Don't let the unassuming entrance fool you, this spacious hangout brimming with rustic charm is the kind of place where great brews and good vibes come together
The award-winning local nano brewery was established 5 years ago when the founder returned to HK and was shocked by the city of “living zombies”, so he set out to craft innovative beer flavors that would help people unwind and destress
Every Friday from 6pm to midnight, they open up their office/factory/event space for a beer tour and FREE FLOW craft beer tasting session for just HKD 300. During these 6 hours, you can also order takeaway food, play snooker/ board games or just kick back and chill. We were blown away by the beer tour, as we got an insider’s look at the entire brewing process (most of the magic still has that human touch), and even ventured into the cold room to see where the finished brews are stored
They have 6 core beer flavors, with 3 on tap the night we visited. All the flavors were super unique and easy-to-drink (~5% ABV), perfect for sampling a variety without feeling too tipsy. We especially loved hearing the inspiration and creative stories behind each product name and can design
- Dirty Pale Ale (New England IPA): definitely my fave beer of the night, super fresh with sweet citrusy notes
- 5000 Years (Pilsner): this was a mild, pure and very thirst-quenching brew (the story behind is that a mummy awakens after 5000 years and needed something refreshing to chug)
- Crazy Rabbits (Espresso Stout): we could smell the rich coffee aroma, but instead of a bitter cold brew taste, it surprised us with a delightful roasted charcoal flavor
- Party Duck (Dry Hopped Apple Cider): honestly never tasted anything quite like this, it was more like a dry champagne with crisp fruity notes
We also got to sample their new Monster and Robots series, which are canned cocktails with zero sugar and low calorie
- Dazed and Confused (Vodka Lemon Tea): tbh i’m not a huge lemon tea fan, but this was so good that I literally couldn’t stop sipping it, the best part is that it’s not bitter at all
- Happy Camper (Mojito): a refreshing twist on the minty classic
They’re always shaking things up with a brand new flavor each month, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll whip up next
