This used to be my favourite Indian restaurant and coming from the Uk , I’m a fan of Indian cuisine. However we went last year and used a Groupon coupon thinking it would be a bargain but only found the portion of the food had minimise a lot. The food seem tasteless and despite the Groupon offer the place was only half full. This year I wanted to try it agin and to see if any improvements had been made. Well, the inside decor had slightly been upgraded and look nicer, the staff as always were p
We went on a Saturday night and the place only had 3-4 tables occupied which made me worried again.
And again the food was tasteless and bland. My favourite dish of all, the Briyani rice didn’t have the herb taste and was just a lot of oil, the masala wasn’t spicy and seemed watered down and the naan bread was so oily that it flopped on my plate. Not to mention the dishes again were very small. It breaks my heart but this will no longer be restaurant that I can rely on.
My only hope is that they get a better chef and then maybe I’ll be back.
