不是不吃肉,只是年纪渐大,不像二十出头时,餐餐都必须要有一大块的鸡排或炸猪排。由于我不吃牛肉,因此绝少上扒屋,香港也甚少类似台湾在路边卖炸鸡排的摊子,因此偶尔嘴馋,想要大口大口咬著肉时,便会约三五好友一起到海边烧烤。烧烤费时且路程远,大口咬下肉汁四溢的汉堡便成为想吃肉时的最佳选择。这是第三次来到Burger Republic了,店内相当干净、明亮,开放式的厨房可以看清楚大厨烤著汉堡肉令人用餐更感到放心。当Chicken Mexicana一端上桌时,香味立刻刺激我在脑海搜索前两次的回忆,这次多了更浓烈的香料味,拿起约莫12公分高的大大汉堡一口咬下,鸡肉混合著酱汁立刻于嘴中溶化四溢,与浓烈的香料构成极佳搭配。一个60元的汉堡加一成服务费对我而言决不便宜,若要加上炸薯条或沙拉还得再掏出23元,我老是觉得是有点贵。所幸每次离开Burger Republic都会获得满足的幸福感,这次也不例外。下次再来,不知道还会不会有更上一层楼的体验呢?

见到门口张 Burger Poster,觉得几吸引,仲加$1有 salad 同 drink,都OK㖞,入嚟试吓先。座位都几舒服,我 order咗MO ($64) ,而我个 friend就要 sunshine($60),我哋谂住加$1有 salad 同 drink,点知要喺Mon & Tue 先有呢个优惠,我哋加咗 $23有fries + drink, 单 order 气水要$14。MO - 好大个饱,有生菜、蕃茄、洋葱、Cheese、mushroom,当然仲有牛肉汉宝啦,生菜和蕃茄都好新鲜,Mushroom都几香,牛肉十分 juicy,又有牛肉味。Sunshine - 基本上同MO差不多,但就用 Pineapple 代替 Mushroom,朋友话好味,块 Pineapple 甜甜酸酸,冇咁"漏",yummy。Fries 又大条又脆,好味呀。价钱少少贵,下次都喺 Mon or Tue 先嚟食啦。

H考试后专程坐电车到这里试H&K都喜爱吃的BURGERH 点 mushroom burger ==> good taste, soft bread, juicy meat, lot of mushroomK 点 cheese burger ==> good taste总括来说食物质素可以接受,但并不算突出,但不明为何这样的快餐点也要加一服务费!日后想吃BURGER时,以差不多的价钱,H&K会有更好的选择啦!

上星期五同同事黎呢度食LUNCH。同事话LUNCH 时间好FULL﹐所以之前打电话BOOK左位。12:45去到﹐仲有空位﹐不过大部份都已经RESERVED 左。地方虽然吾大﹐但都几干净﹐卡位坐得好舒服。我要左其中一个MENU上推荐的 MEXCIANA CHICKEN﹐朋友同我一样。加$28就可以跟薯条/沙律同汽水。我地一个跟薯条﹐一个跟沙律﹐仲可以叫餐厅帮我地分埋。之前系OPENRICE上面见到食评﹐都知道会几大碟﹐食物黎到比想象中更加大。个包入面个AVACADO 酱汁好好味道﹐旧鸡好滑﹐菜亦好新鲜﹐果然系一分价钱一分货﹐$60食物个包都算值得。伴菜既沙律新鲜﹐个汁都系自己整﹐好味!! 薯条都有水准﹐一D都吾会油腻。同事加钱要左杯BAILEY MILKSHAKE﹐话吾错。下次黎我会想试下个"MO" (MUSHROOM BURGER)! 卖单每人$100 左右﹐虽然贵左D﹐但系食物有水准﹐不枉此行!

唔知几时开始burger个size系越黎越大个d由老麦的个种size, 到而家个size要用刀叉食, 呢个转变都真系几大下今次就去了造间到寻食一番去到可能仍然早, 6:30, 条街无咩人的睇过晒成条街有咩食先入黎呢间食 (歌赋街既restaurants其实都唔错的)入到去想坐window seat, 不过有人reserved, 咁就是但坐一到了Food that orderedMO, All Day Brekkie , Mozzarella Gravy Chips, vanilla milkshake, strawberry milkshakeBurgersthe bugers had been baked a bit, that's why the surface was a bit crispy but soft inside, very nicethe meat...well, i supposed it will be juicy, but not, even worse is, no juice at all. it happened on both burgers. very badBasically, if the meat isn't good, the burger is not good either. The ChipsWhen it came on the table, we could tell that it was totally overcook by the colour. but the good thing is the cheese and gravy did help to increase the flavour.Milkshake (I ordered banana milkshake, but the outcome was vanilla milkshake)Both milkshakes were very thick, but smooth. And they tasted like the Diary Farm's ice-cream flavour.Overall is in averageof course the cook can improve on how to handle the meat.Place is nice, very relax decoration.Service was not bad, except the wrong milkshake order.
