平日7点去到,冇咩人,叫左鱿鱼圈同至尊pizza,鱿鱼圈睇落似鱿鱼苏多o的,味道同neway差唔多,不过2款酱汁ok ,分别系沙律同番茄,都算ok ,另外个pizza似手拉pizza,虽然卖相ok,但系唔知点解冇咩味,材料亦唔见得有咩特别,又未至于难食,不过以呢个价钱应该可以更好,下次唔会再来了。

食过PIZZA EXPRESS, PIZZA HUT, Paisano's...都没有令我回味及再想去帮衬的餐厅...但呢间PICCOLO 系令我忘不了的意式PIZZA...必定再帮衬! 前菜就叫了一个 Fried portobello 炸波特茹(即系鸡肉火箭菜加上一件炸波特茹配上牛肉汁的开胃菜)外脆内软且香滑波特茹, 鸡肉不干不鞋, 仲有D鸡肉味, 与牛肉汁好配 , 好开胃的STARTER..只是火箭菜份量就太少而已...好醒胃又暖胃的前菜, DELICIOUS STARTER!!!PIZZA 就叫咗 SUPREMA, 11吋大, 薄PIZZA, YUMMY!!!TOPPINGS 系 意大利肉肠, ONION, MUSHROOM, CHILLI...番茄酱底好正, PIZZA 薄底, 香,脆,暖,同埋食落口, 清爽口味, 又唔流...ICHIBAN!肉肠唔觉太咸, 因为有 ONION & MUSHROOM 来平衡肉肠咸度...而且加上 CHILLI 令胃口大增. 正!PANNA COTTA 奶冻意式甜品.. 奶味不会太重, 又不太甜, 而且香滑, 加上新鲜士多卑利+蓝霉 ..可令口感丰富像滑豆腐,绵绵奶香中带爽脆,清甜. 不爱吃甜品的我都喜欢此PANNA COTTA...BLACK COFFEE..NOT RECOMMENDED!食系享受, 服务又细心, 坐得舒适, 比85分!

Everybody knows my love on Piccolo Pizzeria and Bar (K-Town branch). When they finally realized there was a branch in Wanchai, the district where my gang worked in, we flocked there without any hesitation. Tucked away in a short side street, the location of Piccolo Wanchai branch is quite tricky. No worries tho, you know you’ve stepped into the Piccolo kingdom when sky is shaded by the iconic high ceiling and you feel embraced by the warm orange tones and wooden fittings. Feeling like home really! Despite how much I love Piccolo’s Fried Cheese and Carbonara, my gang is no cheese maniac. So here comes my no-cheese diet! 1. Aglio Olio $120 Always been a signature in Piccolo as the staff tries to get me have this EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I had this once in Kennedy Town but found it not spicy enough. But this time in Wanchai – epic! It wasn’t just about the spiciness, but also the complete taste profile the dish offered. Al dente spaghetti cooked with garlic and red chili – addictive. And it wouldn’t give you bad breath! I’ll give it a 9/10! 2. Fried Portobello $100 Imagine a juicy mushroom the size of a man’s fist, have it deep-fried to cover it with a thin crust, and pour a thin layer of brown sauce on top – that’s basically what it’s about. Yet, rockets being too salty, chicken cooked to rough and bacon made too chewy… a pity to this could-be-amazing mushroom dish. Could have given a full credit for the mushroom, but together with the chicken: 8/10 3. Suprema Pizza $130 And the pizza caught the limelight back! Since my friends ain’t fans of red chili, we had a little struggle before ordering. Then the witty staff suggested making a few slice spicy and the other without chili – perfect! The spiciness came in right after I swallow the whole piece. So be careful! It could be choky! More about the pizza: Baked in this giant red brick stove, the whole pizza gave the aroma of grain and charcoal. Being called “Suprema”, I expected a larger portion of pork sausage but it turned out we couldn’t have one for each slice. Mushroom was actually tasteless, probably dominated by the red chili, but it added credits to the overall texture. Still deserves a 9/10!

上个月中才到访过西环嘅Piccolo,估唔到咁快再嚟过,不过,就唔喺西环店喇,而喺就大家收工后过嚟湾仔店,好友小聚,再访「短笛」,又可以大叹薄饼滋味。环境四四正正,唔似西环店咁一字长形,但同样楼底高,无局促感,墙身挂有唔少意大利装饰,米黄衬啡,木椅配云石餐枱,一派意大利小餐馆气氛,写意闲舒。而餐厅尾嘅半开放厨房,只隔着一道玻璃,可以清楚睇到师傅搓薄饼,做沙律,特别吸引人多望两眼。上次简单啲,直接点几款是日精选就算,不过,友人话餐牌中都有唔少好嘢。经大家商量后,一道薄饼必然唔少得,前菜、意粉各样都拣番啲。等上菜期间,先点啲饮品解吓渴。友人拣嘅无酒精特饮,晌上次嘅食文都有分享过,不用再叙;小弟今次则试吓Piccolo Gunner($28),色泽金黄,清爽冰凉,甜甜哋嘅梳打水。Fried Portobello $115炸龙葵菇依道前菜,喺今晚大家一致认为最惊喜嘅菜式,卖相唔算好好睇,但入口真喺有份惊喜感。成只手掌咁大嘅龙葵菇,以吉列方式脆炸,再淋上烧牛肉汁,咬落外层香脆十足,里面嘅龙葵菇软绵多汁,加上啲烧牛肉汁浓香惹味;而菇上仲放有鸡肉同烟肉,不过,鸡肉有啲嚡,单单只放烟肉碎已足够。Beetroot & Rocket $80另一道前菜红菜头火箭菜沙律,无谂过啲火箭菜多成咁,其实啲红菜头好清甜,又有益;虽然啲火箭菜已加上茴香、油醋,但始终火箭菜味本苦涩,唔喺个个啱食。Pizza Bacon & Honey $145蜜糖烟肉薄饼喺是日嘅精选菜式,上次食文都提过,餐厅每日都会推出一啲精选菜式。以自家砌嘅砖炉烘焗,心理上都觉得唔同啲,薄饼以莫沙厘娜芝士(Mozzarella)垫底,铺上几片意大利烟肉(Pancetta),再涂上蜜糖,烘得金黄吸引。意大利烟肉较平时常食到嘅烟肉少肥,但不失油香,而蜜糖带出嘅甜味,跟火腿嘅咸,有种平衡感,好特别,不愧是日精选。Aglio Olio $120有时做菜,简单先见真章,依道香烤蒜蓉意粉其实真喺觉得有点贵,百几蚊一客,真喺「斋意粉」嚟,用料只有橄榄油同蒜蓉。意粉好有咬口,质感可谓一流,油润得嚟却无多余嘅剩油,啖啖都充满蒜香,但隐藏嘅辣劲却唔讲得少,入口真喺颇辣。Lasagna $160肉酱千层面略嫌表面放得太多芝士,一来焗出嚟卖卖无咁好睇,二来感觉太厚太腻;其实,个千层面本身做得不俗,肉酱充满蕃茄香,酸香鲜活,千层面柔韧适中。几位友人都觉得麻麻,又喺小弟出奉包底嘅时候!最后,都总喺要点客甜品先叫人满足离开。然而,餐厅只有两款甜品,较一般意大利餐厅少,尽管喺咁,都想试试。Chef Cheryl’s Tiramisu $60意大利芝士饼,以杯装形式,睇样平平无奇,食落质素真喺有番咁上下。芝士味轻嘅马卡风芝士部份打得幼细软滑,而手指饼沾满咖啡酒,口感湿润,味带香浓。Panna Cotta $60意式奶冻做晌新地杯中,加点士多啤梨及蓝莓点缀。奶冻挺身软滑,充满云喱拿及奶香,奶冻内清晰睇到云喱拿籽,可见用料不赖。Piccolo嘅薄饼确喺有水准,不过,最惊喜喺一道大磨菇菜式「炸龙葵菇」,另外,意粉亦都做得上乘,所以,大家都食得好称心,最开心莫过于三五知己吹吓水,叹吓美食。

在友人极力推荐下初尝这家,初踏进店门已颇有好感,高楼底设计加分不少,加上颇具气派的厨房,和满店的外国人,让我心情也放松不少。 先上场的小食一点也不欺场,炸芝士十分值得推荐,外面可口但内里却是流心芝士,很有惊喜。 本人虽并非薄饼酷爱者,但这里的薄饼也真相当不错,薄身披底十分松脆,唯一美中不足的是略嫌太咸,越吃越口渴。爱吃Carbonara的我当然忍不住点一客试试,sauce不太liquid,烟肉味够出,是我喜欢的质感。 甜品选择不多,只有Tiramisu及Panna Cotta,最后两款都点了。个人较偏好Tiramisu。与友人叫了白酒和啤酒解渴,整体感觉和气氛也不错,可以encore。 听说他们的鸡翼做得十分出色,可惜只在西环有售,下次再去造访!
