I am a Mira member, but haven't visited Whisk for couple months.  The new menu has fewer choices and the food was a bit disappointing.  Foie gras starter was good. I don't eat fish and they were kind enough to change the starter to  scallop. Unfortunately it was just way too salty.  The main course pork was so-so.  My friend's Abalone and Wagu beef was overcooked (not medium as requested).  The passionfruit ice cream was too sour and the combination with bread was strange.  Overall I think the food was quite a set back from before.  As a member, I got 25% off .  I won't complain about the prices.  However,  don't think the food would attract me to go again.  Environment and services are good though. 继续阅读

It’s the last day of Restaurant Week HK Spring 2021! And this was one of my more highly anticipated restaurants to try out. I wanted to book this place last year, but it was fully booked. So I count down the minutes in hopes to get a booking this time around. And I did! Overall, I thought the service and restaurant was beautiful. However, the food did not really “blow my mind.” Not sure if it’s because I had high expectations, but the highlight of the whole meal was the seaweed butter that came with the bread. The wagyu beef was a bit chewy, and the beef was not really cooked to medium as I requested. I do have one tip if you are going to try out this restaurant. The chefs put these pairings for a reason, and I would try eating all the different ingredients at once. It does make a difference!!! Overall, I’m glad I was able to try this place out, but I’m not sure if I am willing to pay the regular price for these items. 继续阅读

法日fusion WHISK位於The Mira美丽华酒店,餐厅装潢雅致,虽然唔算特别靓,但胜在楼底高,枱与枱之间有一定距离,空间感十足。重点系服务一流,法日料理相当崭新。今次就适逢Restaurant Week嚟到访!只需要透过Dining City嘅app嚟book位,再用汇丰信用卡埋单,就可以以优惠价品嚐到超过200间餐厅嘅美食。做到4月11号咋,虽然迟啲都会有Winner’s Edition。⁣⠀HK Restaurant Week Spring 20217-course Dinner Elite $5981️⃣Amuse Bouche非常之惊吓嘅第一道。食完第一啖真系皱晒眉头。蛋非常滑溜,但面层嘅清汤偏咸同酸,好似有阵酸味,个人就唔太锺意。Caviar嘅存在感亦偏低。另外亦有爽脆嘅玉米荀,调味恰到好处,正常发挥。2️⃣Foie Gras 焦糖炖鸭肝 苹果食完第二道继续皱眉,一度以为佢今次既menu唔太啱我口味。焦糖炖鸭肝嘅焦糖脆面好靓!不过好似有啲厚薄不一,焦糖太厚既地方有啲痴牙、唔太脆,甜度好高,完全盖过鸭肝嘅香气。而焦糖脆面薄啲嘅位置,焦糖嘅甜味同鸭肝嘅香气相对balance啲。底层嘅炖鸭肝 质地有啲似老左嘅炖蛋,食落无乜咸香味,令整体感觉偏甜。旁边就有一个冰镇苹果,卖相唔错,真系以苹果作器皿。不过食落就好普通,就系裹满沙律酱嘅苹果,胜在苹果够晒爽甜。但系我真系唔锺意食沙律酱。3️⃣Hakata Jidori 博多地鸡 鸡白汤上菜嘅时候,店员会即场倒入鸡白汤至米饭当中。鸡白汤味道相当特别,完全系carbonara版嘅鸡汤!成个感觉好似泡饭,但系米饭质地唔会好似平时个啲咁软绵,反而系偏硬身带咬口,几锺意呢个口感。碗上面有一串鸡肉串烧,外层非常香脆,博多地鸡肉质嫩滑,香辣微酸好惹味!仲可以点埋带红椒香气既酱汁~4️⃣Soja Bread 清酒 酱油面包好神奇地面包竟然会系第四个course先上。Anyway,系连续两道好少见又惊喜嘅菜式!面包以清酒作烘烤,闻落去阵阵米香,食落真系有淡淡清酒香!面包外皮偏厚身,超!香!脆!食落同饭焦有几分相似。果然系酱油面包,咸香味越咬越岀,涂上旁边超香嘅牛油,可以平衡面包嘅咸香,不过我就锺意就咁食个面包多啲啦。特别锺意面包嘅质地,烟韧有弹性!质地真系有啲似外脆内弹嘅canelé。5️⃣Turbot fish 比目鱼 甜豌豆 黑蒜系比较清淡嘅一道~ 比目鱼肉质较为紮实,火喉啱啱好够晒滑,完全唔腥。黑蒜同甜豌豆嘅配搭 令菜式入口有些微甜酸味,特别锺意爽脆、带天然甜味嘅甜豌豆。而最底就有带咸味嘅菠菜。6️⃣Lavender Duck // Wagyu, Abalone +$120Wagyu, Abalone 和牛 鲍鱼 +$120建议大家唔洗加$120转和牛和牛属於比较有咬口个种,肉质唔太软腍,油脂感低,牛味偏淡。边边位带焦香,但有少少筋。旁边既酱汁系加左黑松露嘅烧汁,不过点落又唔系好品嚐到黑松露嘅香气。鲍鱼相对较为岀色,爽弹入味。Lavender Duck 薰衣草 烤鸭 川椒简直系有史以嚟食过最滑嘅鸭!滑得嚟有弹性!鸭肉呈粉嫩嘅红色,鸭味香浓无腥味,估唔到同柔和嘅薰衣草咁夹!入口甜甜地,带些微川椒嘅香气,但食落完全唔辣!旁边就配左两款酱汁,两款都偏酸,可以中和鸭肉嘅油脂感。不过我就觉得唔点酱正啲。7️⃣Chocolate Temptation // Fromage, Truffle +$60Fromage, Truffle 法国芝士 松露 +$60法国软芝士camembert温热软滑带奶香,咸香亦挺突岀,就咁食已经好正!而另一旧圆軲辘既竟然系松露雪糕,估唔到松露味都几香,甜甜地完全唔咸!不过将两样mix埋一齐食 质地一啲都唔夹 (其实正常系咪唔会一齐食?!) 分开食就两样都好邪恶好满足。Chocolate Temptation 香蕉 朱古力 核桃最顶层嘅朱古力雪糕 好香橙酒!底下就舖左核桃蛋糕同焦糖香蕉。核桃蛋糕湿润软绵,甜度恰到好处。焦糖香蕉甜甜地,但竟有无焦糖脆皮。连装饰既朱古力都好高质!系香浓嘅黑朱古力!加埋一齐食层次挺丰富~用餐体验相当唔错,店员细心、非常乐於讲解每道菜式。食材与配搭上花咗唔少心思,每一道都系味蕾上既冲击,鸡白汤、酱油面包、薰衣草烤鸭都几有惊喜。不过偶有一两道唔太啱口味,成餐饭食到好似坐紧过山车咁。Overall嚟讲,都算值得一试!因为完全唔系一般平时食到嘅味道,几乎每碟都会食到嗯~岀声 (um不过有两碟系皱眉既嗯~)。同埋店员比人感觉相当专业同caring! 继续阅读

疫情期间,各大酒店都会推出不同的优惠,较早前买了coupon,以半价可以品嚐八道菜的师傅发板。环境不错,很有浪漫感觉,适合情侣进餐。虽然我和几个闺蜜用餐,也是另一种体会。法式手法烹调,用心制作,我每道菜除了品味外,还可以观赏,上枱时都会有惊喜。令我最深刻,就是帆立贝,放在一个扇贝壳内,恍如一个镜盒,触发起我的少女心!整体食物质素都很高,没有将价就货。诚意推介给情侣、记念日或准备求婚的男士,因为每款菜式都切计用心,让一众女士都感到非常浪漫,预祝成功! 继续阅读
