My friends and I didn't have to wait for a table despite arriving at the restaurant with no booking, not to mention it was a Saturday night and around 7:30pm. After sitting down, we were promptly given water and a menu. Our waiter's English was good, took our orders down without any trouble and was a polite server. To our surprise, our first dish arrived within about 6 minutes of us ordering it.We ordered the following dishes: duck in green curry, spicy salt squid, pork fried rice, water spinach

We ordered the following dishes: duck in green curry, spicy salt squid, pork fried rice, water spinach in garlic, prawn cakes. Bearing in mind there were three of us, there was A LOT of food. Great quantities for the price we paid. There was no dish that was a disappointment. We all really liked everything, especially the duck curry. We all eat quite a lot of Thai food and this was quite authentic.
When we went to pay, the lady behind the counter was very chatty which added to our pleasant experience at Sawadee Thai Restaurant. We will definitely be coming back here to sample more dishes.
Great service, great food and a great restaurant to try if you are in the area.
