OpenRice Pay CNY Special – Terms & Conditions

By participating in this promotion offer, the User acknowledges that he/she/it has read, understood, accepted, and agreed to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. The Promotion Period of the offer runs from 09:30 am 11th February 2021 to 11:59 pm 28th February 2021, time refers to Hong Kong time.

  1. This promotional offer only applies to OpenRice Pay Service.
  2. Promotion participant must be an OpenRice member, maintain a valid OpenRice mobile application user account with a valid registered mobile phone number. Each mobile phone number and email address can be registered once only.
  3. All promotion participants must be aged 18 or above and hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card.
  4. Promotion period: From 09:30 am 11th February 2021 to 11:59 pm 28th February 2021, time refers to Hong Kong time.
  5. How to participate: Customers who successfully make transactions with OpenRice Pay during the promotion period will automatically participate. The registered OpenRice member account with same device, email, and/or phone number are identified as the same participant, and able to participate in this campaign once at most. The same participant cannot win the prize repeatedly.
  6. Applicable restaurants: Restaurants that accept OpenRice Pay (list of restaurants). The restaurant reserves the right to accept OpenRice Pay at the end. It is recommended to check with the restaurant in advance. Openrice Limited shall not be responsible for any loss caused by not accepting OpenRice Pay due to restaurant reasons.
  7. Conditions to win: The first 28 customers with most successful OpenRice Pay transactions during the promotion period, not less than twice. Any other online/offline transactions that are not performed by OpenRice Pay, uncompleted transactions, and canceled transactions will not be counted. Users who fail to meet the above conditions will not be able to receive the reward.
  8. Reward: The net payment amount (after discount) of the first transaction made by OpenRice Pay during the promotion period, will receive a full deduction (up to HK$888, whichever is lower).
  9. Arrangement for prize winners: Winner will be notified by registered OpenRice account in-app notification and/or registered email. Announcement will be made within 15 working days after the end of the promotion period. The full deduction amount will be directly refunded to the winner's account in the form of a reward wallet for the next consumption. Those who have not been notified during the above-mentioned period will be deemed as unsuccessful winner without further notice.
  10. The offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or promotional discount coupons unless otherwise specified.
  11. The offer above cannot be exchanged for cash/ service, other products, or discounts and is not transferable.
  12. Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business.根據香港法律，不得在業務過程中，向未成年人售賣或供應令人醺醉的酒類。
  13. Any fraud and/or abuse of the offer by any person (as determined by Openrice Limited at their sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of the person’s eligibility for the offer. Openrice Limited reserves the right to deduct the value of any improperly obtained offers directly from the relevant person in any eligible account. Without prior notice, and/or take legal action to recover the amount.
  14. Openrice Limited shall not be responsible for any obligations and liabilities in relation to the products or services provided by the respective product or service provider(s).
  15. Openrice Limited shall not be responsible for any matter in relation to submission of delay, loss, and any information transmission error due to technical problems including but not limited to any computer or internet network issues.
  16. Users are responsible for all expenses regarding to this campaign, including but not limited to transportation, tax, and insurance.
  17. Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
