来这里 - 贝澳游水未必系因为有最靓的沙 / 水而系有间好有情调嘅海边Café, 她有阔落的内厅亦有开阳的露台位, 令客人可以边饮冻饮边欣赏来自各区的弄潮儿, 尤其是阳光灿烂的日子, 在这里一个下午茶可以消磨两个钟, 厅面摆设有点泰国Resort的感觉, 扫上黄色油漆的墙面跟阳光射入来时当然能自然配合, 即使在没有阳光的日子也能令室内变得光猛, 还有一个装半满沙的鱼缸 - 有趣! 去年来时是菲律宾(估计是)男待应招呼我们, 今年转了是个操英语发音的唐人-少女招呼我们, 价钱当然比去年的上涨了, 就当是在中环区消费吧!点了鸡胸凯撒沙律 – 整理OK, 无论菜与肉的比例, 刨芝士份量也刚好, 烟肉碎都洒了不少,Fish & Chips – 卖相都很传统, 他他酱亦唔错, 最令本人惊讶的是鱼肉用上鳕鱼柳, 虽然唔知系黑鳕定系白鳕但起码唔系越南嘅稔鱼柳, ;即是说付出了的价钱没有白白的给了地主吧!鱼柳都有一定程度上的大件尺码足够3人同享, 炸衣质感很松脆可口, 薯条亦都是即炸香口,我们3个人都要了美式Lemonade又OK㖞!适值黄昏时分, 海水退了不少而三五成群拿住水筒/小铲来准备捞蚬介类的游客不绝, 可能因为暑假啦, 但心里好奇想着, 要供应给这么多来捞, 是否要有一个养殖场才足够呢? 但绝大部份的游客真的会将蚬挖出来带回家煮食吗? 挖到的份量够煮一碟送酒吗? 这种只是想把蚬挖出来玩玩哄哄自己孩子/ 女友高兴一下的玩意, 到底有否想过蚬仔亦是有生命的生物, 他们有否想过要尊重生命,无论她如何的悲微(从人类角度去看), 如果大家因为没有东西吃而要去挖她出来吃本人没有异议, 相信搭车入来的车费已经可以在街市买两斤”黄沙蚬”了,但这里的情况是明显为了”玩” 问题值得深思! 还有我们走的时候, 不断有游客(200~300人左右吧)拖着手推车, 大袋小袋的, 看来是来露营吧! 但其实我们中午到的时候已经见营地是满客的, 可惜这里公厕只这么一个, 入夜后有多混乱可想而知, 来这里交通费虽然高昂但可能还是太容易到达吧!

After reading through all the reviews about this restaurant, I have LONG been planning ahead to go there for a meal in December. Understand that restaurants in such remote locations might be closing on weekdays or having some sort of special arrangement, I have been trying to call in advance to make a reservation.Therefore, I have been keep calling the reservation hotline for 2 days - it is a centralised hotline where you have to key in the button to make choices. I selected this restaurant but have been calling for two days and no one picked up, it keeps saying no one is picking up the phone! Tried diverting to the operator - No one picking up AGAIN! On the 3rd day for me to call, I STILL couldn't reach anyone but I had to choose to connect to their office. Someone picked up the phone and said would ask their staff to call me back. In the end, no reply. So I just called once more the other day and surprisingly, the staff in office could tell me their reservation schedule! (Gosh, then why not telling me when I called the day before?!!!) Okay, finally someone really called me back (maybe cuz I was too angry!) I called today, i.e. Nov 17 and they said they are closing on Dec 11, with the following "criteria":- Only opens on Sundays- Closing on Dec 11 -> asked if I can come on Dec 11 and they "reminded" me that they are having very limited stock and might have no stock on that day (so persuaded me not to book that day)- So I counter-suggested on Dec 4 -> sorry, fully booked- So does it mean only Nov 20 and 27 are available? -> No at first, yes later when asking if I am having a big group gathering and I said no, I just want to have a table for 2!!!!!- Asked if they will re-open in Jan 2012, and the answer is Mar 1!!!!!Now my only option is on Nov 20 and 27, come on, I just want a nice and quiet dinner for 2 on a day. It's fine not opening on a weekday but...how about weekend? Only on Sunday? So difficult to reach someone to make a reservation? and telling you they might have no stock on food?!!

If you are looking for an easy day at the beach with family or friends, this is a great choice for your base and an easy lunch.The location is perfect, right on the beach, and they provide all the food and drink, so you needn't bring much with you.I do not work here, nor have any association with the place - just a regular satisfied customer!Directions - To get there, take the ferry from Central to Mui Wo, then any bus from Mui Wo to Ong Ping, Tai O or Tung Chung and get off at the Bui O Public School stop. Or take a taxi.OR take the MTR to Tung Chung then the bus towards Mui Wo and get off at the Bui O Public School stop. Or take a blue Lantau taxi.Then walk down the road about 5 minutes towards the beach, and the restaurant is just at the end of the road.Overview - Enjoy your morning and/or afternoon playing in the waves, rent a surf board or just hang out building sand castles.Then have lunch and/or dinner - simple western style beach-side food - fish n chips, homemade chicken sticks, spaghetti, vegetarian dips, etc... good food for the kids and adults. There is no air conditioning, this is an open air restaurant, right on the beach. They do have fans, and a water cooler for unlimited drinking water to help cool you down.Food - My son always goes for the spaghetti, while my daughter and I really like the dips/tapas that come with vegetables and some bread. My British husband of course goes for the fish n chips. Service - The service is 'beach speed' - ie a bit slow, but, you didn't come to the beach for fast service, you want to relax Orders can take up to 30 minutes, so plan to order early when they are busy.View - While the food is good, and the service is friendly but beach-speed, the best thing of all is the location - right on the beach, with great views, and that is what you are paying for.Conveniences - Located next to the public beach means you have access to showers/toilets too. It really makes for an easy day out.Hints:If you do go for lunch, try to place your order early as they get busy. When you leave, it can be a long wait for a taxi, so plan on the bus

金水一直想到贝澳去逛逛，于是想看看那里有没有一些比较坐得舒服，可以坐久一点的食店。在open rice上找到这一家，但看食评已是2008年的事，心想不知道结业了没。昨天下午入贝澳时，在车上打电话去问一下，结果知道还在营业中，不过只提供 set lunch，那也没关系啦!就顺路去逛逛吧。下了巴士，沿路走到海滩。还想在找那店子在那里之际，原来 Oh La La就在眼前!金水与朋友们选了坐近海边的位置，因为是开放式的，所以没有冷气，但因为昨天天气还好，而且靠近海边，所以不太觉得热。说回食物，可能是平日的关系吧，食物只有 set lunch，其他连小食也没有。Set lunch只有三文治。可以有三种不同的面包选择，馅料也有三种选择，都是简单的芝士烟肉吞拿鱼那些。配菜可选薯片，沙律等。餐饮是咖啡、茶那些，也可以选水果、冰淇淋等，不过选了这些就没有餐饮(建议不要选冰淇淋，因为只是一杯阿波罗雪糕)。食物味道一般，不过不失。价钱一个 set lunch 需要$85(还需加一)。不过在这里没有人理你，可以坐多久也可以，而且在海边，坐在这里聊聊天打发一个下午也算是个不错的选择，金水猜想晚上的气氛可能会更好!

沙滩慢步, 细听浪声, 烛光晚餐....正正位于贝澳沙滩的ooh la la! 就是能满足以上所讲的一所餐厅. 下午时份, 整家店子给人一种很relax感觉, 有很多外国人聚在一起聊天. 到夜澜人静, 餐厅又变身得很有浪漫气份...这晚, 试了这儿的Fish & chips, 同埋唔记得咩名的burger, 份量之大足够两人食有余. Fish & chips 炸得很脆口, 而鱼柳所用并非普通平价鱼柳, 很有鱼味. 而burger的质素不比其他著名burger店差, 汉堡扒厚厚的又有肉汁, 再加上半溶的芝士, so delicous...感谢曾经有过这样的一位朋友, 相陪到如此远的地方散心游玩, 虽然此情不再.....
