本人於10月8日致電訂座10月17日的晚餐,接電話的女員工說那晚暫時無2人枱並叫本人留下聯絡電話稍後再回覆我。直至10月16日本人尚未接獲回覆於是再致電查詢,但這店的員工只向我說10月17日無2人枱便掛綫。本人再於11月3日致電訂座11月24日的晚餐(三星期前訂座),接電話的女員工說暫時未能回覆那晚有沒有枱並叫本人留下聯絡電話稍後再回覆我。但這次更過份,因為直至今天也沒有回覆我。最後給這餐廳一句衷心的評價語:不知所謂!!!!!!

The atmosphere was excellent if you are expecting a special dinner with unique atmosphere, howeverIt takes too long for the food to come!We went there at 7.45pm, the whole meal "finished" at 11.12pm. Why it takes so long?Cause they wait til every customers to deliver the courses! It was exciting at the beginning, but after sitting for almost an hr to wait for the first dish, we got bored.We were actually a bit disappointed with the food, cause with such a price, we expect something more "out-sta

We went there at 7.45pm, the whole meal "finished" at 11.12pm.

Why it takes so long?
Cause they wait til every customers to deliver the courses! It was exciting at the beginning, but after sitting for almost an hr to wait for the first dish, we got bored.

We were actually a bit disappointed with the food, cause with such a price, we expect something more "out-standing", apart from the appetitzer which is the scallop and tuna, the foie gra is "can" foie gra, not the real foie gra..

We ordered champagne+ distill water and the 7 courses set dinner (no choice).

We did not plan to have any special dinner yesterday, just want to go to Deep Water Bay to have casual dinner. It is amazing that we found this restaurant - Le Boat.The restaurant "Cococabana" will have a sampan to send you to the Boat. At night, the boat looks so nice with some special lighting.When we arrive the boat, the atmosphere is so good that we cannot believe. They made the menu likes a certificate, I love it. Their dinner is 8 set course, which cost $680 + 10% service charge. 1) Foie

3) Sea Bass
4) King Prawns
5) Roasted Lamb
6) Melted Brie (cheese)
7) 4 kinds of sampling dessert - Yummy
8) Homemade chocolate
9) Coffee / Tea

As they charge water at around $50, so we prefer to order other drinks. We have ordered a Virgin Bloody Mary and a glass of White Wine. Both my husband & me love this restaurant and their food. We sure will recommend to friends who want to have special dinner with wonderful atmosphere.

Last night, i went to le boat with my bf.Atmosphere is nice, laid-back & friendly with a "floating on the sea" feeling We had the 8-course-set-dinner (HK$680 per head), which was:1. Seared scallops with lemon, thyme butter and hot saffron citrus jelly2. Wedge of foie gras the house of lafitte, in a three bite sandwich with crunchy shallots and berry mustard dressing3. Last night, i went to le boat with my bf.

We had the 8-course-set-dinner (HK$680 per head), which was:

1. Seared scallops with lemon, thyme butter and hot saffron citrus jelly

2. Wedge of foie gras the house of lafitte, in a three bite sandwich with crunchy shallots and berry mustard dressing

3. Seabream (we had seabass instead for some reason, i can't remember
) poached with fine Spanish peppercorns, basil juice and home dried tomatoes

4. King prawns crispy grilled with Parma ham, tarragon aromas

5. Slow roasted rump of lamb (Margerette river Australia) with vintage sherry Spanish vinegar sauce and garlic cumin, confit, puree

6. Melted brie de meaux, dill with Spanish raisins and pine nuts in a mini casserole

7. Two hot sweets with cool delights

8. Homemade Chocolate & Tea or Coffee

The food is wonderful, apart from the fact that the King prawn is a bit too salty for me.

We had also ordered 2 bottles of wine - 2003 "Graves", not bad too


When i was leaving, we ran into a friend who also made some good comments about the place - a nice place for "clandestine" dates... coz you don't have to worry about running into common friends of your bf/ gf/ wife/ husband etc... fyi, he's french


In addition, the place is staffed with french too... expect nothing less from them!!
