sashimi to this.
Loved this! Would definitely order this in our next visit. The uni was very good. It was sweet, fresh and had none of the weird taste (if you know what I mean??).

This was comforting to eat, as with all warm soups.
After the sashimi, the warm chicken soup came as a blessing. Very comforting. And it doesn't have MSG taste.
I must say the service is so attentive!
As I didn't see a cake was available in the dessert menu, I did not think to request a birthday message. But the service staff surprised us all when they served the creme Brulé with the message! And they even have a musical box playing the birthday song. How sweet! I'm really impressed by the attentiveness and also the knowledge of the menu from experienced servers.
