There are a lot of restaurants in Stanley 11 and we picked an Italian one - Amici (means friends in English). The restaurant isn’t big, the lighting is just right, providing a cozy atmosphere to sit back and relax.We came for the 4 courses set dinner menu ($428+10%),$60 add-on only for a glass of wine.Forgot to take picture for the bread service. A pretty good start, nothing fancy though.2 options available for appetisers, I picked ravioli. Not a big fan of oxtail ravioli, prefer more creamy and cheesy one.Daily soup - potato soup with sour taste from the green apple, quite appetising 3 options available for main coursesI go for Sea bass stuffed with monk fish liverIt’s ok but the fish is a bit dry. The saffron cream sauce is good. Another option - deep fried lamp chopOr steak with bone marrow. Coffee/Tea and desserts are included in the set. The Tiramisu is surprisingly good, great idea to mix the mint leaves with Tiramisu, interesting and refreshing!Except for the dessert, nothing is really impressive, overall not bad though. The 4 of us decided to have dinner at this restaurant with a customized menu.As hors d'oeuvres, we were given a trio of egg, cheese and lobster salad.As appetizers, came a piece of smoked salmon sprayed with a whisky mist, plus a blob of cream cheese. I didn’t finish the cheese, a bit too heavy for me.Then came the red prawns. Not as meaty as I would have hoped.Hilight of the meal was the crab in peppery tomato sauce. We were each given a side of linguine to go with the sauce. I particularly liked the sweet taste of the tomato coming through. Meat dish was a piece of thin cut Australian M5 wagyu. A bit too much salt. Didn’t need gravy. Baked garlic was soft and sweet. Didn’t give me bad breath after (as far as I know).In summary : nice place for casual dining. 继续阅读

Finally got to try this cute little tavern in the heart of Central that serves European Cuisine. The environment is very vintage and kind of colonial. It's like somewhere from the 90s, which gives a nostalgic vibe that we really enjoyed.We ordered dinner sets with bread, appetizer, soup, main, dessert, coffee/tea and wine. The wine we chose was Riesling and was a bit too sweet for our taste.The appetizer that first came along is the Soft Shell Crab with mango Napoleon. They matched surprisingly well and was quite refreshing indeed. The second dish was the Creamy Soup with Bacon and Welsh Onion. The texture was on the point and it was indeed quite filling.The main course that I ordered was the Seabass with spinach and potatoes. The seabass was rolled together with the spinach, making it look like a sausage. Very cute looking and tasted tender. Nice cooking method indeed.The other main course was Beef Tenderloin. We ordered a medium rare one, yet it was a little bit overly cooked. Room for improvement!The dessert was vanilla ice cream with chocolate brownie and walnut. Nothing really outstanding here, just your normal brownie that always tasted good and evil.All in all, it was a very sumptuous and satisfying meal. The atmosphere and food were all enjoyable. Amici星期3约左我闺密去撑枱脚,今次拣左系中环既Amici,位置方便容易搵,地铁站出过马路,行一条街就转右就到啦。上到去气氛好好,灯光较暗,布置好高贵,全店深色为主调。当晚有时令大闸蟹精选套餐,而我和闺密都选了龙虾套餐。前菜:蓝水晶虾薄片这个前菜超级惊喜,有三文鱼子及鱼子酱一见到晶凝通透我们一看以为是鱼刺身在底,吃深一层再细嚼非常鲜甜的虾刺身味,再配合鱼子酱是桌越的。汤:soup of the day萝卜鸡丝汤现在时代进步,”dining experience”吃个晚餐客人都会想要互动或参与制作当中,有些餐厅会在你面前装饰,而这汤概念就是在你面前倒出热呼呼的清汤,在碗里已有充足汤料,然後靓汤在透明爵杯壶,可以保留它的热度,清清的鲜甜鸡汤味,为之後食主菜清一清味蕾。主菜:扒龙虾拼海斑鱼半只龙虾上碟,很久没有吃grilled lobster啦,Grill得非常可口味道适中,龙虾味浓郁仲有很多龙虾膏,配菜亦都配合得很好,龙虾钳亦是最期待的位置,厚肉!配以海斑鱼皮脆肉滑,有咬口,香味十足。甜品:焗菠萝酥皮配椰子雪糕雪糕这是另一个欣赏之作,平时不吃甜品的我把它清光光了!这配搭是由pina colada的concept现身的,非常清新,刚好把刚刚浓郁的主菜,令味蕾中和一下,将这晚餐划上完美的句号。有美中不足的地方就是应该配以一杯白酒,下次再来的时候我必会白酒配海鲜,这更能带出鲜味。 继续阅读
