于中环上班,午餐往往走到上环,为的只是更多选择,更大众化的价钱。年尾饭局、消费特别多,所以午饭还是节省一点好了,同事提议到ZOO,说价钱合理,质素不俗。沿住苏杭街走进去,差点过门而不入,原来ZOO是一间酒吧(我以为是餐厅)😅晚上的酒吧,下午摇身一变提供午市套餐,所以店内都是高桌座椅,灯光幽暗。店家提供set lunch,有三款可供选择,分别是白汁长通粉/肉酱意粉/意大利饭,再选配料,价钱按其而订。清淡的话有沙律可供选择。set lunch 配有饮料/餐汤,亦可加钱转酒类。 天气冷,选了餐汤,是日餐汤是薯仔汤,味道略咸,不太特别,但薯仔煮得够软身。一向钟情意大利饭的我,主菜选了 mushroom risotto + 香煎鸡腿。risotto 份量颇多,酱汁味道浓郁,亦带有杂菌香味,但质地偏湿,米亦偏硬。反而煎鸡带有惊喜,一来份量,不是只有三数块,只是一大堆。鸡腿即叫即煎,煎得非常可口,鸡皮香脆的同时保留了肉汁。

My colleague and I planned to lunch at Pizzahut as my friend wanted to have some sea food, but had to wait for table. So we were wandering around to see if there were other options. And the orange lanterns in the front door caught our attention. Guess they are doing halloween promo with blue girl.Of course we were not at all stunned to see the all dark and black environment, given that it's a bar anyways. The lunch menu to be honest was a bit hard to understand on how to order, as no clear instructions were shown and we felt there were too many options or combinations but in fact it was either salad with protein or pasta/risotto with protein.I ordered Grilled Corn Risotto with Garden Steak, which was chicken steak to be accurate. And my friend ordered Penne with Scallops.The risotto was too large the portion, so it very quickly made me feel a little greasy. Or perhaps they should serve more chicken to balance the risotto or cut back the risotto; I'd suggest the former hahah. The chicken was very good, chewy, juciy, and grilled to the very right level. What made it even better was that they put wine in it while cooking the chicken. The wine effused slowly as I masticated the meat, somehow encouraging my appetite and soothing my stress from work. I tasted my friend's penne, and suddenly I regret not ordering this. The sauce was perfect for me, and the penne was not soft in texture which was my favourate way of cooking penne. I'll definitely try penne with chicken next time.Overall, this is a great dining place worth visiting for lunch for the second time, even though it's a bar.

晚上的ZOO是上环区著名的酒吧,而午膳时间则提供set lunch。餐厅内的座位全都是高座位设计,环境偏暗,四周的设备都是暗黑为主,有一种神秘的感觉。set lunch先选择扁意粉/长通粉/烩饭。三款各有特色,我选了海鲜忌廉汁长通粉,配烟鸭胸。烟鸭胸不是只有两、三块的,这里暗黑中还是看到有7-8块之多,足料,绝不欺场。味道是有点浓味的,煎得香口。长通粉煮得不会太硬身/软身,适中。海鲜忌廉汁自家制的,但味道相比烟鸭胸就属于淡味了,满口都是香口烟鸭胸的味道,忌廉汁就不太配合。这个是杂菜汤,与一般罗宋汤很不一样。这个是清淡很多的,饮不出有肉味,纯粹青豆,粟米,菜粒,而整体是稀的,有如中汤的质感,多一点黑胡椒。

上环区食肆林立, 但对附近上班族, 选择永不会慊多. 位于苏杭街的酒吧老板籍此发现商机, 在酒吧开设午市套餐.一个星期五, 天气酷热, 却难得忙里偷闲, 食个长lunch. 经过这熟识的酒吧, 有午餐供应, 决意一试.于上环吃午饭, 等候时间往往比进食时间长, 上班族都 ’被’ 习惯了速食文化, 况且地方浅窄, 完事就闪. 难得此所饭堂坐位宽敞, 灯光柔和, 单以环境已别附近食肆. 午餐主要以pasta 为主, 亦有Caesar salad 给健康一族. 所有pasta汁料皆自家制, 看来款式会随季节改变.我选了白酒蘑菇汁带子伴螺旋粉, 加side salad, 再加钱将餐茶升级做餐酒. 天气炎炎, 一口白酒, 解暑一流. 环顾四周, 厨师就是酒吧老板, 事事亲力亲为, 虽然只是在酒吧上搭建的煮食台, 却一应俱全.午餐到, 卖相不错, 有亲和力, 用rustic来形容最适合不过. 材料选用新鲜杂菌, 菌香扑鼻. 带子鲜嫩, 唯只得两颗, 有点意犹未尽. 不得不提那片伴碟的crostini, 松脆香口, 如果有得散叫, 我一定会停不了. 整碟pasta看似轻量级, 实际份量不少. 整体味道有水准, 唯独蘑菇汁较稀, 未能黏上pasta上, 导致偶尔淡而无味. 价钱相宜, $100 有pasta , salad, 饮wine, 在上环一带并无他选. 加上服务员态度有善, 食完仲可以坐阵, 在上班区食肆实在难求. 下次在上环区办事, 有时间歇一歇, 松一松, 食个lunch, 此处是必然之选.
