General Terms and Conditions:

  1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion period is from August 30, 2019 to October 31, 2019, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”). All Single Net Transactions (based on transaction dates, as defined in Clause 23) and Citi Pay with Points Redemptions (based on redemption dates, as defined in “Citi Pay with Points” Terms and Conditions) must be conducted during the Promotion Period.
  2. The promotion is only applicable to the OpenRice Mobile Application (“OpenRice App”).
  3. Unless otherwise specified, this promotion applies to Principal Cardholders of Citi Ultima Card, Citi Prestige Card, Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Rewards Card (except Citi Rewards UnionPay Card), Citi Gold Card and Citi Classic Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) (“Eligible Cards”). Openrice Limited (the “Merchant”) may reject an Eligible Card if its payment system cannot handle the Eligible Card type. Please contact the Merchant for details.
  4. Cardholders are required to settle payments with Eligible Cards during the Promotion Period to enjoy the offer.
  5. Citibank will determine the eligibility of Cardholders to participate in this promotion as well as the transactions based on Citibank’s records.
  6. In case of any fraud/abuse/reversal or cancellation of transactions in respect of which the rebates were awarded, Citibank reserves the right to debit from the Cardholder’s Eligible Card account the equivalent amount of the offer without prior notice.
  7. Cardholders’ Eligible Card accounts must be valid and with good credit record during the Promotion Period and the fulfillment period in order to be eligible to receive the offer, otherwise Citibank reserves the right to forfeit the offer without prior notice.
  8. Cardholders must keep and submit the relevant original credit card sales slips and original merchant sales receipts and/or other documents in respect of the Single Net Transactions for inspection upon request by Citibank. All documents submitted to Citibank will not be returned.
  9. Unless otherwise specified, this promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons, nor be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offer.
  10. Unless otherwise specified, the offer in this promotion can be used at the same time.
  11. Unless otherwise specified, all amounts will be counted in Hong Kong Dollar.
  12. The offer received from this promotion cannot be used to settle any previous outstanding balances, withdrawn as cash advance, nor be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
  13. Availability of the offer is subject to offer or service availability, account status checking and final acceptance by Citibank and the Merchant at their absolute discretion. Photos, product specifications and prices are for reference only.
  14. Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the related products or services. The Merchant is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services. Please contact the Merchant for details.
  15. Citibank and the Merchant reserve the right to amend the terms & conditions without prior notice. All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of Citibank and the Merchant.
  16. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms & conditions, the English version shall prevail.

“Earn up to HK$100 in OpenRice Promotion Code” Terms and Conditions:

  1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion only applies to Principal Cardholders (“Eligible Cardholders”) of Citi Ultima Card, Citi Prestige Card, Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Rewards Card (except Citi Rewards UnionPay Card), Citi Gold Card and Citi Classic Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) (“Eligible Cards”).
  2. During the Promotion Period, Eligible Cardholders are required to fulfil the following conditions in order to receive a HK$50 Openrice Promotion Code per transaction:

(1) register an Eligible Card at OpenRice account;

(2) make a Single Net Transaction of HK$500 or above on Vouchers via OpenRice App with the registered Eligible Card; and

(3) subsequently make a Citi Pay with Points redemption of HK$100 or above via OpenRice App with the registered Eligible Card.

Each Eligible Cardholder will be entitled to receive a maximum amount of HK$100 in Promotion Code during the entire Promotion Period.

  1. Only the first 2,000 Eligible Cardholders who fulfill the aforementioned conditions within the Promotion Period are eligible for the offer.
  2. If transactions are confirmed to be qualified for the offer after verification by Citibank at its sole and absolute discretion, the corresponding Promotion Code will be sent to the last Citibank-registered mobile number of Eligible Cardholders via SMS on or before December 31, 2019.
  3. Regardless of the number of Eligible Card(s) under the same Eligible Cardholder used for the Citi Pay with Points Redemption during the Promotion Period, Citibank will treat as unified record and each Principal Cardholder (based on the unique Hong Kong Identity Card/ Passport number per Citibank’s record) can enjoy the maximum amount of HK$100 in OpenRice Promotion Code once only.
  4. The Promotion Code can be used for future purchase made by the relevant Eligible Card at OpenRice App on or before June 30, 2020. The Promotion Code shall be used in accordance with its terms and conditions. Please contact the Merchant for details.
  5. A "Single Net Transaction" applies to the final amount of a single transaction after deduction of all applicable discounts, reductions and value of cash vouchers. Unposted/ cancelled/ refunded/ falsified/ unauthorized transactions are excluded.

“Citi Pay with Points” Terms and Conditions

  1. Citi Pay with Points Redemption Service (“Service”) applies to Principal Cardholders ("Eligible Cardholders") of Citi Classic Card, Citi Gold Card, Citi Rewards Card, Citi Prestige Card, Citi PremierMiles Card and Citi Ultima Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited ("Citibank") ("Eligible Cards").
  2. This Service is applicable to the Single Net Transaction (as defined in Clause 3 below) Cardholders made at         OpenRice Mobile App with an Eligible Card (“Eligible Transaction”).
  3. A "Single Net Transaction" applies to the final amount of a single transaction after deduction of all applicable discounts, reductions and value of cash vouchers. Unposted/ cancelled/ refunded/ falsified/ unauthorized transactions are excluded.
  4. To enjoy this Service, Eligible Cardholders must verify their identity by providing their mobile phone number that has been registered with Citibank, as per Citibank’s last updated record, to receive a One-Time Password, and the identity verification will be confirmed upon the One-Time Password is correctly entered. Eligible Cardholders can select the amount to redeem with Citi Points (“Points”) and complete the redemption under the Service.
  5. Identity verification will not be required for subsequent redemptions made by the same Eligible Card under the same OpenRice Mobile App account.
  6. The Service is valid immediately after performing the Eligible Transaction. In any case Cardholders exit from OpenRice Mobile App voluntarily or involuntarily including but not limited to network disconnection, technical device malfunction or unexpected outage on OpenRice Mobile App, during any of the steps illustrated under Clause 4-5 above, Cardholders will not be eligible to enjoy the Service and will require to make another Eligible Transaction at OpenRice Mobile App to enjoy the Service.
  7. The amount of Points redeemed for statement credits to offset Eligible Transaction will be deducted from Eligible Card account. Cardholders may redeem up to Eligible Transaction amount in full with Points or available Points at Eligible Card account (whichever is lower). Cardholders must redeem a minimum amount, which is subject to the minimum required Points shown in the Citi Pay with Points page under OpenRice Mobile App for each redemption. Statement credits will be posted to Eligible Cardholders’ Card Account within 7 calendar days of redemption.
  8. The redemption rate varies by credit card types and may change from time to time. The exact redemption amount and points required are based on the display at the Citi Pay with Points page under OpenRice Mobile App at the time of redemption.
  9. Eligible Cardholders must promptly update Citibank of any change to mobile phone number. Citibank shall not be liable to any Cardholders or anyone else for any losses or damages arising from the Service.
  10. The Service cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or traded for cash or other promotion.
  11. If under any circumstances Eligible Cardholders return or cancel the Eligible Transaction, any associated statement credit will remain on Eligible Cardholders’ Card Account and Points will not be returned.
