There is a saying in Hong Kong where you don't want to have a cup of coffee at the ICAC because it means you've been brought in for questioning.But times have changed and the headquarters in North Point has opened a coffee shop for the public. Out of curiosity, we went to check it out! When we arrived, it was a lot busier than we expected. There were a lot of tourists?!? Apparently, the place has become a tourist attraction!The coffee shop is located in the lobby. It's run by Po Leung Kuk.The place is decorated with various places to take photos.There is even a selfie photo station filled with various frames to choose from.A vending machine full of souveniers like cups and keychains.And displays of things that they use to interrogate people along with information about what they are about.And then there is the coffee shop. It's mostly geared for take away but there are a few seats surrounding it.Menu is in English and Chinese. Though the tongue-in-cheek names for the drinks are in Chinese only. They have other drinks along with cookies for snacking.Boyfriend got himself a latte ($25) and choose a nutty bean. No really nice looking latte art but the coffee was surprisingly good. Strong enough and with a good nutty taste. I had the Roselle Tea ($20). A locally made bottled tea that was nice and cold. It tasted pretty good and was refreshing.Service was very polite and friendly. The place was clean. The coffee was very good and extremely cheap. A bit hard to find a place to sit with so many tourists. Unsure if we'd return but this was definitely different.

去廉署饮咖啡-一九七四而家几时去廉署饮咖啡都得啦🤣廉政公署成立50周年，喺北角总部开左间咖啡厅「一九七四」，系同保良局以非牟利方式营运，对外开放架😊开放时间系10点至五点，不过听讲头几日4:15pm 都卖晒啦😜有兴趣嘅真系要记住早啲去，咖啡都唔错架，咖啡味都香浓，仲有曲奇可以选择😉大家都可以去试下”清廉”，”保密”同”诚果”啦🤣又可以支持下保良局🙂

廉政公署最出名就系咖啡☕️，难得开咗coffee shop，紧系要去帮衬下，试下廉署手势。廉署𠮶个位介北角站同鲗鱼涌站中间，仲要行去海旁𠮶边，但皓受大陆人欢迎👏🏻，网上平台大热。一入大门🚪口就有一大堆市民，就系咖啡☕️厅，仲有展品睇。保良局社企包办，有三款豆可拣，改埋名，清廉、保密🤐同诚果。前面阿婆阿伯讲「咖啡」，收银入唔到机，我都要出声叫佢地求其😑拣一款，最后扰攘咗5分钟。我拣咗诚果牛奶🥛咖啡☕️$25，系nutty豆，等咗10分钟先有咖啡☕️，中途可参观展品打卡同影相📸做咖啡☕️师，前面有大陆人乱嚟，唔识影，又话自己样衰，重影咗三次。跟飞号码攞咖啡☕️，又有另一个阿婶想攞我𠮶杯，真系睇号码都唔识，好难🤯搞。咖啡☕️味浓，系抵既，同埋可周围拎杯咖啡☕️打卡，不过现场虽然有位，但人太多所以都冇位坐。

清廉的酸苦与诚果的香甜廉署总部楼下开了一间咖啡店，吸引市民和游客买咖啡和打卡，今天经过也凑凑热闹。因为廉署成立于一九七四年，所以用了一九七四做店名。咖啡店的面积不大，座位不多，以外卖为主。咖啡店由保良局营运，提供三款咖啡一款茶，咖啡的名字也与廉洁有关，分别是「清廉」「保密」「诚果和一款自家新鲜洛神花茶，小食有两款曲奇供选择。买咖啡人多，职员给了一张落单纸让我们先勾出要买的品种，然后在柜台付款和取号码单，等叫号取咖啡。等待时我们又在店内随意看看一些廉署有趣模型摆设和售卖纪念品的机，再到自助拍照机玩，20分钟后，咖啡可取了。朋友要「清廉」我要「诚果」，味道不一样。「清廉」入口较苦和带酸，朋友喝不惯，放了咖啡糖才好一点。我打趣说清廉不就是要吃点苦头。我杯「诚果」就较好喝，咖啡味正常，有奶的顺滑，不用放糖也带点甜味。「廉署咖啡」为大众认识已久，这次不请自来品尝一下也不错。
