说来惭愧,身为西贡人但却一次都没有带过老公🍋来吃。这天经过,老公问我甚么是斯里兰卡菜🤔,也难怪他,斯里兰卡菜在香港的确罕见,不知道也是正常的,多说没用,就直接让他体验一下好了😎。餐厅装饰犹如小木屋🏠一样,内有三角拱形的木制天花,墙上挂著很多当地的风景照🏞。由于斯里兰卡也属热带国家🔥,吃的跟印度很相似,主要都是以辣🌶、甜等为主。食物则以咖哩🍛及豆类为主,另外因为宗教关系,这家店是没有提供猪肉的🐷。黑咖哩羊肉🐏:为了让老公🍋可以好好体验斯里兰卡菜,特意挑了这一道菜给他。黑咖哩🍛口味纯正,先将香料分开烤烘至黑褐色🖤(每种香料所能承受的温度不一,分别烘烤是成功的关键),从而诱发出浓郁的香味。之后再经过研磨及烹调,就成了面前这一道菜🍛。店主为了迎合香港人的口味,特意设立了4种辣度🌶供客人选择,非常贴心。对比印度咖哩🍛,斯里兰卡的比较稀,亦不油腻。羊肉🐏没带一点膻味,咀嚼间辣味🌶缓缓渗出,唯一失色的是肉质比较靭。油酥饼🍞:暖暖的油酥饼,酥脆但一点也不油腻,用来伴黑咖哩吃甚是滋味😋。Mango Lassi🍹:芒果乳酸饮品,吃咖哩必备,甜甜酸酸的很醒胃👍🏻。总结:很欣赏店主👨🏻🍳为客人用心制作的食物,特色小店越来越少,衷心希望AJ’s能够将斯里兰卡的风土文化让更多人认识💝。

「斯里兰卡菜?」不少人头上出现同样问号。香港作为美食之都, 云集世界各地美食, 但竟然未曾尝过斯里兰卡菜。今天专程远渡西贡, 一尝这个印度最南端的名菜。装潢甚具文族特色, 以木材作为店铺的主要格调。墙上亦挂上不少当地地图, 让食客了解一下当地的二三事。(图右) 黑咖哩羊肉(中辣) $110必食度⭐⭐⭐⭐咖哩充满黑白胡椒香味, 表面不油腻, 有别于一般咖哩。(图左) 油酥饼 $45必食度⭐⭐⭐⭐非常松软, 配以黑咖哩一并食用, 口感非常特别。必食推介。

我食到辣但唔好辣,不过听到朋友话想食斯里兰卡菜当生日饭,我当然无问题啦,而且佢mention到有黑咖哩,听到都吸引,就胆粗粗去试!见到黑咖哩羊,正!羊唔太so,但d黑咖哩汁坚辣,食落口都未太感觉到辣,亦唔系台湾果种麻辣,但只要配埋米粉食,吸晒d汁,哗!果种慢慢辣出来既辣,都真系唔野少,汗都出晒来,一口气都饮晒成杯几水,所以钟意食辣既人,必定要试!另外个薯鱼辣椒球,系红辣椒既辣,但唔强,入面系鱼同薯蓉,味几浓,不过多脆而内软,加埋酱(已经忘记个汁咩味,因为太辣),口感唔错。最后系side dish,辣野菜,将椰菜、洋葱等菜蔬切碎加辣,沟埋系最野味,食到少少「short short」声,清新嘅辣,所以三种辣,三种味度,好特别!

I meant to go there for ages and finally we did. I found everyone very friendly, i was impressed with the service. the decor is nice and homely too.food unfortunately was really salty. it was tasty but way too much salt unfortunately.I would say we were unlucky but we ordered 3 dishes and they were all too salty and I am not someone who eats without salt.we ate all anyway as we were really hungry. we just had to order the double amount of drinks...I usually like Sri Lankan food.

A group of Friends went Hiking at Sai Sung during the Easter holidays. I suggested to try this SriLankar restaurant for lunch as the comment from openrice looks good and the price also seems reasonable. Luckily, the overall experience is out of expectations. All six friends are from different background felt very satisfied and felt it's a good choice. We all took mini bus from Kwun Tong and arrived Sai Lung around 1150. We only called the restaurant to check if seat is available when we got off the mini bus. When we arrived, they well prepared us the table and we were the first group of guests. There are almost six options of set lunch (inclusive of drink) priced is about $100plus @. We decided to order three sets and order other a la cart menu. Surprisingly, the food are tasty and special. We don't have much expectation and we thought it might be very similar to other Indian cuisines, we very enjoyed everything almost everything we ordered. I personally particularly liked the spring roll very different from Chinese spring roll and Indian samosa. I also liked the soup comes together with the set lunch and the beetroot and gothamba roti. I didn't order the masala Tea because I don't want to drink much fluid before hiking, but my friends took two cups as she loved it much.
