Splendidly Average, sub par service

I was bumbling around Tai Wai a few weeks back when I stumbled across this cafe/restaurant. The decor was nice, as was the vibe but it was quite cramped. I ordered a pasta dish and a coffee, which exact dish has slipped my mind now. After a short wait, my food and drink arrived. As I prodded my dish, I noticed a rather large white eyesore which turned out to be a piece of polystyrene in my pasta. I immediately called the nearest available serving staff, a young lady. I was bumbling around Tai Wai a few weeks back when I stumbled across this cafe/restaurant. The decor was nice, as was the vibe but it was quite cramped. I ordered a pasta dish and a coffee, which exact dish has slipped my mind now. After a short wait, my food and drink arrived. As I prodded my dish, I noticed a rather large white eyesore which turned out to be a piece of polystyrene in my pasta. I immediately called the nearest available serving staff, a young lady. She took one glance and nonchalantly replied 'I'll let the kitchen staff know so it doesn’t happen again' then walked away. I was left there to pick out that piece of plastic myself, with no real apology nor compensation. I dined quietly and swiftly left the restaurant, vowing never to return. 

Overall though I think the taste was okay. Coffee was okay also, everything was splendidly average. Service was sub par.
