活化后的 中环街市已变成不少市民和旅客慕名而来的热门景点,今次就来到位于底层的西餐厅 Chef's Cuts ,隐藏在精品超市内,周边放满欧陆杂货,有如置身在欧洲的市集中用餐,气氛跟一般扒房截然不同,给人一种写意放松的感觉。龙虾,海虾法式牛油软包 $218Brioche包身够挺,入口带有微甜的牛油香,烘焙出外层轻脆的口感,内里松软有弹性,同一时间能吃到虎虾的弹牙及龙虾的鲜甜,新鲜啖啖肉,配上浓滑的千岛酱调味,巧妙地突出其鲜味。植物肉番茄牛油果墨西哥夹饼 $148有别于美墨式常见的酥脆口感,墨西哥当地以柔软、韧性佳的玉米饼皮为正宗,植物肉不论是味道或质感几可乱真,混合牛油果、番茄莎莎和酸忌廉多款配料,令人胃口大开,打破大家对素食寡淡无味的刻板印象。拖肥布甸,云尼拿意式雪糕,蜂巢糖脆 $85将烘得温热的拖肥布甸伴云尼拿雪糕,带来一冷一热的双重感官体验,拖肥布甸是经典英式甜点,质地湿软黏密,带有浓浓黑糖香气。吃完正餐意犹未尽,还可到旁边的 Chef's Market ,一试中环街市限定的超人气打卡甜品 - 杜拜脆朱古力开心果法式可丽饼$58 ,手工制作的饼皮外脆内软,表面洒上粒粒开心果碎,包裹杜拜脆朱古力和浓郁香醇的开心果朱古力酱,赶上近期大热的开心果热潮,散发果仁芳香。加一球意式雪糕只需$20,总共有八款口味选择,这次我就自选了开心果味和紫薯香芋,Gelato 质感绵密幼滑略带黏性,空气含量少,溶化速度亦较慢,微热的饼底与冰冻的雪糕,一热一冷,冲击味蕾。
