I was able to book the last Saturday lunch available before it will be closed. They have a specific menu called Wine Not Tasting Menu with wine pairing. The restaurant had a lovely view it was such a great day outside.The amuse bouche was slightly changed and again the meringue should be ate first. It was a lovely tomato flavor and was really refreshing.The ingredients of the first dish all seemed strange initially but wow they made it into a great dish. The sweetness of the watermelon and tartness of the tomato complemented the tartare well and the black olive ice cream was fragrant without being overbearing. The dish totally makes you want more.The flavor of the carpaccio of the second dish was spot on. However, the "tart" base was unfortunately very hard. I had a bit of difficulty to cut into it.The lamb was absolutely tender and moist. It was seasoned well the amount of sauce was just right to wrapping the lamb without spilling on the side and ruining the elegance of the dish. Again the savory Comte matched the white chocolate so well. In view there is no cocoa, the bitterness won't affect the dish. The burnt white chocolate also added a lovely color to the dish.I totally looked forward to the Grand Dessert and it definitely didn't disappoint. I definitely preferred the chocolate one this time and their sorbetwas berry flavored which was a better combo.  I am definitely going to miss this place 继续阅读

Pierre, Man Wah and M Bar will be closing at the end of the month for renovation of the top floor of Mandarin Oriental Hotel and it was only recently that I have been to try out Pierre, one of the most prestigious French fine-dining restaurants in Hong Kong. The menu we tried was the Memories of Pierre tasting menu consisting of 9 courses. Overall experience was superb, a dreamy, perfect getaway on a weekday night. My personal favourites were the langoustine, the veal and the cheese course. They may be quite fully booked for the rest of the month, but if you get a chance please do pay a last visit. 作為傳統高級五星酒店入面餐廳,服務我自己覺得比外面同樣米芝蓮星級餐廳更好👍🏽之前試過峴港被評為全球十大餐廳之一嘅La Maison 1888 十分滿意,於是揾個藉口朋友生日,去試文華東方入面同為名廚Pierre Gagnaire旗下主理嘅 Pierre ,不過香港嘅Pierre 就顯得平平無奇,最好算係個鵝肝湯😋其他菜式味道平實,主菜魚同牛仔肉都好嫩滑,但可惜未有一道菜令我覺得有驚喜,只可以話以尼個價錢食到嘅合理、合格!👌🏻冇令我之後值得回味嘅菜式招牌牛油🧈 继续阅读

今年選了在Pierre慶祝好友生日. 疫請雖稍為放緩但文華酒店防疫措施非常到位, 是晚在Pierre吃飯大家吃得很安心又開心. 7道菜晚餐, 份量精準. 憑著多年追⭐️經驗, 這裏不會像其他星級餐廳吃完前面的course已吃不下甜品或Petit Four. 有細意品嚐甜品的空間, 所以很覺得很完滿. Honestly the photos don’t justify the taste, service and ambience. Having been to Pierre Gagnaire restaurant in Seoul, Pierre in HK really is a top notch Michelin Star dining experience. Perfect for celebration and a special occasion. Such a wonderful experience and we will definitely come back again. 继续阅读

聖誕節同另一半黎呢度食飯慶祝,三個月前就訂定window seat, 期待左好耐終於到聖誕節。餐廳好貼心咁比左個靚海景位我地坐,加上早到,感覺好似包場咁非常舒適。文華酒店一向都不會令人失望,每間餐廳的服務同食物水準都十分之高,所以每次節日都揀呢個酒店食飯慶祝。我地揀左個tasting menu, 職員好細心知道我唔太肚餓就幫我同request左由6道菜減到4道。頭盤個生蠔非常新鮮,仲有淡淡的海水味。之後個signature龍蝦都好彈牙好鮮甜,擺盤又靚。主菜係鹿肉,有烤同燉兩種煮法,肉質鮮嫩有驚喜。成晚最開心嘅係個grand dessert, 有4樣咁多,加埋chef送嘅綠茶撻,足足食左5樣甜品。去fine dining最怕食左味道太濃嘅食物,呢間比幾星期前再次光顧的Robuchon食物淡小小,本人比較欣賞。 继续阅读
