We had a great dinner at Jamie's Italian last night. We were pretty early for dinner (5:30) so there was no wait. The waitress was pleasant and attentive and the atmosphere was lively. We had the spicy tomato wings to start. The wings were a bit small, but the flavor of the sauce with the lime was delicious. 大師嚟港開店已一年有多,網上評價都系half half。是日就嚟一試究竟。已訂位,早到咗15分鐘,伺應還是很有原則又禮貌哋叫我哋等到預定嘅時間,原因係目前張枱仲未ready。6點半準時入座,伺應帶我哋上樓,一上到去就見到full場,大師果然係大師呀。嚟之前參考過好多食家嘅意見,都算係有備而來,好快就落咗單。試過以上幾款,覺得嚟呢到一定要揀啱食物。唔怪得大家啲評價half half 啦。 個人覺得凍肉同啤酒值得推薦。其他嘅就要親自試過先知啦~

久聞大名,終於黎到香港開分店,吃貨的我一定要試下啦!初初反應熱烈,排隊排餐死,到後期回復正常!放假特登安排到此食lunch, 平日唔太多人,特登walk in ,不用等候立即安排入座!服務員很用心去講解daily special,可惜講太快,同太多內容,唔系一時間能消化,寫落張紙到慢慢考慮咁就多好!炸魷魚同 Gnocchi無甚麼特別呢兩款意粉聽聞好出名、好好食、好特別同埋必食既,試過啦,唔系想像中咁難忘,淺嘗!甜品系最有興趣,tiramisu 最討好我歡心,少cream 有少少橙味!Brownie 暖度唔夠,但朱古力味好配海鹽雪糕!整體試左大路既野食,希望有機會再試多一點肉食吧!

尖沙咀店開業後, 終可如願以嚐Jamie's Italian. 雖然早前聽過朋友的劣評, 但都要親證一下。香茅+薄荷葉+檸檬都是我喜歡的開胃材料, 與Jamie的菜色很配合的限定特飲炸薯條太簡單?! 這個食得出香甜薯味, 功架十足! 蕃茄醬譆雖好, 但雞翼沒有烤炸的香口感, 失望>.<松露油配巴馬神芝士, 與白蒜香薯條不相伯仲MENU註明是愛爾蘭誘捕螃蟹, 啖啖鮮甜蟹肉配濃郁蕃茄醬, 10拿9穩啦~略嫌牛油果未夠熟,好硬-.-加上茴香片,豆類,堅果種子碎......令人嚼到口軟紅石榴倒是沙律中的亮點!額外加配紅菜頭醃製三文魚, 獨特又惹味!我的坐位背靠半開放式廚房,燈泡熱量十足, 把半濕的頭髮都烘乾了~還好士冷氣開得夠大, 還有點寒意~總括來說是滿意的, 若要為食物打個分數7/10吧!下次可能會試試牛扒和其他海鮮菜色。

我的坐位背靠半開放式廚房,燈泡熱量十足, 把半濕的頭髮都烘乾了~還好士冷氣開得夠大, 還有點寒意~

總括來說是滿意的, 若要為食物打個分數7/10吧!
下次可能會試試牛扒和其他海鮮菜色。

题外话/补充资料: 要讚賞一下他們對員工的培訓, 態度友善不在話下, 對餐廳每款菜色都瞭若指掌(THUMB UP)

Dinner reservations still need to be at least one month ahead. We’re not even sure the restaurant has opened for the day or not, but the usher smiled and told us it’s past 11am. There were barely any customers and only another table was filled far away. The wall painting made a statement for the entire restaurant and the empty tables made for good photos.

The server was nice and attentive and introduced us to the daily specials. However, we were more interested in the dishes that the other commenters enjoyed. We ordered cured and crispy fish on a plank for two, porchini fettuccine and the famous lamb lollipops. We were given two cans of tomatoes to hold the wooden planks for presentation. The raised position added some fun and made the dish looked gluttonous. Well, we were amazed by some of the petite portions, such as the beetroot-cured salmon on a bed of ice. The salmon piece looked like a helpless fallen leave but it’s for two people! We each had one shellfish, clam and mussel. To be fair the seafood was flavourful, but we’re left graving for more. The pecorino was very strong to me balanced by chilli jam. The smoked mackerel pate and pickles were really salty. We enjoyed the crunchy carrot and beet salad with lemon and mint though. The plank was fun to eat but not that good value for money.

We were told that the small porchini fettuccine would be about fist size. There were wild mushrooms, mascarpone, garlic, white wine and more. The fresh fettuccine was delightful and spongy. The sauce was rich spiced up by the herby breadcrumbs and generous mushroom pieces. We highly recommended this dish.

The lamb lollipops also arrived on a plank. We were happy that the popular polenta chips were also included. The chops looked smaller than photographed. The meat was tender with some charcoal taste. The rich and succulent fat making it more abundant than it looked. There were also an herby red onion salad, toasted nuts, pickled chilli, fresh mint and rosemary leaves and a big pot of yogurt sauce with chilli oil on top. The polenta chips were light and fluffy. The crispy texture and salt was a highlight. It’s good for balancing the strong lamb flavor.

It started to rain heavily outside. We were grateful to be having this hearty meal inside. Many customers came to lunch but the tables were nicely spaced. There came big dessert time. I pondered the dessert menu for a long time and finally chose the chocolate, pear & honeycomb pavlova. Although the pear didn’t taste fresh, the multiple textures of the meringue, poached pear, mascarpone, cream and honeycomb pieces created a satisfying sensation. We did not regret forsaking the more filling choices like tiramisu or brownie.

This Rang True to Our Second Visit to Jamie's Italian, almost a year had pass since our last visit and a Second Incarnation over the Harbour was in place.
It began much Like the last Visit.
Was able to Book a Table for 8:00 pm & was promptly told the table would be held for 10mins.
I Arrived 10 min prior to the Reserved time but was told to wait as the table was still occupied.
Wasn't allowed to have at drink in the bar as this been also full.
We waited a further 40 min before we were able to be seated.
The Table was a Spacious Window Seat, menus were promptly placed & the Hostess quickly disappeared.
The Restaurant was busy as expected, our waiter arrive a few minutes later eager & well rehearse opening. Telling us the Daily Specials etc
We ordered a bottle of wine & bottles of Mineral Water.
Wine arrived & Poured but No Water as they had run out of cold Mineral Water & was offered ice on the side...
Order was taken (Must Commend Him as he remembered Every Dish by Heart)

上星期六終於去了朝聖!友人早一星期訂位,為了慶祝我和另一友人生日,本想訂星期六中午午膳時間 ,但已滿坐,但服務員有善地回覆1:45pm有位。讚!一行4位小粉絲來到餐廳,看到裝修走休閒輕鬆格調,環境十分優美!也有很多一家大小朋友坐在用餐,外國人士也人數不少。至於食物,滿心期望,卻有點失望, 看得出食物用料十分新鮮,但沒有必要,也不會再次光臨。唯一令我覺得回味竟然是險眼扒的配菜-rocket and mushroom!還有別出心裁的朱古力蛋糕配salty雪糕!至於服務員的態度,確實是十分好!讚!

唯一令我覺得回味竟然是險眼扒的配菜-rocket and mushroom!還有別出心裁的朱古力蛋糕配salty雪糕!
至於服務員的態度,確實是十分好!讚!

2. Mussels Angel Hair - 侍應姐姐說是今日推介, 即管試試, 但青口唔多新鮮, 有異味。意粉是自家製, 聲稱用本地蛋, 但口感好怪, 唔 Al dente 之餘還有點糊口. 呢個比起平時MENU有的意粉還貴, $200以上. 不值得呀!

3. 唯一最好食的 Lamb Lollipops - 賣相確實精緻有趣, 用兩個罐頭架起個 PLANK, 問侍應哥哥為何有這樣的 Presentation, 他說是 Jamie要求的, 說枱位置不多, 要向高發展, 幾有心思! 羊架質素好好, 有羊味但不至於腥膻, 配有香草葉 (應該係Basil), 鮮干蔥圈, 花生碎, Yoghurt sauce; Side dish係Jamie 出名的 Polenta Chips, 加入了玉米粉, 好似食緊炸過的玉米糊, 偏鹹, 我不喜歡, 但都叫試過。

4. Fried 3-cheese Gnocchi - 死鹹同乾, 跟 fried risotto 差唔多. 我在別的餐廳吃過Chestnut Gnocchi , 口感黏糯, 還有面粉香, 這裏的完全談不上係 Gnochhi!!!!!

女友生日,話想食傳說中嘅"Jamie's Italian",於是早一個月上網book位。間餐廳只可以接受一個月之前訂位,我知到好難訂,所以一個月前就上網訂抬。上到佢個網,已經得番5:15之前同9:30之後嘅時間。洗唔洗咁誇啊!於是book咗5:15,好早啊!到咗嗰日,準時5:15到達。唔洗等。入面裝修都幾有格調,環境唔錯。我地叫咗四道菜,包括Funky Chips, Italian Spiced Chicken Wing, Fish in a bag同Our Famous Prawn Linguine。啲野都上得可快。碟雞翼除咗辣味之外,就淨係得辣味,一啲都唔香。薯條ok,芝士同黑松露都好夠味。碟紙包魚係將飯同魚加上蜆、青口同茄醬用錫紙包住焗。我真心覺得唔好味。第一啲蜆有沙。第二啲飯好碎同好硬。上面啲茄醬完全蓋過啲魚味。失敗!"蝦仔"意粉有分大同細。我問waitress細有幾多,佢話大概65 gram,三啖倒,咁我同佢講「大嘅唔該!」呢個意粉算正常,軟硬同麵質都ok。係大蝦變咗蝦仔。可以一試!本來諗住叫甜品,但食完啲主菜對佢啲野食無乜信心。所以冇叫。冇傳說講到咁好食,短期內都唔會再返黎

"蝦仔"意粉有分大同細。我問waitress細有幾多,佢話大概65 gram,三啖倒,咁我同佢講「大嘅唔該!」呢個意粉算正常,軟硬同麵質都ok。係大蝦變咗蝦仔。可以一試!
本來諗住叫甜品,但食完啲主菜對佢啲野食無乜信心。所以冇叫。
冇傳說講到咁好食,短期內都唔會再返黎食。

Have previously been here before xmas and on xmas day which found both quite reasonable, althougha  little overpriced.Went back this week for lunch and was very disappointed and felt annoyed about handing over money for such a dissatisfaction.Got a table for 2 straight away, headed upstairs where there seemed to be more staff than customers, all seemingly running around like bees 'busy doing nothing'. Got a table for 2 straight away, headed upstairs where there seemed to be more staff than customers, all seemingly running around like bees 'busy doing nothing'. We stood there waiting for someone to seat us, a few people even saw us and changed direction back into the kitchen rather than come talk to us. What is that all about?!

Had a nice filipino lady serve us, although going through the menu, specials and drinks with us for 5 minutes + when were hungry was getting a bit tedious, although I guess this is what she is told to do.

Ordered a starter to share of bruschetta, which was a joke as I wouldn't have expected toddlers to share the amount we received. Very tasty but so little, literally 4 baby tomatoes cut in half and a shaving of a baguette, for around $70 too.. what a joke.

Our mains came and it was pretty much the same. I couldn't believe my pasta dish was mine when it arrived, I thought my GF had ordered another starter as it was that small. Taste was just bad, which I dont know how it is possible to make pasta bad. GF had porcini fettucine which she liked, but overall we were both very very annoyed at the experience.

defended this place to many people as always being critisized but not anymore. Won't be back

A huge fan of Jamie Oliver.. Finally got a chance to visit thereOrdered rib eye steak,lamb, Spaghetti etcLoved the lamb, very juicy and the source surprised me as it tasted like noting I've eaten before.I recommended any lamb dishes from Jamie to all lamb-lovers as most of them seems great. The steak and spaghetti were mediocre so I don't recommend ordering them Very nice and chatty server. A huge fan of Jamie Oliver.. Finally got a chance to visit there

Loved the lamb, very juicy and the source surprised me as it tasted like noting I've eaten before.
I recommended any lamb dishes from Jamie to all lamb-lovers as most of them seems great. The steak and spaghetti were mediocre so I don't recommend ordering them
Very nice and chatty server. Price is reasonable for the brand name 'Jamie'.

Overall, I think it is ok, but if you say these were the food from Jamie, in general (except the lamb) did not meet my expectation of his food.

Hands down, the worst meal I've had in Hong Kong!  Jamie, you've got to fix this!  We received our main entrees before our appetizers and salads; our waiter took our mains back, but when it was time for us to be served them, we received the same ones the kitchen made 20 minutes prior!  Terrible!  We should have received fresh entrees!The calamari was tasteless and needed more salt in the batter itself.  The pasta- my husband had the tagliatelle, which was way overdone.  The beef osso bucco was a

The calamari was tasteless and needed more salt in the batter itself.  The pasta- my husband had the tagliatelle, which was way overdone.  The beef osso bucco was also tasteless, although tender.  The brownie was delicious- the only worthwhile thing in our meal.  

Fix this, Jamie!!!  Not a good experience!!  Will not return.
