本身個人就唔係特別鐘意西餐嘅魚dish ,不過見佢要二人份量,好似好巴閉咁,就試吓。食落去,魚肉質感就係平時煎條紅鯛、或者紅衫魚嗰種嘅質感同味道,不過就有少少檸檬牛油嘅味道。


醬汁就唔差嘅,但魚肉又冇話特別滑身。我個人就覺得除非你係魚肉愛好者,可能留個quota試吓其他主菜更好。

LPM Restaurant and bar in Hong Kong is undoubtedly one of our favorite dining establishments. Whenever we visit, we can always count on exceptional food and consistent quality. The outstanding service further enhances our overall experience. We often take pleasure in inviting friends to join us at LPM because we know it will never disappoint.During our recent visit, we decided to try the French beans with foie gras salad. Unfortunately, it turned out to be our least favorite dish of the evening.

During our recent visit, we decided to try the French beans with foie gras salad. Unfortunately, it turned out to be our least favorite dish of the evening. We felt that the beans could have been slightly undercooked and crunchy, which didn't complement the soft texture of the foie gras. However, this minor disappointment did not overshadow the rest of our meal.

One aspect of LPM that truly stands out is their fish carpaccio and ceviche selection. We made sure to try them all, and each dish was simply outstanding. Even as someone who typically doesn't enjoy sashimi fish, I found these preparations to be exceptional and highly recommend them. The flavors were expertly balanced, and the freshness of the fish was evident.

Moreover, we discovered our new favorite main dish at LPM—the grilled sagabuta pork. The pork was perfectly marinated, and each bite reminded us of the delectable pork chops we used to savor at Lily and Bloom, a restaurant that unfortunately closed down a few years ago. The grilled sagabuta pork was a delightful surprise and left a lasting impression on us.

In summary, we cannot recommend LPM Restaurant and bar enough. The overall experience, from the fantastic food to the impeccable service, is truly remarkable. Whether you're a food enthusiast, a couple seeking a romantic dining experience, or simply looking for a memorable meal, LPM is a must-visit. We encourage you to try it out for yourself and discover the culinary delights it has to offer.

✅Beef tartare with smoked bone marrow mayonnaise. 有別於一般的beef tartare,呢個的牛切成細粒,口感上比較明顯食到一粒粒的牛粒。味道一d都唔腥,因為有面頭大量的炸洋蔥絲+牛骨髓蛋黃醬,酸酸地幾開胃☺️ 仲要撈勻隻鵪鶉蛋食,入口非常creamy!

We had our Valentine’s Day dinner here and the experience was awful.1. Apparently the restaurant was overbooked. Many guests arrived on time and had to stand there and waited for over 30 minutes to be seated.2. The staff were impolite. We were assigned to a table right under the air conditioning and it was freezing. I politely requested a change of table but was told we couldn’t. Afterwards we were assigned to another table with broken table legs! 3. We were informed that there was a minim

1. Apparently the restaurant was overbooked. Many guests arrived on time and had to stand there and waited for over 30 minutes to be seated.

2. The staff were impolite. We were assigned to a table right under the air conditioning and it was freezing. I politely requested a change of table but was told we couldn’t. Afterwards we were assigned to another table with broken table legs!

3. We were informed that there was a minimum charge of HKD998. It was understandable because it’s Valentine’s Day, but we were rushed through our courses and constantly reminded to order up to the minimum charge. For God’s sake it’s Valentine’s Day! Our mood was totally spoiled.

4. We were not served bread and we had to ask for it - we were so hungry!

5. Tables were close to each other and basically you can hear every word of the next table guests.

Terrible dining experience and I will definitely not come back. If you are looking for French cuisines or celebration meals please find another restaurants - there are other great choices in central (don’t risk angering your girlfriend or wife!).

Went to this resto with my friends to celebrate her bday. We ordered various dishes..Appetizer: Escargots de Bourgogne-With garlic butter and parsley, the escargots smelled fragrant and tasted buttery. It was nice to pour its juice out and mop it with bread. Calamars Frits: Squids with Paprika and Green Chilli -With a crispy exterior, its interior was chewy and fresh. Tartare de Thon: Tuna Tartare-Topped with egg yolk, Oscietra caviar and crunch, the tartare looked exquisite and tasted luxurious

— Wow! This was quite the dish. A seasonal twist on their incredibly famous burrata dish, the cheese is lightly warmed and finished off with a fragrant white truffle oil and their beautiful white truffle shavings as well as a light sprinkle of sea salt and chives for added aroma. This was so delicious on its own as well as on bread, as the white truffles were so aromatic, and the burrata was insanely creamy and light.

— Was worried this would be too heavy/rich but they absolutely nailed the flavours and sauce here. The cream was flavourful, well seasoned with an aromatic cheesy flavour that wasn’t overpowering so that the white truffle couldn’t shine through. This came with a very generous serving of white truffle shavings which had sweet, oaky notes that complemented the cheese flavours really well.

— Probably the best french toast in HK or ever in my opinion. The french toast is an absolute treat to end with, as it’s soft, with a custardy inside that is so decadent and delicious. With a crispy exterior to contrast, it’s simply irresistible. The spice ice cream is creamy, with a strong but not overpowering cinnamon flavour that goes so well with the warm french toast.

— This is a must order main dish for me whenever I come here! No place does marinated chicken as good as LPM. Grilled to absolute perfection, the chicken is incredibly tender, juicy and so flavourful. Their signature citrus marinade is a perfect blend of sweet and acidic citrus fruits that complement the chicken so well to elevate its flavours naturally. This dish doesn’t need much else and shines on its own.

It was a weekday evening and we booked the restaurant week promotion set dinner. It was a hot day and the restaurant was quite full. We were seated near the entrance from Stanley Street.

The set price for the restaurant week dinner was $588 per person and I did not order any course with extra add-on. I chose Snails with Garlic Butter and Parsley as starter; Marinated Baby Chicken as Main; Sautéed Broccolini as Side dish; and French Toast with Spice Ice Cream for Dessert. The set did not include tea or coffee and we ordered a sparkling water (Evian) which was $85 per bottle.

Here are my tasting notes for the day:

Before the starter arrived, they gave us two tomatoes 🍅 and a huge lemon😅. We were supposed to use the knife on the table and make our own salad with them; “sprinkled with olive oil, and salt and pepper”, the waiter that served us said. We did and it turned out quite fun and the tomatoes were ripe and sweet. They also gave out bread at this juncture to enjoy with the salad which I forgot to take photo

Snails with Garlic Butter- this is supposed to be their signature dish and it did not disappoint. The look of the piping hot snails with generous amount of herbs on top was already very inviting when it was served. Flavour was full on, snail was soft and the herby garlic butter was so good that I tipped out all the goodness from the shell on my plate and dipped my bread on it. It was absolutely moreish. So good

Marinated Baby Chicken and Sautéed Broccolini - the chicken had been confit in citrus and it turned out moist, juicy with the right amount of acidity. Delicious
. The sautéed broccolini was done beautifully retaining the right amount of crunch and also of generous portions.

French Toast with Spice Ice Cream - the slice of French toast had a crust to it like cracking a crème brûlée top and the bread inside was silky soft, pillowy and creamy which was delicious. The ice cream had cinnamon flavour but I wished it could come in a bigger size to go with the toast.

The overall service was good, the team at the restaurant was attentive. The only drawback would be the layout of the entrance to the restaurant. On a hot day, people coming through the entrance doors would inevitably bring the sweltering heat in despite the use of a thick curtain to shield out the unwanted hot air. As there were alfresco dining too outside, traffic through those doors were inevitable. Even they put fans out, it didn’t help much and did affect the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.

之前一直聽我呢位朋友講呢間餐廳好好味所以朋友最後選擇呢位餐廳為我慶祝生日朋友一早就訂左枱,所以我地去到就可以即刻安排入座sweet corn salad with pomegranate and herbs本身我好鍾意食粟米,呢個頭盤好好食Snails with garlic butter好香好香牛油味D麵包都脆,用黎送garlic butter就perfectHomemade Pappardelle with Beef Ragout and Mushroom意粉口感比較硬,不過d牛好淋,好好味其實個牛扒煎得岩岩好,不過d血就令賣相扣左d分Creme brûlée超級超級推介,本身鍾意食甜品人士真係唔好錯過,真係好滿足整體餐廳環境都幾好,食物質數又好,值得去chill下

The food was alright.But their service was terrible, I almost feel like I was having a meal in 澳牛. They cleared up your plates before you even finished your food and showed annoyed face even when there was at least 20 minutes left till your expected time of handing over the table.This was unacceptable especially we were paying 800pp for a timed dinner. At last when we politely ask for a photo, the waitress was behaving rudely as we used one more second to settle down ourselves (saying 點啊 in a ve

I would definitely not recommend anyone of you reading this to come to this restaurant.
You can pay 100-200pp more for a much better service and non timed decent dinner in a hotel.
Spend your money right.

P.S. There are actually wiser ways to ask your customers to leave time (which we actually do)
Please respect your profession and I respect yours too
