Wanted to try something new today, so I have ordered from this restaurant through a delivery platform.The food they offer is quite unique because I have never eaten something similar before. What I have ordered is called pockets, and it comes with a pita bread. I would not say the food is stunning, but I think it worth a try👍🏻

之前趁住某外卖平台有自取优惠，又想食下中东菜，就试左呢间主打鹰嘴豆既餐厅，机会难得梗系要试下招牌菜式👻🐮手撕牛腩配鹰嘴豆蓉碗(Slaw Only) 加配🥭Amba(辣芒果酱)份量唔细，鹰嘴豆蓉同牛腩都比得好重手，但唔知系咪比漏左鹰嘴豆球🤔? 先试下招牌鹰嘴豆蓉，质感好滑极杰身，但系个后劲都几咸下😣牛腩极多，肉味好浓郁但系韧，啲肉汁仲要沉晒底，搞到成碗野变到极浓味🥵因为太重口味既关系，食左几啖原味已经忍唔住要倒晒个辣芒果酱落去。酱汁味道系先甜后辣带啲微酸，略带啲香料味，芒果味都几出，好开胃好好食👍🏻多得个酱先食得晒脆皮塔面包同凉拌椰菜其实都唔错，只系整体味道过浓左，冇个酱真系搞唔掂，或者唔叫牛腩会好啲。另外本身个价位偏高，原价有啲肉赤😕有优惠先会考虑再挑战

First time here and I tried the falafel hummus bowl as recommended in other reviews here. Portion is good, with 4 pieces of falafel, big bowl of rice+salad (i chose half half). Falafel is quite delicious, baked crispy on the outside and very dense (super filling). I like the pickled vegs which add a freshness to the bowl. Hummus is very smooth and nutty👍🏻 however I think overall combined its very dry, maybe because of the falafel + rice… perhaps more hummus would be better. Too dry & filling that I could not finish half the bowl… lol But overall okay and might try out other dishes next time!

[ Chickpea | 中环 ]I went to their Wanchai branch and was very satisfied with the quality of their food so decided to try their Central one too. Unlike Wanchai, there is no seating here, only a small bar table which sucks but you can always takeaway to a nearby bench and eat. —— —— Falafel hummus bowl $100Their falafels are delicious as always. Super crunchy on the outside, tender and fluffy on the inside. I personally like that it is a little dry as that means it is perfect with the hummus. Even though they deep fry it, it is not oily nor greasy. Each live is also really big which is always a bonus. They give 3 falafels in this bowl and one additional one to all of the bowls which is more than enough. A generous scoop of hummus is given and it might be the best I’ve ever had but it does get a bit heavy after a while due to the amount of tahini they used. The hummus is extremely smooth and velvety, like the texture of smooth peanut butter that just sticks onto your mouth. A bit one dimensional in flavors so it definitely needs the falafel’s spice. I asked for half rice and half slaw to get a taste of everything and this was the correct choice. The rice is savory and flavorful and hearty. It is also quite dry (basmati rice) so it goes perfectly with the hummus. The slaw is very refreshing and crisp with cabbage, lettuce, red onions and cucumbers. All tossed in a light and acidic Lebanese dressing. The red onions are especially pungent and offer a very sharp flavor that cuts the hummus very well. The portion of both are also very sufficient, you won’t feel one is more than the other. There are also come pickled vegetables including radish, cucumbers and a jalapeño. They are nice but pretty average and could be crispier and spicier. For this price, the portion is very sufficient and much more filling than their pockets. —— —— 推介 🙆🏻♀️💬 Overall, a lovely lunch with a newfound hummus.
