继续生日饭系列。这餐感谢 林公子 做东，抽空替小弟吃庆生饭，顺道来个 Happy Hour 互相 catch up，差唔多有半年无碰面喇！当天因为地点就脚，选了吃「Frites Belgium on Tap」比利时菜，我平日中午也会来吃 lunch 呢：在香港吃比利时菜的餐厅，「Frites Belgium on Tap」可说时其中的代表，青口及炸薯条，走不了。事实饮食文化上比利时人酷爱薯条，一般在各个小店或火车站都可以买到小包装的炸马铃薯，当地人叫做 frites (法语)，所以这间餐厅就是薯条的意思在内。「Steak Tartare」HK$175牛肉他他一向是我喜爱之物，重点是牛肉新鲜，没有出血水，切断所有的筋，涂多士来品尝原汁肉味就是最佳的吃法：牛与蛋的比例刚好，牛味重，纤维细致，加蛋后香滑，一点腥味也没有，再配上酸汁蔬菜沙律解腻，未吃过生牛肉的朋友可以不用怕前来一试：都系果句，来到这里不吃青口怎样说不过去。「Frites House Mussels」1/2KG HK$275白酒忌廉汁香草口味，配炸薯条及烘多士，成煲上：青口肉依旧细致且滑，鲜味都跑到汁里头：每次来吃这里的薯条都是新鲜炸起，非常香脆，干而不油，可以这样斋吃，它与烘面包也可以用来点青口汁的精华：比利时也是一个喜欢甜品的国度，来这里庆生确是个不错的选择，生日愿望希望大家事事顺利，最紧要身体健康。再次谢谢林公子的心意，赏心悦目的聚餐，又倾咗好多旅游趣事和大计，新一年大家都继续畅游大世界，品尝不同美食！

I had a disappointing experience at the Fortress Hill branch, particularly with the service from a Caucasian manager, whose attitude felt quite arrogant.I had chosen this location for a birthday lunch with a friend because it’s usually quiet, making it perfect for catching up. When we arrived, there were plenty of empty tables, as expected. My friend selected a table facing the street, and I sat parallel to her so we could both enjoy the view.Unfortunately, the manager approached us in a rather blunt manner, stating that the restaurant expected more customers and that we might need to share our table, even though it was a four-person table with just the two of us. Throughout our lunch, there remained numerous empty tables, which made the situation even more frustrating.Now I understand why Fortress Hill branch often has so many empty tables.

点了express lunch，house mussel，青口真的只有一点点大，蜷缩在占壳不到1/4的地方，另外有四五个空壳+没有开口的，真的很无语，去年在奥运分店吃过一次完全不是这种质素。。。找了服务员，要求换了其他菜讲真买超市的冻货自己在家煮都不会这样。。。是品种不对，时间不对还是怎样? $250一份的lunch set，还是在炮台山，就这种质素？不理解甜品和汤也非常普通

It was a nice meet-up with my bro who came a “looong” way from Taiwan.The place was clean and the greeting was cheerful. I picked my fav chicken Parmesan, nicely cooked and juicy chicken steak.Finished with with crepe (can’t recall the flavour but it’s also quite nice)Perfect place for causal lunch

Happy Friday😗 又到了开心星期五，梗系想揾d好野食下，比e度既青口吸引来了🤭1kg Frites House Mussels 🦪冇失望🫶🏻青口胀卜卜鲜甜得很，加埋忌廉汁好creamy，上面仲有d 干葱番茄洋葱调味，用面包🥖或者薯条🍟蘸埋啲汁嚟食，正宗👍🏻Salmon Tartare 🍣 简单来说，美味的开胃菜🤭Classic Steak Frites🍟牛排的牛味都足既，肉质嫩滑，食落仍然保留肉汁，几juicy下😂薯条超脆口，忍唔住食完一定要一条🤫Pizza Margherita 🍕 Pizza相对就普通啲，芝士🧀都好足下
