There is no doubt that the pan fried beef bun in this place is the absolute winner of all beef based pastry in the world. The bun comes straight out of the kitchen, the bun surface is crispy on your first bite. Be very careful - the soup inside the bun is of extreme heat. One deserves a medal for trying to swallow a bit of freshly made bun. You just cannot have enough of this bun. The rest of the menu is interesting as it is a mix of Northeastern Chinese food and also local cha chaan tang dishes

The rest of the menu is interesting as it is a mix of Northeastern Chinese food and also local cha chaan tang dishes.

We had the chicken and wonton casserole, deep fried boneless lamp chops, beef brisket curry with rice and also braised tofu with shrimp roes. The quality of the food is very good.

The skin of the boneless lamp chop was also very crispy and the meat was tender. The curry was very spicy but in a good way - very flavourful - definitely needed more rice. The tofu was okay.

One thing I didn’t like was that the wonton contained coriander.
