同朋友好耐冇出嚟食饭,朋友提议食番啲特别啲嘅嘢,唔好再西餐日本嘢咁。我哋对印度嘢其实都情有独锺,香料令印度菜味道多元化,耐唔耐都会想食番次。做左啲research後发觉呢间隐藏系北角内街嘅印度餐厅大有来头,竟然系连续6年入围米芝莲推介餐厅之一。最神奇嘅系食物唔贵,甚至平过同类餐厅少少添,即刻就 book 咗位 lunch 去试下 三个字:掂! + 抵食! 嘢食质数好平均,样样都唔错。疫情关系都真系冇乜人堂食。铺头楼面其实都几大,当日连埋我哋都系得三枱人。不过可能系因为我哋去得晏啦 (我哋3点几先去 xD 因为见晏啲嘅时段嘢食会有优惠) 原本打算试下佢哋嘅 tulsi set,可以以小碟形式试多哋唔同菜式。但系就俾我地发现二人餐破天荒做紧 50% off, 系 50% OFF 啊!!! 超惊喜~ 仲要 menu 包嘅嘢好多,有汤、一个四款小食嘅 appetizer 组合、两款咖喱、配饭同埋Naan 薄饼、嘢饮都包。真系唔叫都对唔住自己。印度人店员好友善,其实佢识讲广东话,帮我哋上菜嘅时侯特登讲中文,好亲切 前菜嘅 set 包四款嘢食,系定咗嘅:羊肉 Seekh Kabab (系用 spice 腌过嘅免治羊肉香肠)、印度胡椒饼 Papadum (其实系薄脆嚟,跟咗两款 dips 可以点,一只系绿色嘅,另一只就莓味酸酸哋开胃)、好巨型嘅咖哩角 (馅料好足)、仲有超嫩滑嘅白汁鸡腩 Reshmi Kabab (味道浓郁得恰到好处,又唔会好油腻)俾大家睇下啲食物嘅合影先 — 我哋另外再嗌咗少少嘢所以望落咁壮观 呢款青瓜乳酪 Raita 系印度嘅特色菜之一,其实系冇乜味嘅,fresh 得嚟其实都几酸,但用嚟系咖喱与咖喱之间清吓味蕾,的确适合。朋友非常欣赏。芝士菠菜 Palak Paneer ($78)呢一味就我提议加嗌嘅,系我最锺意食嘅一款菜式之一。菠菜蓉同芝士方块超好送饭,用 Naan 点嚟食都好夹!本身套餐包 Masala Chicken, 店员好好,俾我哋转做 Butter Chicken,鸡肉煮得软身唔乾唔鞋,呢只汁就番茄味为住,香料比较简单,唔会太惹味。印度咖哩羊肉系佢哋招牌之一,呢只酱亦都系最经典款印度菜一定会食到嘅嗰只味,辨识度最高。都系点薄饼同捞饭食都一样好味。羊肉都有好5-6旧,大致都煮得腍身,都唔错。炒饭 Pulao Rice 都系餐包埋嘅,印度米比较乾身,捞咗咖喱汁之後都唔会变得好一 Pat Pat。後面嘅 Mango Lassi 其实即系芒果奶昔,香甜得嚟够细滑。朋友就嗌左 Masala Tea 印度奶茶,有得拣热嘅或者冻嘅,用小杯仔奉上。其实呢度有两种 Naan, 蒜蓉 Garlic Naan 系餐本身包嘅,而黑松露 Black Truffle Naan 就系因为见到好多人推介而另外嗌嘅。Naan 烟韧嘅口感就咁食都已经觉得好味,点咗咖喱之後黑松露嘅味其实已经被盖过咗。但要赞呢到嘅 Naan 份量都偏大块,够厚身但又唔会乾。口感岩岩好。本来都想试埋佢地既甜品,见到有印度雪糕几特别~但真系太饱喇,下次再嚟一定要试埋佢。总括黎讲系非常满意嘅一次用餐,埋单都只系每人 $180,可以一次过试到咁多野食,大满足啊 继续阅读

Not the best place to visit if it’s ultra cold... it seems to lack reasonable heating (and hot drinks..), but it does have a never ending menu of dishes!They do not seem to serve set meals on weekends, all tables come with bottled water (reminds me of actually eating in India!)Dishes tried:🍚 Pani Puri - crunchy outter shell, and sour sauce is served on the side, so you can tailor the sourness to your liking without soaking the crunchy shell.  Great starter to kick start your appetite!🍚 Tandoori Paneer Tikka - somewhat disappointing with the price vs the actual meal, the sizzling didn't really sizzle, and the panneer lacked some spices (could not really taste the masla or tumeric either).  It must be a very Hong Kong indian food - where most tandoori-type dishes tend to be served on a sizzling plate... Other dishes (ordered for 2 people, manage to finish the breads but still had left over curry!  Ultimately very full after the extravaganza)🍚 Butter Chicken - classic, and consistent with juicy tender chicken.🍚 Palak Paneer - came with massive chucks pf paneer, severed with a very creamy spinach sauce that was really good!  Highly recommend this veg curry (even for the meat lovers!)🍚 Assortment of breads: Garlic Naan, Paratha, Roti - Each bread was very authentic to its type (you can actual see the distinctness of them), roti was a bit more oily than I had hoped, paratha had a good wholemeal wheat taste and wasn't made too thick.   继续阅读

突然想食印度餐,朋友就带左我地去呢间度食。第一次去,食咗先算,所以冇相。不过真系好食,一件食净既嘢都冇。叫左个有椰丝嘅Naan同一个洋葱Naan,curry lentils, 仲有其他羊同鸡不过我最近食素所以冇食就唔讲啦。两款Naan都好好味,内软度就系好啱,唔似平时食嗰啲好乾好硬。椰丝嗰个更加要试,以为会好抢,点知佢其实系少少甜甜哋,配个Curry又有另一番风味。唔怪之得有Michelin 推介,呢间店价钱都公道。三个人散叫4餸2饼3杯饮品,埋单都系600左右。(见到佢有2人/4人set 叫都系3百几)值得再去。 继续阅读

Dahi Puri$68 Dahi Puri 系印度好出名嘅街头小食,脆脆地好薄嘅炸空心圆球放左三种汁,白色,绿色同红色,主要系一种好似甜酱加茄汁加喼汁加yougurt嘅味,成啖食同分开食唔同味,可能系啲酱分层嘅关系,食到中段会有香料味同薄荷味,尾段会有芫茜味,食到後面会有啲辣,味道几有层次感,口感都好丰富。(pani puri同dahi puri嘅分别在於前者系啲街头逐个上,食完一个先一个;後者系成碟上)Roti $16 略嫌硬左啲同乾左啲,同其他两样比冇甘好食,有阵麦味,有啲似乾粮。Pander Naan$28千层都几软熟,里面会有啲绿豆蓉,平时系其他印度餐厅几少见。Bhatura$26炸饼好似扁左嘅油炸鬼,都几特别。Onion Bhaji $40炸洋葱都几香口,可以再炸得松脆啲,不过份量都几多,系一个几易令人接受嘅印度美食。Chicken Tikka $108鸡嘅份量都几多,辣味唔算好重,大部分人都接受到,但系鸡略嫌乾左啲,配菜可以再丰富啲。Shahi Paneer $60汁嘅味道偏甜, 芝士冇平时食开嘅甘唔重味,口感比较松散,份量亦唔多,味道普通。整体黎讲服务唔错,上菜都几快,一样食完接一样,全部都系热嘅。但系开头入去嗰阵会冇冷气,仲有阵厕所味,以一间有翻甘上下装修仲有米芝莲推介嘅餐厅黎讲会令人失望。桌上的樽装水居然收$10,平时嘅印度餐厅多数不收费,或者会标明。不过服务都唔错,侍应几好笑容,食完都会问你有咩意见。但系食物比较普通,不过比起平时嘅印度餐厅算系有较多嘅选择。 继续阅读

Of late I've been craving for Indian food, specifically the Chicken Biriyani. I live in North Point so I ended up at Tulsi. They received the Michelin recommendation from 2012-2018. I ordered a plate of chicken biryani (takeaway due to covid related restrictions). The long grain basmati rice was orange & yellow coloured mixed with gracious amounts of boned chicken. The herbious flavor of the biriyani made for a delightful lunch. A mint raitha was served alongside as well which I mixed with portions of the biriyani to mollify the spices from the biriyani. My only frown was the portion should have been more to fully satisfy the belly. I'd probably go back once more to have the sit-down biriyani set to check if the portions are any different for dine-in. At HKD 104 it's priced a tad above par, especially for the location. 继续阅读
