if ur on the hunt for a hidden gem that serves up authentic singaporean/ malay cuisine, look no-further than this award-winning resto tucked away inside a hotel. this place has it all, from the cozy ambiance to the mouthwatering dishes that keep u coming back for morei rlly like the bak kut teh- a rich herbal pork rib broth that’s both comforting and flavourful. roti is another must-try- so soft & flakyyy. and the cereal prawns too!!! these prawns r smothered in crispy cereal wowzzz. everything else is p solid, LOVEEE the noodles dishesand don’t even get me started on their desserts! the onde onde cake is a standout- it’s mildly sweet, fragrant and has the perfect balance of coconut & pandan flavours. i had 2 massive slices lmaooo in our tums- 🍢satay chicken🦐fried turnip cakes w prawns🍤cereal prawns🍛beef curry w roti🍗hainanese chicken rice🍲klang bakut teh 🍝penang char koay teow 🍜singapore laksa🥟kl wonton mee 🌶️water spinach fried w sambal 🥬fried bean sprouts w salted fish🍰onde onde cake (whole)🍮rolled pandan coconut crepeprice: $300-500 pp rating: 8/10revisit? yesss 继续阅读

有个业界朋友,佢同住喺香港嘅马来西亚人同新加坡人有联系,佢同我讲呢间餐厅好可能系全城最正宗嘅马来菜。虽然马来食物唔系我特别熟悉嘅嘢,但我好想试下。到咗餐厅之后,我发现佢系匿喺一间细细间嘅酒店入面。我哋冇预约,但好彩我哋早到,可以攞到张枱。乍看之下,呢间餐厅似乎唔系特别令人印象深刻,而门口嘅女接待员亦都唔算好欢迎我哋。不过,好嘅一面系食物原来都几好食,除咗一个值得注意嘅例外。咖喱鸡系一个令人失望嘅地方 — 淡淡地同埋缺乏味道。我朋友之前试过呢道菜好多次,佢话呢道菜系佢遇过最差嘅一道菜。喺更正面嘅角度嚟讲,Nasi Lemak系令人回味嘅。调味料啱啱好,饭煮得好完美。炸鸡虽然调味得好好,但系缺乏多汁,令我好想知佢系咪传统上系噉整。马来炒面亦都好味,油量啱啱好,但我忍唔住觉得佢比起任何明显嘅马来面更加似中式炒扁面。豆芽,标签系马来豆芽,好享受,我发现自己吞咗大部分。总括嚟讲,我有个愉快嘅体验,亦都好欣赏啲味道嘅真实性。虽然有几个错误嘅步骤,但系如果我再次发现自己喺呢个地区,我一定会考虑重新去。 继续阅读

Craving for Singapore/Malay hawker food when you are in Hong Kong? If you don’t mind paying 10 times more for food like Laksa, Hokkien Mee, Carrot Cake, Chee Kueh,Popiah and Pie Tee etc., and if you don’t mind having something unauthentic bearing similar look but different taste, try it out here. 今次同朋友到访大学站呢一间酒店食马来西亚餐厅。其实期望都几大,但系就….餐厅环境都算宽敞,唔会有好压迫的感觉。但服务就有待改善。食物方面我哋点咗只蟹,呢一个最令我失望,因为只会食到个胡椒味道,完全没有蟹味,相信我唔系见到只蟹,我唔会觉得自已食紧胡椒蟹。马来西亚贵叼冇咩特色,不过不失。炒萝卜糕,味道偏淡,串烧是最好味的,味道同埋酱汁都是一流。整体嚟讲,价钱贵、食物平平无奇冇咩特色、份量细份,性价比超低。相信未必有机会再来。 继续阅读
