The service at Busan Night was outstanding. From the warm welcome to the attentive staff, every detail was managed perfectly. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, showcasing a genuine enthusiasm for the dishes. Water glasses were refilled promptly, and the timing of each course was well-coordinated, allowing us to savor every bite without feeling rushed. I regretted re-visiting this restaurant without studying the comments online, and felt sorry for my friends whom I brought there.差到难以置信嘅用餐经验I was a 8-9 times visitor to this restaurant before, but had been missing the place the last few months since my friends and I could not do weekday dinners as often now. We used to like the place and the food despite that it is some times lousy and service could get a bit clumsy at times with very young staff. We understood it takes time to train and F&B industry can get tough. We also had the chance to meet the owners once and their passion in their business really impressed us.My friend and I were thrilled when I suggested a weekday early dinner at BUSAN Night. The evening started well, I brought 2 more friends, and we planned an early start at 6:30pm, thought we will finish by 8:30pm. We did not make any reservation but we came very early. There were only 2 tables eating when we arrived.Food was great, a few orders were missed but we were ok. We got our food without much demand for service, staff not super friendly or helpful, but again, we are 10x times returning customers: we were fine.Things turned sad when at 7:30pm, a staff came just to hand us a bill, gesturing us to pay. We were confused, but we did then ask if there is a time for the table. The staff reluctantly replied yes. So we gently checked what that rule would be (as there were no obvious sign of message, nor did anyone mentioned this when we were given the table, but we do understand that such rule might exist). The staff, slightly revealed a mean look, told us if we are not ordering alcoholic drinks there is a time limit keeping the table. So I asked how long then? He said 1hr 30mins. So I double-confirmed if we have to return the table at 8pm and there is 30mins left. The staff replied with a more exact time, handed me the bill again without asking we have any last order or if we would want any alcoholic drinks. So I paid. while we weren’t even given the option to order more rice to go with the soup that was untouched, or order more drinks. I know we were low-spending customers with an average $300 per head spending. And they are getting busy.So we were planning to take our leave around 8pm but the chat was going on half-way so we delayed. All of a sudden a staff came removing the dishes so from our table (the table was kept messy throughout the dinner even we apparently did not have enough space for our food orders). When the staff was taking away the bottle of water provided by the restaurant, I asked to refill my 350ml tumbler with the remaining 200ml water inside the bottle.The staff, with an angry and rude gesture, grabbed the bottle and replied : the water is only for dine-in purpose, if you want to refill your tumbler please go somewhere else.My friends and I looked at each other, I asked if I had done anything bad or rude throughout the dinner that caused me to deserve such attitude.We left the restaurant feeling unwelcomed, and I regretted so much choosing to dine here and even bringing my friends. Our lovely reunion night was almost ruined by this place.For any possible reason, I don’t think a diner deserves to be treated in such poor , ill-mannered way.客人做错咩令server觉得可以用呢种态度?Farewell, busan night.
