曾几何时,我每一次去到伦敦,听见《Angus Steakhouse》这两个字一定会色变。原因是什么? 是因为年少时去过 Leicester Square 的一家同品牌的《Aberdeen Steakhouse》,吃了一餐令到的 "依牙松钢" 既晚餐。再加上用餐后多年在网上看到该店的评价,令我觉得,当年的一餐是我食牛扒的人生最低点。所以,《Angus/Aberdeen Steakhouse》,对我来说,可以说是有好大既阴影。然而,有一天,同朋友说起在《Angus/Aberdeen Steakhouse》中过伏的趣事后,我在湾仔的 Brim 28 看到《Angus Steakhouse》,心知此《Angus Steakhouse》一定不同彼《Angus Steakhouse》,刚好有朋友找我食饭的一天,我专程来拜访一下。 约了朋友中午一食,一人一份 today set lunch。点好餐之后,就端来一人一片的热辣辣面包。香喷喷的欧式面包,内心软软的,入口也是带少少香甜味。不需要牛酒,也不需要醋,就咁食,已经很香口。 是日的餐汤是一个很浓香的杂菜汤。浓,是因为汤加上了芝士;浓,也是因为汤的中央放了一旧很可爱的面包。有少少来自芝士的 creamy 口感,有蕃茄的酸甜味,也有其他杂菜混合的香味,不错。 牛扒,是西冷扒 (Grilled Sirloin Steak),看得出是充满肉汁,很 juicy 的一块扒。牛扒煎出来,肉的表面充满了肉油肉汁的光泽。配菜有南瓜,有薯蓉,再加上蘑菇汁,感觉完美。而且,牛扒的肉汁,渗透到底,令配菜也充满了可口的牛肉味,非常之美妙。 羊,是羊柳 (Baby Lamb Fillet),用上了蘑菇汁在配上南失及杂菜。而蘑菇汁内,早已混合了专配羊肉的薄荷酱,此酱兴嫩滑的羊肉配合起来,的确是充满味道。羊肉很嫩,带有足够而不浓烈的羊膻香,令间唔中会喜欢食羊的我得到了应有的小满足。 朋友加点了是日甜品,是 Peach Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream。蛋糕带有很香的桃味,我虽没有食,但看得出是自家 home made 的出品。当日,我同朋友分一人一半的,而我就要了雪糕的那一部份。雪糕的奶油味道很香很重,非常好。 餐后,来一杯浓浓的咖啡,苦涩中带甘香,是我最喜欢的种类。 此不同彼,此《Angus Steakhouse》是有足够水准的。不过,在我执笔点评时,此名已经易名写《Grill 28》,出品雷同。亦同是《Al Dente》既成员。

4 friends and I went to this restaurant for dinner last month around 8pm. The restaurant was not busy and so we were seated immediately. We have 5 people, and they seated us at a 4 person table and offered to add an additional chair . But we complained that it was too small to fit us all plus food. So the supervisor dragged a round table over to extend the table, but since this was an awkward seating for us 5 people, we asked if they could move the neighbouring rectangular table over. The supervisor was reluctant to help us and tried to convince us that the current arrangement was fine. The supervisor finally helped move the rectangular table over with our assistance after some debate. The supervisor then demanded us to move the tables back after our meal. What kind of service is this?!!! Was he disrespecting us because we are not westerners?! We then decided to leave, and all the supervisor said was 'up to you'. We were quite angry and ate the restaurant next door. We probably won't come back here again, but wish that you can train your staff better. I feel like we have better service at a local fast food restaurant or 'dai pai dong'! And this is supposed to be an upscale restaurant.

差不多一年没有来了,对上一次是上年的情人节来的,从女朋友的身分变成了太太再来这里享用午餐。可能是刚好遇上繁忙的午餐时段,在门口等侯了5分钟左右,店员安排了一张沙发卡位给我们。午餐menu中,我们分别order 了一份西冷牛排、一份猪扒。下单后没多久,店员就为我们送上餐汤&餐包今日系甘笋汤,好浓郁,吃起来啖啖甘笋蓉好清甜。接下来主菜来了,我的西冷牛排五成熟,炭烧味很香,肉质保持到嫩又多汁,配菜都系冇得顶,烤南瓜、红萝卜、彩椒、西兰花,底下再有薯蓉,全部都好好味老公那份猪扒也十分好吃,肉质鲜嫩配菜也很好吃最后还有这个甜品结尾,估唔到跟餐的甜品都咁出色,香蕉蛋糕+云呢拿雪糕,个香蕉蛋糕做法系好似提拉米苏非常精致

年三十仲要开工, 个个都出去饮茶/中菜食团年lunch, 所以我哋决定食个西餐实有位, 三里屯西餐选择多, 睇过menu比较过价钱及款式后对Angus较有兴趣, 3个course都系$118起, 未逗利是都系要悭住荷包. 第一次帮衬, 之前无做research这餐厅既来头/食评, 食完之后才知道原来是Al dente group, 唔怪得pasta比steak出色. Menu选择多, Main分别有意粉, 意大利云吞, 鱼, 牛, 羊. Starter可选汤/沙律, Caesar Salad沙律菜爽脆, 酱汁味道刚好, 唯独欠烟肉碎.Today pasta: "Crab Meat Tomato pasta". 心大心细拣steak 定pasta时, 当我这个蟹痴一听到today pasta系蟹肉.....即拣呢个. 蟹肉虽然不多, 但扁面弹牙, 简单用橄榄油, 白酒, 蒜头加车厘茄炒香已好惹味, 份量够大食得好满足. 果然系Al dente group出品, 意粉最稳阵.同事拣西冷, 厚度似肉眼, 卖相吸引, $136抵㖞. 不过食后才知牛扒不可随便试, 虽则炭烧味浓, 但肉质真系太干, 放凉后仲干, 见同事咀嚼好耐先可吞下. 第3个course我哋无拣甜品, 见到邻枱的是干争争既蛋糕配雪糕实在不太吸引, 加上我们食完main已好饱.
