So I called in to make a reservation for 9 for lunch time. I was the first one there to make sure I met the reservation time. Having sat down for less than 3min, the owner starts yelling at me and telling me to leave the restaurant. She said I was not allowed to sit on the table which I had made the reservation to. what on earth kind of service is this!? while she was yelling at me to leave, the rest of the guest at my table arrived. She didnt even apologised and walked off.
The food was not particularly good for its price.
DONT'S:
1. Do not order Chinese soup, its terrible.
2. Do not order steak, its hard as hell. mostlikely pre-cooked and microwaved warmed when an order comes in.
3. Do not order its curry beaf. The curry was ok but the beef was terribly tough and hard.
The only good side i experienced was the large portions of food they served. However, what is the point of a large portion of food if you can't finish it cause it tastes terrible.
Having just finished the meal and started drinking my lemon ice tea, the owner comes strolling and tells me to pay and leave. She says there are people waiting for the table and I have finished eating. I told her I've just started with my drink, which was part of the set meal they served in lunch. Regardless, she brought the bill, pointed at it, and made us pay.
This was the worse experience of Hong Kong lunch ever. rude, badly catered, rubbish food. and the price was fairly high (i.e. HKD75 for a Steak lunch set).
That will be the last time I eat there again.
