This is one of the few places at Shatin where you could enjoy alfresco dining with a view (granted, there are provisions for indoor seating here, but why come here in the first place if you do not want the alfresco option ?). With not too many options on the menu, my wife ordered the risotto with shrimps and scallop served with tomato sauce, while I decided to go for an unusual and interesting item, the Wiener Schnitzel (deep fried veal cutlet). Th risotto arrived steaming hot, and with fresh ingredients and rice cooked just right giving it a chewy texture, it was actually quite delicious and enjoyable; the Wiener Schnitzel was a pleasant surprise indeed, as it was cooked in Austrian - Hungarian style (the so-called Cordon bleu variant), with 2 slices of the Schnitzel being wrapped around a ham and cheese, somewhat like a sandwich in design; and the taste was unexpectedly good too, with cripsy skins and the "fillings" giving an interesting texture and taste to the dish

And we ended up quite full so we need to forgo desserts for this time. Price was not particularly expensive. Service however could be improved, as the waitors seemed not very attentive at times. Seating was spacious - perfect for spending a quiet night with loved ones. Overall, we think that this is quite an interesting dining place in the Shatin area, and would recommend a try if you happen to be in the area.
