Came here for dinner with a craving for American food. Luckily came at 7pm and still got a table without wait on a Saturday night! The restaurant has nice American feel to it, with some booths and some tables and the desserts displayed in the middle of the restaurant on a table that separated the areas quite nicely.Food: Classic burger: Added portabello mushrooms for extra $10. Classic burger: Added portabello mushrooms for extra $10. The meat came medium cooked and very very tasty! One of the pluses is that you can actually fit the burger in your mouth...so the size is perfect, I hate having to cut it in pieces or having stuff fall out. The portabello mushrooms ended up diced, I would've preferred a big giant mushroom, but the mushrooms addition was nice. Also came with the classic sesame hamburger bun.
Onion rings: SO GOOD Finally, a place that gets it right! They were real onions deep fried, not like some onion mush, but the actual onion - made to order! Big recommend!
Australian wagyu burger: I split with my friend, so I had half of this as well. Um, its more expensive than the classic burger, but honestly I could not taste any difference.....although this was tasty as well.... I'd stick with classic since the taste didn't scream that it was made from special wagyu beef....
Waffle fries: this was also yummy, just as good as Freshness Burger's waffle fries. However, I did wish they put a more special twist to the fries, like using some garlic salt or some type of cajun flavoring (like Popeye's)?
Service: Very good service, the food came very fast! although our waiter kept saying "apologies for the wait" ...when we didn't have to wait....haha.
Sizing it up: I like the space and decor way better than some other small burger joints (Burgeroom in CWB is tasty too, but space is small). The menu is limited to the classics like burgers, fries, and milkshakes and some variety of drinks and desserts. This is comparing to Burgeroom's mix of burgers from seafood to foie gras. Overall good burger joint, would def come again if in the TST area.
