Walked into a 'Vietnamese' restaurant where more than half the patrons were not of Asian descent and you know you're in trouble... A Caucasian lady took my order, I clearly and unequivocally told her that I would like to have no vegetables in my beef pho. Voila, the same Caucasian lady came and served me my beef pho came with all the herbs you could imagine. I told her that I asked for no vegetables, she bluntly told me that I asked for no vegetables and not no herbs. To my chagrin, I understand that the only vegetables of any sort served with the pho are these so called herbs, so effectively I got served a standard bowl of pho with no adjustments. The same Caucasian lady walked away without a care in the world, without asking if anything could be done let alone offering me a new bowl of pho. So I had to ask for a bowl to pick out all the 'not vegetables but herbs', mind you, infront of her. Tldr: herbs are not vegetables. Order no vegetables and you get the herb cluster bomb surprise. Moreover, the lukewarm soup opposed to the piping hot ones outside were obviously unable to cook through the raw beef patty that was apparently the signature part of the pho - in turn, leading to many visits of the bathroom.

Incredibly disappointing experience - we went on a Friday night and was very busy, tables were so close to each other - for that price they’re charging I was hoping for just a tiny little more space. Anyway, I can get over the fact that it was not a good atmosphere — but the food was awful! Not authentic / traditional at all - they have added their own twist… they completely improvised their version of Pho. Waste of time - just really disappointing.

Food is great. Nice pho. Nice bun. But awful dining experience.From the moment I placed my order, everything went wrong. I tried to order 3-4 times, but all the staff ignored me. It was 9 o'clock, and the last order was at 9:30. Everyone seemed rushed to wrap up for the night.I had been working all day and missed my lunch, so I rushed here for a quick bite and was absolutely starving. If you're not welcoming guests at 9 o'clock, why set the last order at 9:30?Eventually, I managed to place my order. But then, 30 minutes went by without a single waiter checking on me. I overheard a waitress telling her colleague that they had missed my order. A long day of work, 30 mins of waiting and this is what happens?Finally, a waitress came to tell me that they had missed my order and that I needed to reorder. WHAT?Not until I raised my word did someone promised me for a dinner. And BANG my dish was ready under a minute. Turns out they could cook the meal within a minute but NAH they just happened to miss out my order and wasted 30 mins.The manager apologized and said I didn’t need to pay for my meal, as if I was complaining just to get a free dinner. I insisted on paying for my meal as I never grumble for a free dinner. I told the waitress again that I wanted to pay, but she ignored me once more.Another 10 minutes passed without anyone handling my bill. After repeatedly asking for assistance, I finally got someone’s attention.So, I waited 30 minutes for a missing order and then another 10 minutes for my bill. WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU GUYS? Are you all just relaxing for a Friday night?If you’re not ready to serve, just close the door and enjoy your Friday night. If you want to earn and have a good time afterward, then just do your job and enjoy your night after your shift.This was an awful dining experience—totally unacceptable. I've been a fan of Co Thanh for years, but tonight I am totally disappointed. To be honest, the food was great; I have to admit that. But I won’t be returning again. A big NO for the awful service.The manager was trying her best to manage the situation, but no one can handle a group of lazy staff with poor manners.Shame on Co Thanh. It’s such a shame that they’re dragged by awful service despite the great food.A BIG NO.

walked in wed late lunch ,roomy and clean environment with hip background music , had pho ga the chicken soup with hand cut noodle , which in a fine texture of flatten rice noodle , soup base clear and tasty top with shredded chicken meats & herbs , side with chilli for enhancing , snack of cha gio the spring rolls , filled with pork and taro , crispy outer and soft inner the fresh of ingredients of tastes , side with salted sauce ,overall good portion ,friendly and helpful service
