两个人去大坑揾野食, 见呢间几多人又坐街边咪试下啰由于坐系舖头对面无乜灯光, 我都睇唔清d食物卖相猪颈肉炒茄子 - 个汁偏甜, 由于唔够茄子加左d芹菜 > <炸扎肉饭 + 咖哩汁 - 扎肉好咸, 个汁不太浓味,但颇"杰"身炸鸡翼 - 香茅老水味, 又系好咸青柠梳打- 原枝泰国梳打 继续阅读

到朋友大坑家探访,于是便点了外卖自取.朋友是识吃之人,介绍就他楼下一间十分诡异的食肆.如果男生约你去大坑NEW YORK CLUB吃饭,作为女生的你,应该会幻想是间很有美国风情,卖高级汉堡加薯条炸鸡的高级食肆...最好加多个落地玻璃,透出大都会风情.手拿密麻麻,微微偏黄的英文小说,然后穿件红色格仔恤衫加条烂牛,夕阳照下来,一头长发,影得阁下份外清秀.够啦!公关你醒下啦!你估拍潘婷广告,以为自己是曾恺玹乎?现实是,这店NEW YORK CAFE,卖上海菜,也卖泰国菜,其至中西甜品,偏偏不是卖美国地道美食.其实回想起来,成件事都几衬的-小到不能再小的店舖,9唔搭8的各国菜,加个9唔搭8的名字.但,凡事不可以貎取人.点了-虾胶-这个公关是击节赞赏的,虾胶十分爽口弹牙,炸得也不油,也有虾味,是想不到的滋味.抄贵勺-调味是恰到好处,条条分明,不湿渌渌也不干争争,是一碟好贵勺.咖喱蒜蓉饱蒜蓉饱香脆又有蒜味,配咖喱是最佳享受.虽然咖喱比较稀,但好处是相对来说也不会太腻,也是值得一吃.翡 翠 苗抄得同样有镬气,只是我个人不是特别爱翡 翠 苗,总觉得有点草青味.狗狗MARLEY看著我们吃得津津有味,它主人也为他送上蛋糕一件.现在的狗狗真的与人一样幸福呢!今次几样菜式都甚为满意,有机会真的希望再吃这家NEW YORK CAFE,多试它其他菜式,才能知其龙与凤! 继续阅读

一向听闻大坑有一家泰国小店, 做得甚有水准匀匀, 这里也有不少人给予好评。这晚本来想到光华士多吃住家菜, 但路经这里又心想不如试试吧, 况且也有很久没有吃过泰菜。这店小得不能, 店内只有两张枱, 然后就是在街边开枱坐, 以吃在路边的感觉及热的程度是十分泰国, 食物又如何呢?点了生虾刺身, 冬荫功, 泰式肉碎炒饭, 这几款最基本的泰菜应该可以位知道他们的水准。生虾刺身卖相奇差,有图为证, 有点怕吃了会肚痛,但有蒜头杀菌应该没事吧, 味道十分一般, 虾不太爽身, 酱汁也平平无奇, 不酸不辣, 失望。冬荫功做得有水准, 够香, 够浓,甜酸得宜, 有椰香味, 材料充足, 最怕一些稀薄如水的, 在汤里的虾, 质地比刺身的虾好多了。香叶肉碎辣椒炒饭,看到饭颜色很深, 想必味浓, 一入口, 淡而无味, 一点香叶味也没有, 找了一条香叶放入口, 只有零丁的香味, 肉碎很少, 会不会是因为太碎呢?辣椒呢?一点辣味也没有,整碟饭只觉油腻,失望。友人点了菜肉云吞, 为甚么会有菜肉云吞的呢? 菜肉云吞是他们自家制的,原来这里也有供应上海菜式以至中西甜品供应,又系嘅, 店名叫New York Club 也应该是大包围。未知是否他们转了厨师还是甚么原因, 水准真的是水平以下, 和「好吃」有一大段距离, 这餐每人要$130。会不会再来? 不会了。 继续阅读

I think this restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in Tai Han area. Not many people know about this place as it is located in a back alley. If you are not familiar with that area, you probably wouldn’t have realized the existence of this small restaurant.But if you did, congratulations! you have found a great restaurant that you would keep going back to.The menu of New York club, I have to say, is a bit strange. They serve Thai dishes, Shanghai dishes, hot dogs, cheese cakes and even Hainan chicken…I guess that’s the reason why they call themselves New York club, as you can’t really define who they are.And when I ask the waitress about their recommendations, she will reply to you in great confidence, “EVERYTHING tastes good here!” Well, she is not totally exaggerating. Most dishes here do taste good. I especially enjoy their Thai food. One of my recommendations would be raw prawns. They are very fresh and the taste is just right. I also like their curry dishes. Although I have to say they taste a bit salty, but if you eat it with some garlic bread, it’s just yummy.Another dish I kept ordering is “Fried Suki”. I have no idea why it’s called Suki. Basically, this dish is “Fried mixed vegetables”. But there is a particular spice that they put it that makes it tastes so unique. Besides the food, I also love the environment. Basically, they don’t really have any indoor area. That means you basically will be sitting on the street – which feels great in winter and autumn. 与一位朋友第一次到此店, 第一样上台的是青柠soda, 无得顶!!! fresh透心凉!!!! 菜包 --- 好正够热, 食个返寻味!!!冬阴公 --- 朋友大赞,饮晒,一滴都唔剩Garlic bread -- 香脆炒蚬 - 较淡,但不算太差总括: 一定要再来,太好味了!!! 期待冬天试一试冬阴公火锅P.S 已于一星期后再次到此餐厅 - so good 继续阅读
