Finally made it to 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐤 𝐆𝐨𝐨! Just in case you still haven’t heard of this place, Hansik Goo is founded by Mingoo Kang (award winning chef behind two-Michelin starred Mingles), and now helmed by young but talented head chef Steve Lee.While we haven’t been to Mingles, we do believe Hansik Goo goes by a more casual route. Absolutely loved the cosy vibes and friendly yet professional service 🥰 def a nice place for both casual date nights or special occasions alike!_Food wise, went for their short tasting menu plus a few add-ons.Everything on the tasting menu was an absolute delight, from the 𝙃𝙤𝙚 🐟 which is essentially Korean styled raw fish served with 2-year-aged kimchi, to the 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙜𝙮𝙚 𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙤 🐔a contemporary risotto version of the traditional ginseng chicken soup featuring this juicy sous vide chicken roll wrapped with crispy chicken skin, to the desserts 𝙃𝙬𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙚 🍉 (watermelon omija granita) & 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙗𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙪🍦(red bean with milk trio ice cream)._But our fav of the night was def the 𝘽𝘽𝙌 𝙋𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙥 & 𝙈𝙪𝙡𝙝𝙤𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙢𝙮𝙚𝙤𝙣 🍜 The Iberico pork was beautifully chargrilled with an extremely tender & succulent centre. And that cold Gochujang broth with cuttlefish was exceptional! Spot-on balance between sweet, sour, spicy & savoury! Together with those chewy buckwheat noodles - can’t think of a better summer dish than this!🤤_As for the add-ons, you can’t say you’ve been to Hansik Goo without trying their 𝙆𝙁𝘾 🍗 (Korean fried chicken)! The outer layer is extra thin yet super crispy, then you have all that sticky goodness - the tangy yuzu glaze, to lighten things up. No wonder it’s been dubbed the best fried chicken in town!😍_Overall, Hansik Goo shows its capability to create while still staying akin to its Korean roots. While there may not be tons of exciting elements, flavours are clean yet with depth, and dishes have the magical comfort food quality that will surely leave customers satisfied! Can’t wait to be back for their new summer items!

知道Mingles主厨喺香港开家庭式嘅韩国fusion荔枝果肉雪糕菜,即刻就决定试,几年前喺首尔食过一试难忘。对比香港呢一间就有点失色了。我哋今日试咗一个四个course嘅晚餐,再加两个side dish。首先个前菜,配搭有鱼生与芫荽同埋Kimchi,味道真系冇乜惊喜😬。跟住个人参汤,个汤嘅味道系OK嘅,配咗个糯米饭都几好味,汤嘅鸡卷就一般啦。反而𠮶side order嘅炸鸡几好食另外个海鲜pancake亦好普通。反而个Main dish慢煮猪扒同埋墨鱼荞麦面系最好味嘅,Juice得来又有炭烧嘅香味最后甜品亦都只系普普通通。如果冇去过首尔嘅Mingles, 香港呢间一时亦无妨

so excited to come here!!! its super hard to get a table and people usually have to book a few weeks in advance🤯🤯 its one of the few restaurants that truly worth the hype!😻💝 the design of their dishes is so unique and bold and they taste as good as they look!👀 i definitely recommend u getting their korean fried chicken with yuza jang and seafood pancake along with their set dinner!😜😚

🍽 Lunch Tasting Menu - Full Course💰 HK$880 (10% service charge)We are definitely not a big fan of Korean food. If we were to pick any cuisine, we normally go for Western or Japanese. 🌚🌚However, the booking was made 3 months ago and we thought we were feeling adventurous. Hansik Goo is a popular Korean modern restaurant by chef Mingoo. As I don’t eat much I thought 8 courses would be too filling for me. However, the portions for each course were quite small.

为庆祝Mother’s Day, 提早预约!Order of the day- 4 courses tasting menu:- 第一道Hoe 회(鱼生)🍣鲷鱼刺身配腌制两年的泡菜与时令蔬菜,可沾大酱。泡菜不是辣的,脆口带点酸更带有麻油香,作为前菜很开胃- 第二道Samgye Risotto这个要给予⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️,难以想像人参鸡可以化成炖饭!鸡卷是以鸡脾肉组成外皮是炸鸡皮(很久没有食过一块完整的鸡皮了!)而饭是用糯米和笋做的,人参鸡汤的精华都藏在饭粒里,gimmicky外又难忘的好吃🥰- 第三道BBQ Pork Chop & Janchi Guksu,小嫩猪配鳀鱼高汤面,一直想试的韩式高汤(看尹Stay知道要用大葱、香菇、昆布和鳀鱼干提炼出来)咕噜咕噜地干了整碗汤🥣- Extra order: 海鲜葱饼,韩国人下雨天会吃啊,终于吃到不是面粉当道的粉饼了🍶- 第四道Ginseng & Honey人参雪糕配红枣蜜外加焦糖脆脆,这个组合最后惊现咖啡味🍨PS: 以为portion小会不饱吗?不会啊,饱覆感是慢慢浮出来的!💰$580 per head for 4 courses, $980 for full courses,个人认为吃到摘星料理师的精致料理(K-style fine fine)很值得,是品蕾享受💜
