I bought a Beecrazy deal for this restaurant and decided to try it out. The deal was for $58, you get a choice of soup curry with rice and a drink or dessert. Boyfriend and I chose one drink and one dessert to try out this place.Located in Kennedy Town, this is the second restaurant in Hong Kong that features soup curry. The first restaurant that had this version of curry was Sama that is located on Gough Street. Sama originates from Sapporo, Japan and is REALLY good. Seriously, REALLY good. Samurai Soup Curry is not from Japan, but from Hong Kong where the owner is French.The shop is very narrow. It's decorated with cartoons of samurai.Menu is very similar to Sama except Sama rates their curry spiciness as bears, Samurai  Soup Curry rates theirs as samurais. Menu is in English, Chinese and Japanese. You basically chose the broth, how spicy and what you want in your curry.Seafood Combo Soup Curry in Coconut Broth. Boyfriend chose the seafood combo in a coconut broth with a spicy level of adult samurai. He ordered something similar at Sama. There was clear difference between the soup curry here and at Sama. The broth was clearly not as thick as Sama's coconut broth. It wasn't as fragrant with coconut and tasted a bit watered down. The seafood was a couple of prawn and some squid pieces. Prawn wasn't very fresh tasting. Vegetables included lettuce, green beans and tomato. There was also a hard boiled egg.Roasted Chicken Leg Soup Curry in Crab Broth. This is the same thing I ordered at Sama but this was clearlh not as good. The soup was very watery and there wasn't much crab flavor. I chose spicy level of baby samurai and it wasn't spicy at all. The curry was very one dimensional. Wasn't fragrant at all. The chicken leg was a bit dry and tough as if it was over cooked. The vegetables were soggy and bland. The hard boiled egg was over done as well.Both sets came with tumeric rice. Though portion size for the rice is larger than Sama's portion size, the rice given here was dry and hard.Mango Lassi. Our Beecrazy deal could choose one drink so I chose a mango lassi. This was not very good as well. Not very mango in taste and a bit watered down. Was not thick at all.Runny Mango Pudding with Sweet Potato Cream. A dessert could be chosen with the other Beecrazy voucher we bought. We chose this to share. Generally, I love jelly or anything that is jelly in texture. But this was horrible. It was so horrible, I couldn't finish it. And I ALWAYS finish jelly. It was grainy in texture. There wasn't much mango taste. Combined with the sweet potato cream, this made it worse as it was one starchy mess. It tasted so horrible, I almost gagged.Service was top notch as very friendly. The staff was eager to please and that is a rarity in Hong Kong. It's too bad the food was so horrible. I think if I had not tried Sama, I would have thought .. eh .. ok, but won't return. But since I have tried Sama, this is a poor attempt and would not return and not even recommend it to anyone. 继续阅读

星期日 , 因在大学忙功课 , 所以人在西环 . 饿了 , 就到附近晚饭 , 想起厚和街有家咖喱汤 , 于是去了试试 .  此店的主力是咖喱汤 . 看看餐牌 , 我们先选择汤底 , 再选辣度 , 然后选主菜 .通常试食咖喱都会选吾辣 / 最小辣 , 一来可试清楚辣味以外的其他味道 , 二来如果好味 , 下次同女友再来时 , 可点一辣一吾辣 , 既可比较两者味道 , 又可令爱吃咖喱但又不爱辣的女友食得放心 , 实在一举两得 .是日点了虾汤底 ( 主厨推介 ) , 吾辣 ( 伪武士 ) , 主菜系自家制羊肉 . 另附送黄姜饭 .先来一口咖喱汤 , 虾汤底虽然鲜味 OK , 但不够浓 . 大致上不过不失吧 . 再来配菜 , 什菜同咖喱汤反而好夹 , 清甜之余又有咖喱汤味 , 相信在加辣时能起中和作用 . 主菜系羊肉饼 , 味够浓 , 而且肉汁适中 , 口感良好 , 在此给一个赞 . 黄姜饭味有点淡 , 加咖喱汤一起食会较好 . 套餐加 $20 元可点自家制印度奶昔 , 正是我的最爱 . 于是点了芒果味 . 味道不错 , 口感可再软滑一点 . 整体 OK 但不如正宗的印度奶昔好 . 自家制印度奶昔另设其他口味 , 我打算下次试印度奶茶味 .最后来个甜品 , 来个招牌流心芒果布甸配浓郁甜薯忌廉 . 虽然卖相不如味道好 , 但食落真系好得 . 甜薯忌廉加芒果布甸同脆脆配合得天衣无缝 , 口感香甜软滑之余 , 脆脆又能满足咬口 . 在此强烈推介 .埋单时亦有惊喜 . 老板娘在手写单上画了个卡通 , 心思十足 . 如此的贴心程度相信只有小店才能做到 . 一个赞 . 整体而言 , 此店值得一试 . 继续阅读

是日家姐买左团购邀请我一齐食店面唔算太难揾, 地铁出行5至10分钟就到店员态度唔错, 几nice几有礼貌我点左椰汁猪肉咖哩同士多啤梨smoothie家姐点左虾味鸡髀咖哩同芒果smoothie个椰汁咖哩系无椰汁亦无咖哩味嘅个饭煮得好湿家姐个虾咖哩就正正常常咖哩味, 都唔觉有虾嘅鲜味芒果smoothie中规中矩 士多啤梨就得个酸字总括而言, 如果唔系团购点都唔会黎试, 咁我唔排除系自己唔识拣, 佢其他嘢好食啲。但一间餐厅如果质素参差成咁都好极有限啦 继续阅读

香港上环坚尼地城厚和街28号地下D舖(+852) 65731356「人若变记忆便迷人,情令眼浅了便情深 ,认识一场 ,如雷雨一闪 ,就此没有下文 ,无憾也觉得是遗憾.」老外多半对武士很有一种无形的爱好,法国大厨主理的Samurai の Soup Curry,位于坚尼地城,有地铁,自然甚么东西都方便去了..我相信法国大厨对武士很有偏好,从招牌到餐单,全都是武士.店内装潢算是简约.,以黄色咖哩做主调,鲜明又吸引.平日经常吃「咖哩」当然很耳熟能详,但是「汤咖哩」到底是甚么?其实「汤咖哩」是日式咖哩的变奏,添加了椰奶,也揉合了印度及东南亚的多种咖哩文化.北海道札幌风格的「汤咖哩」,比较稀.不会配乌冬或面条,只,能,配,白,饭.这是就是「北海道札幌风格汤咖哩」!!「其实你已经是闲人, 其实我讨厌被怜悯, 或者一时 ,疲劳到伤身, 弱得, 像个病人, 才像要找个肩膊枕一枕.」点餐流程:餐点一共有3个步骤。 步骤一,选择汤底,有鲜茄,椰奶和蟹。 步骤二,选择辣度.步骤三,挑选鸡肉,猪肉,羊肉,海鲜等「北海道札幌风格汤咖哩」的气味相当浓烈!特盛海鲜串烧是比较淡口的,因为咖哩已经相当浓味了!我挑了中级武士辣,已经辣到喷火!我几乎没有用「汤咖哩」拌饭吃,因为实在太辣,只能够好好的吃配料!一个「汤咖哩」里面的配料真多,有南瓜,茄子,薯仔,生菜,西兰花,蕃茄,香草蛋,等,还有很多不知名的秋葵,红萝卜,白萝卜!根本吃过光了所有配料,你已经饱了八成.配料真的好多,吸收了「汤咖哩」味道,所有蔬菜都好好吃,好入味.特别推介--看上去很丑,可是我很好吃,就是加hkd$58元的风味芥辣薯仔沙律!这个我称之为「看上去很丑,可是我很好吃」,里面的芥辣薯仔真的好吃到一个点.薯仔不会有炼奶阻著,只有香香的蛋黄酱,以及一点点芥辣.感觉真的不错!软软的又带点香甜的味道.因为太辣了,点了一杯草莓lassi,平日只会在印度餐厅喝到的lassi,出现在日本餐厅.妈啊,好乱呀.不过不要紧,fusion菜嘛,也没有甚么大问题.反正草莓lassi是真草莓l打成的,加入全脂乳酪和牛奶,解辣是常识好吗.「含泪去葬花极麻烦,唯独怨泣血没时间,或者失意, 是为了工作,恸哭未够浪漫,才暂借恋爱感觉去感叹.」甜品挑选了绿茶布甸配红荳忌廉!绿茶布甸偏软身,不过整个绿茶布甸都是非常好吃的说.绿茶布甸,绿茶味很浓郁呀!绿茶布甸是一砖滑滑的豆腐似的甜点,不会太甜,红荳忌廉不打得太企身,反而偏软.我觉得整个 甜点都很突出,很有风味的说.「难忘你,好听过若无其事没韵味,你真人,其实陌生得可以记不起,我本人,宁愿为加班筋歇力疲.」或者,应该亲口请你,快走了,好走了,让我知道.吃掉了神奇的「汤咖哩」.我发现,我喜欢这种稀身的「汤咖哩」这是就是「北海道札幌风格汤咖哩」令人著迷 继续阅读

我系日本、台湾同香港都食过多间以汤咖喱为主题的餐厅,唔系话要同日本去比较,但作为汤咖喱,真心觉得Samurai的水平离正常还差很远很远在日本,汤咖喱系以汤底可饮加多菜少肉为主的,但Samurai的汤底味道太单一,好似只用清水加咖喱粉开出来似的,味道苦涩。此外蔬菜的处理方法就更加像例汤汤渣咁,霉霉烂烂,鸡腿用香草腌味本来应该要赞的,可惜系鸡腿系翻热过程中完全计算错误,鸡腿只有外皮微暖,肉身系冻冰冰的。最后系果碗声称用日本米煮的黄姜饭,唔明白点解会完全无任何味道再加上都系冻的?如果以以上的烹调技术来作为一盘生意,真系要所有食客味觉全失先可以继续经营落去。 继续阅读
