One thing to note: when in Lai Chi Kok, it seems almost restaurant is closed on Sunday. With lack of choices, boyfriend and I went to the closest cha chan teng and that was 誰是老闆餐廳 (English name: The True Boss, not Trus Boss as Openrice states). There are two locations both in Lai Chi Kok. Both on the same block as well. But this one is closest the the MTR station. It is like any cha chan teng. Menu is in Chinese only. There is no 10% service charge. One thing to note; this place has a total of 5 HUGE TV screens. I assume around 60 inch screens. So, if you really like to watch tv while you eat, this is the place for you.Boyfriend upgraded his order with a sweet potato azuki bean drink for $10. It just tasted like powder. The azuki beans weren't even cooked and still raw. Boyfriend ordered a fried rice with egg and onion ($45). It was a pretty big portion. The rice was fluffy and not oily. It was nicely seasoned as well.I ordered the stir fried flat rice noodles with beef ($45). Again huge portions and it was served in a mini wok. I wonder why they do that? It was quite good. A rich savory taste. There was a lot of beef found throughout and it was still moist and tender with no taste of baking soda to tenderize it.Fairly good with large portions. No wonder so many people were eating here on a Sunday (or maybe it was due to the fact nothing else was open all around?)…查看更多
