My friend and I both like the steak, very delicious. However, we experienced below and believe that there is room to improve. - when steak was served, only the gravy was brought to the table, but would be much better if the salt and pepper were also served, as well as the honey mustard or one to two more condiments. - for the Rex Burger, the meat was delicious, but given the price and the size, we both thought there should have cheese, lettuce, tomato to be put inside the burger. If for extra, better to have some more, like bacon, crab meat, etc, to make it more juicy and delicious. Frankly speaking, we are quite disappointed on the burger due to the price is high ($298) but only got the bread and the meat only. - for the sides, the potato puree was good, but the charred broccolini, the portion was very little and charged $128. We cannot find another word to describe the portion because if we used the chop sticks to dine, just grabbed them once. - when the fries came with the burger, how come there was no any ketchup to be served. It was totally disappointed. Basically, the steak was good, but the service and the portion of other food were disappointed, not worth with the price. And, as this is a steakhouse, would be great if all the steaks are dry aged and offer more choices from different countries/ranches. By the way, we ordered the 19oz rib eye, but my friend and I both do not believe we were served with 19oz. It was more like 15-16oz max. Frankly speaking, we are not sure if we will come again because there are many other top tier steakhouses in Central too. If the chef and the menu are replaced, please do let is know and we would consider to come to give another try. 呢间steakhouse开左几年名气依然,under OCTAVO Group集团旗下仲有几间出名西餐🍴,最近转左主厨以家由Chef Thomas Caro话事👨🏻‍🍳。行落basement之后就系以黑红色调为主嘅用餐区,感觉华丽🕯️,旁边嘅bar挂起LED灯而显得格外modern,环境宁静行fine dining路线🍴。Menu除左steak之外都有pasta burger🍔,唔少starters & snacks,价钱都好合理唔觉overpriced💰~ Steak分为两种,基本嘅 Australian cut 唔过千,另有speciality beef好似日本A5 Wagyu / dry aged 呢D就相对贵少少。1️⃣ Beef Tartare and Caviar $2782️⃣ Ribeye 350g $6883️⃣ Spaghetti alle Vongole $3584️⃣ Spinach $88 ; Broccolini $88 ; French Fries $88In short就系同想像中嘅一样😛,overall成个dining experience同食物质素同价钱成正比,值得一赞系佢地wine menu几extensive🍷,pair with steak nice 继续阅读

以前嚟食过一次系偏西班牙风多啲今次嚟谂住是先上网揾menu但揾品到嚟到先有机会睇个餐牌少失望等本猪贡献下!钟意食嘅crab cake/mushroom soup/bikini唔见哂反而变到好法式一问之下发现原来转咗法厨令成间餐厅风格变哂…咁唔紧要啦嚟到照食经理服务态度好好但系手下有待训练🥺当时全晚得我哋一枱客都俾错still/sparkling然后想order嘢系咁举手都冇人理Complimentary有包食剩谂住费事浪费takeaway埋俾个侍应质疑包都要拎…Grilled octopus口感偏靭个汁调味偏咸然后叫咗M9 tenderloin同USDA Rib cap虽然上碟冇大概切开show下有几粉两个都好好食 有肉味得嚟好腍只系可惜冇啲fancy seasoning朋友要salt/ mustard都要自己问Salt虽要本身有但跌哂落serving plate条坑😂要用挟肉个夹夹返出嚟lolPotato puree超好食应该就系薯蓉嘅极致 虽然内心知道系超劲牛油Sauteed mushroom 同 broccolini都ok最后叫咗两个甜品Crepe suzette同fondant虽然crepe系tableside表演flambe但现场侍应推完餐车出嚟粒声唔出自己喺度忙又冇点介绍另外心太软同时有心外软反而觉得个浆充斥住内外几好食临尾好rush咁讲庆生再次欣赏经理好落力满足客人! 继续阅读

唔使任性,我今次真系想同大家分享下呢家店啲料理,真系得嚟!先嚟个开胃汤,一啖香浓嘅欧芹核桃迷迭香汤,话哂都算清新。餐包同饭饼夹酱料嘅组合实在赞到不得了,啖啖香脆,起劲!吞拿鱼生鱼片略带烟熏味,有啲盖过鲜味,都算新鲜;但过到至牛肉他他就点解我嘅味蕾,酸菜酱料配上口感爽嫩嘅牛肉,再加散发骨髓香气嘅多士,正!🐷头批个名听落怕人,但食落其实蛮有层次,啲人觉得味道偏向中式,都几有趣味。薯片大件啲嘢,咬落无惊喜,温温地,希望佢哋改善下。龙虾芝士通心粉真系犀利,龙虾鲜美,一试过瘾!🧀必须提嘅系意大利西冷,喺所有肉中味道最浓,肉质最够哂口感;西班牙肋骨就辣手,有啲过实,带点闷气,唔啱我胃口。总括嚟讲,大部分嘢都系一流,一啲都唔做作,绝对值得推介嚟个过瘾食游!👍 继续阅读

得知前Henry 前主厨嚟咗中环REX,相约buddy 来中环撑枱脚,呢间餐厅位于One Chinachem嘅Basement - 《REX Wine & Grill》,呢度主要系食佢哋出名嘅Steak 🥩🔶3-course Lunch Set $540/person🔶🔶Appetiser:🔸Breads 🥖with Seaweed cod roe butter sauce / 紫菜鳕鱼子牛油酱🧈牛油酱好香紫菜味,真系食到鱼子味好特别,配柔软嘅餐包🥖🔸Ham & Truffles Toasts🥪Cured Beef Ham, Fried Quail Eggs黑松露火腿鹌鹑蛋多士 ,多士烘得焦香,但有少少油腻,里面嘅黑松露火腿芝士好好味😋🔸Burrata and Japanese Fruit 🍅 Fennel Dressing, Oliver Oil布拉塔芝士🧀茴香酱配日本蕃茄🔶Main🔸Butcher’s Cut 🥩Brandt USDA Prime Smoked Flat Iron Steak, Soy & Ginger, Marinade 180g先把主菜送上餐枱,我哋已经闻到好香嘅烟熏味道,我哋咗medium Rare,牛扒切开见到中间呈嫩粉红色,牛扒质素几高,牛味浓郁牛脂香口,略嫌调味咸咗少少,还有蕃茄干伴碟给两款酱汁,配上pepper sauce 薯条一齐食👍🏻🔸Tenderloin, Little Joe Holstein 180g +$100 🥩呢款牛扒一样grill得好香,肉质亦做得好软谂,可惜唔够嫩,有少少根,个人觉得前款牛扒比较好食,配上truffle & Parmesan薯条一齐食🔶Dessert 🔸Fig Tart, Almond, Chantilly cream杏仁无花果蛋糕,味道不太明显,呢款甜品冇乜特别🔸Dark Chocolate Mousse, Conspiracy chocolate 75%呢款甜品几出色,又滑又软同劲浓嘅朱古力🍫味👍🏻,但系都几大,两个人share先食得晒😋 继续阅读
