Meat the Sea is a grocery cum seafood bar on Hollywood Road in Sheung Wan. I have walked pass it so many times, but never realized it serves great lunch set!A 3-course lunch is only HKD$128 up, and the portion was very generous indeed!This bowl of Lobster soup looked like an ordinary bowl of soup, but there were so many different types of fresh seafood in it! Scallops, salmon, shrimps, mussels, etc. Very, very filling and satisfying indeed! But the soup was more on the savory side.This plate of mussels was great. Absolutely love the white wine, tomato and chorizo dressing. But my friend and I chocked on it at different times of the meal, probably because of some garlic/onion/ pepper. The mussels were very fresh and meaty.The Chocolate Mousse and Cake was off menu, as the one we wanted on the menu was not ready yet. This one was surprisingly yummy! The chocolate mousse was so rich and smooth. The cake was so dense and moist. What I love best is the shredded chocolate and nuts. Nom nom, absolutely amazing!Highly recommend Meat the Sea to you.

中上环真系有好多好野食需要慢慢被发掘😆呢到集食材店及餐厅于一身，下面专卖空运欧洲食材，而上面就系充满欧陆风情嘅餐厅😋荷兰生蚝 （$38/1）生蚝肉质饱满，质感偏爽口，而且海水味浓😋🦪龙虾海鲜汤（$95）龙虾汤鲜味十足🥰 龙虾味好突出🦞除左龙虾肉外，个汤仲加左唔同既海鲜，丰富足料😋芝士黑松露阔扁面（$188）阔条面非常挂汁🤩每一啖都系浓浓既忌廉香，意粉酱相当浓稠，不过后尾食落有啲腻～原条鲈鱼 ($288)鲈鱼外皮煎得非常香脆🤤鱼肉滑嫰且充满弹性，加埋柠檬汁令鲜味更突出！迷你荷兰小班戟（$98）班戟切到细细块好得意😆 小班戟搭配香橙同埋雪糕，食落都几夹！-The Seafood Bar - Meat the Sea (上环)📍上环荷李活道108号聚贤居地下D号舖

楼下系市场 楼上系餐厅楼上餐厅面积唔大所以用咗高枱设计我哋𠮶晚坐正开放式厨房嘅位置可以睇住厨师们为我哋准备菜式餐厅选用优质高级食材食完饭仲可以行吓个Market先走呢▫️Creuses Oyster Holland (HKD38/ pc) - 我哋叫呢个系small size, 餐厅仲有提供唔同款嘅蚝类㗎，都系逐只计价钱。新鲜生蚝系呢间餐厅受欢迎菜式之一，质素果然冇另我哋失望。▫️Lobster Soup with All Kinds of Fish and Seafood (HKD95) - 极力推介，个龙虾汤本身好好饮，鲜味好重。仲要加埋咁多款海鲜落去就更加好味啊。饮完之后觉得几”漏”，仲要留肚食其他食物嘅话每人叫呢个细size啱啱好。▫️Whole Sea Bream 500 grams (HKD288) - 食西餐好少原条鱼上，菜式以鱼柳居多。西式版清蒸鲷鱼，只要洒啲柠檬汁就已经带出鱼嘅鲜味喇。▫️Tagliatelle with Aged Gouda Cheese, Mushroom, Black Truffle and Rocket Salad (HKD188) - 自家制阔条面，每日新鲜制造。款式只有三种，但每一款都系厨师嘅精心制作。▫️Dutch Small Pancakes with Orange, served with Vanilla Ice-cream (HKD98) - Pancake细细粒唔洗自己切😆充满浓厚嘅橙味，加埋雪糕食间直系一流啦😋😋餐厅座位唔多，我建议大家订咗枱先好去呀！

the quality of the seafood was poor. the mussels were not fresh and many were not edible (shell was closed). We were also told there was no chips eventhough the people next to and behind us (who came later) were given chips. Instead we were given vegetables which did not go with the meal. It was a let down. Would not recommend to visit as besides the food, the restaurant area was small and the staff had attitude.

Unknowingly stumbling along the street to discover a beautifully coloured store reminding me of the small Italian town in “Luca”, the blue colours initially attracted me and the oyster happy hour caught me in their net. Discovering a restaurant on the second floor, we had to book and try it out seduced by the smell of fresh seafood. Although a fairly Compact space, it was exposed to all the open-ness of the supermarket, akin to the big sea by the shore. The food did not disappoint and was incredible value for money and we even got to try their very limited seasonal white asparagus. My girlfriend, apparently a chip expert, exclaims this to be one of the best. Do not miss out on the experience
